I feel the same. I get random jolts/twitches in my legs/arms/fingers ESPECIALLy at night, its pretty minor but it's there and really keep me awake, I googled it and they start saying horrific things..which I think is adding to my anxiety and just worsening it even more. I did have a horrible sleeping schedule for past 3 months cause quarintine so I'm trying to fix it now (hoping it's reason i am getting these)

If someone has twitches due to stress and anxiety then don't freak just ignore them. Tell your brain it's harmless again and again, breathe in and breathe out, move your body and engage yourself in some activity. I know it's easier said than done but these are the things that helped me. Hope it helps someone 🙏🙏

However, I take daily vitamins everyday, do not drink caffeine, get about 8 hours a sleep a day, do not drink alcohol, and I am not stressed, nor taking any medications that are listed in this video. Main cause of Twiching
    1) Excessive mastrubation causes muscle twitching
    2) not sleeping well.
    3) sitting one place more time.
    4) not going to the sun 🌞.
    5) using more mobile & Computer.
    6) not taking good diet .
    7) negative thoughts in mind .

@@naturalathleteclinic I watched the video. Is it to do with poor blood circulation or the nerves playing up (lack of blood flow)? As the clip states, I’m an avid tea drinker (tea-aholic)! I’ve also been sleep deprived, largely, since 2017, when I got my divorce! Again, I’m stressed due to what these people (coordinated working) have done to this “family,” namely, it’s had an adverse effect on my son (separation anxiety). This set up of his fathers full time absence has affected or hindered his learning and progress at school, whilst the remote audience (certain people) tune in for entertainment purposes and wider political motives at play so I generate WWIII! They really need to find another puppet as I’m NOT one to be played nor messed with!!! Little do they realise, the devastation they’ve caused to this family, post 2015!!! Then such have the audacity to ACT oblivious! Waiting to take the throne, Allah willing! Revenge is sweet, as the saying goes! One mustn’t destroy families nor meddle in relationships as these are private matters/issues! Such a civilised society, we live in (NOT)! The bastion of civilisation!!! Is it “civil” to destroy a family, which is supposed to be the cornerstone of society?!? Those that are reading this, don’t attempt to finish me off via coordinated working, as with the car incident en route to Reading, in October 2022, whereby my car would’ve had the potential to caught (catch) fire 🔥 with myself and my son in it, had I driven or continued with the journey! A warning to the haters: Allah saves whom He wills!

I have an enormous twitch only in my index finger of the right hand. Incidentally, it's the one I use the most--from bass playing to typing and browsing with my computer mouse. Also, I've been really stressed lately and have had sleep deprivation. I'm glad to know that these are the causes, though, haha I was worried it might've been an underlying disease or something bad like that.

Ugh three of the 5 causes I am guilty of. Alcohol, not enough sleep, and tons of stress. I have horrible anxiety and the twitching is making it worse! I also can’t sleep because of it so idk how I’m supposed to fix it. It’s been 2-3 days. I haven’t had any alcohol and I don’t drink soda or any other caffeine. I take b12 vitamins daily but probably deficient in other areas. Should I go see my doctor??? It’s driving me absolutely insane.

You can, to an extent. If you're eating a well rounded healthy diet ideally you'd have enough. But, this is also why we supplement, to provide specific nutrients above dietary levels to cause a specific effect in the body. Vitamin D, calcium, B6, B12 and magnesium are the most important nutrients for preventing muscle twitches.

I dealt with this about 6-7 years ago. I had twitching everywhere. Legs, calves, stomach, face, hands, etc. The more I thought about it, the worse it seemed it was. It put me in a heightened sense of anxiety, and twitching seemed to dominate my thoughts. When it first started, I looked online for possible causes. Of course, I looked for the worse case scenario :) I was nearly convinced I had MS or ALS, and that seemed to increase my awareness of the twitching even more. Even though I was afraid to do it, I eventually had two Electromyography (EMG) tests, about a year or so apart ( this condition lasted a while ). Both came up negative for any abnormal muscle conditions. I started to feel some relief because of the test results and not worry so much. As my worry decreased, it seemed the twitching followed suit. Not that I think that was the complete answer. I also made diet changes, exercised, prayed to God for help and tried not to worry so much about work; I've always had a stressful job. I still get the occasional twitch once or twice a day, but usually don't notice any for weeks or months.
