Thank you for selecting the base model to review, because most other reviewers choose to go with higher trims which I believe most of us are not interested in. I would recommend reviewing base models for all vehicle models.
My '19 ram hemi motor seized up coming home from work. Warranty isn't covering the work as the truck was built in Canada and now it's in NY and ram said warranty is shot once it leaves Canada. I prayed on the side of the road for something good to come from this. I'm looking at tundras now but I don't know if I can afford one. I'll pray on it. God bless
Enjoyed the review and the story you shared at the end. I really felt uplifted and was smiling afterwards. Not a typical response after watching a UA-cam review. God bless you!
Nice truck but I’ll keep my 2015 Tundra just for the 5.7L. The TT V6 doesn’t get much better gas mileage as advertised. Hopefully Toyota brings back the 5.7L. I would definitely buy one with the 5.7L.
A few weeks back I test drove a 2021 Tundra SR5 V8 and a 2022 Tundra SR5 back to back and I have to say that the twin-turbo V6 is so much better than the V8
I just traded my 4Runner for the Tundra SR5 Crewmax this week. I sure miss the in and out abilities of the 4Runner but love the comfort of the Tundra when towing my RV. My husband said it's going to be like driving a tank compared to the SUV, but it really isn't, just longer is all. Thank you for acknowledging our Lord in your video, it sure made my heart feel good when I heard it.
I would love to own this truck! Driving a 2010 4 .6 L Tundra at the moment. I asked my old mechanic one time what type of truck was the best? His response was: "buy a Tundra."
Thanks man. After reviewing the actual Toyota site, the rear seat folding function and the rear sliding window function were clear as mud as to how they operated and whether they were in fact available on the SR5. This answered both questions, so thank you... you outdid Toyota.
I currently have the 2023 tundra sr5 . The seats are with question the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in in any vehicle . Very nice truck overall , fun to drive , great acceleration , mpg is not as advertised and the seats are very poor.
i have one too and i love the seats. a bit too roomy, if anything, would prefer a bit tighter bolstering, but otherwise great. though mine has a few interior options, so maybe i have different seats than others.

