- Whoa! I thought I was done playing the Punch-Out!! series, but they pull me back in... Punch-Out!! The Master Edition includes every single Punch-Out!! opponent in the entire series, except Donkey Kong and Doc Louis from the Wii version. All put into the original engine. This thing is awesome. You can also choose from different version of Lil Mac, I chose the version that stacks stars like the Wii, and turns out it makes the game way harder lol. It has no real ending, and you can fight any opponent at any time. This, to me, is the definitive version of the classic.

Pretty awesome how they put these 4 Super Punch-Out!! characters in here, they fit right in. Hoy is just as annoying as ever, of course lol. I allowed myself one knockdown on Dream/Tyson cause my reactions ain't what they used to be...

Can't say that I'm surprised by Mr Sandman being the first fight in the series to go more than one round. He was a beast in both Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and Punch-Out Wii