I appreciate the fair review Isaac. I'm looking for a new truck and Tundra and Tacoma seem really nice. I like the space and power of the Tundra but I like the aesthetics of the Tacoma.
I saw on the Car Care Nut channel -- Should I buy a Tacoma and common problems. He mentions the squealing belt and there is a fix for it. It sounded like it was just a replacement upgraded belt that fixes the problem
I’m super sleepy, and the only reason I’m replying to this is because I laughed really hard at your profile picture. I know the belt can be replaced, I just don’t really feel I should have to pay for it
Hey man I have a prayer request, my wife has a rare kidney disease. Her name is Meredith. She has been on an experimental treatment for the last 3 years. It worked great! She had a normal life on it. Well the study ended and they didn’t file for an extension so now we are having to find different medication. We are waiting on the FDA to approve it’s almost been a year. We are both believers. We trust in Gods timing. Great video by the way I actually just purchased a 24 tundra sr5 xp
Thanks for the objective review! Has Toyota improved the quality of their center console? How about navigation. Still a subscription monthly payment? I’m sure they have improved the vision through their tiny windows right? How about the easy access bed in the back.? I like the motor and transmission though. I’m not anti Toyota. I own a Toyota 2022 OFP 4 Runner. But it’s clear To me this truck has its shortcomings and they need to be addressed which you did not mention.
Being an owner of a 22 Platinum Hybrid I can answer for you. No issues with the center console, I love the layout and it's highly functional. No issues with navigation, not sure what you are going for here. Toyota isn't alone on subscription plans, but it's not needed to operate the truck. No issues with the visibility through the front window, would suggest you buy some glasses. Super easy to get in and out of the back, waiting to park alongside the gimmick multi-gate truck, and watch them fumble setting it up while I'm in and out of the bed of the truck with the auto-step. Not sure what "shortcomings" you are talking about, but you are entitled to your opinion.
Bro!! I’m glad the all information you had for us about Toyota . I had Tundra 2023 SR5 of road. Could you talk about that model please! But the most important part for Me I’m glad how God use you to speak about His Kingdom! Thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks for the video. What a wonderful surprise that you’re a Christian! God bless you. Please pray for George and that god guides me to making the right decision on my upcoming truck purchase. Thanks bud!
I have an older Tundra. Looking at the amount of snap together plastic panels in what used to be a called a front and rear bumper makes me gag. One question: what is the payload rating for this SR5? 🚚
I enjoyed your testimony at the end. That has happened to me several times. Something goes wrong, I have to go somewhere I didn't plan on going or want to go as a result, and the Lord uses it to touch others. Most of the time, it has resulted in the Gospel being shared. One time, a girl who worked at Best Buy gave her heart and life to Jesus Christ right in the store after I shared the Gospel and my testimony with her! I had grumbled the whole time driving there because I didn't want to have to go there. What a reminder that God is in control, that he wants to use our lives to touch others, while building our faith in Him that he will help us get through what went wrong that brought us to where we didn't plan on going in the first place. Thanks for the video on the Tundra. That's definitely a truck I'm interested in.
It's good to be proud of your Christian faith. You are on the right path. I am a Catholic and is very proud to make God in the center of my life and decision making. So many souls are lost these days.
Toyota blew it on the redesign. Truck looks cheap and the grille is hideous. No more V8 option and almost 50k for a base model. Im a Toyota guy but if I needed a pickup truck I would go with a Chevy with an LS V8 engine
Hi Isaac, God bless. Glad to see this trim reviewed. I do have a prayer request; I have six 9 1/2 month old puppies from a female dog I rescued after she was hit by a car. I need other people's faith to unite with mine and petition God in Heaven to help me feed and continue to take care of these doggies for as long as needed, Amen.
My 2017 Sr5 had better steering wheel controls layout . My 2017 had a full box safe in the console and not the tiny French fry safe ! My 2017 sr5 had a power driver seat My 2023 dont ! Currently My 2023 says my routine commute average is 14.8 and My 2017 SR5 5.7 averaged 15.4 !!!!!!!!!!!! WTF ? My 2023 dash display shows limited use of only a few apps and My 2017 had an aftermarket display that 100% mirrored My phone !!!! WTF ? No rear seat power port on the console as in the 2017 . No music equalizer capability ! WTF ? Needless to say My 2017 looked much nicer than the new crackhead schoolbus design of the 2023 !

Great review and story Issac! You just never know what people are through, it's always a good thing to pray for them.
Awesome review! Great to see other Christian making auto content!!

I got my SR5 TRD sport premium 2 weeks ago. Absolutely love it highly recommended.
Awesome!
How much did you spend on it?

The new truck is better than the old 5.7 in every way. Ask people who have had both. No one misses the 5.7.
@damianryan5 I have a new one and it's sweet but I will never get a good exhaust sound and to me it's a heart break

options i want:

4wd with rear locker

radio with cd player
heated seats
things i don't want
huge screens
turbo chargers
fuel economy over reliability.
complex maintenance
expensive long term repairs
thing's i'd rather walk then drive..

pedestrian safety systems
crash avoidance systems
lane keep anything
radar cruise control

Yeah that’s kinda how I feel, good truck! But I’ll wait awhile to get one myself.
How is the wind noise at 65 mph ?
Need power seats or at lease power driver seat! Also arm rest in back seat!

Idk what ls considered to be in the sr5 version and what’s not. Some stuff you pointed out I have on my 2019 rav4
The SR5 is the trim
I enjoyed the video. I love the new look for the tundra, u like the tundra over the f150?
I haven't had the 2024 yet, but I like it more than the current 2023 in certain trims.
When are they getting tow hooks?
You didn’t mention if it has locking differential. Could you tell us if it does?
I know some of them have it as an option, but I’m not sure if it’s standard.

Would you get a tundra sr5 or a 2024 tacoma sr5 for 11,000 cheaper ?

Awesome video and story. What is the average fuel economy of the Tundra with the V6? Psalm 144:15
It’s in the ballpark of 18-20 mpg better than the outgoing, but not amazing
It is not 18-20. It’s more like 15-16, atleast in winter time in Minnesota .
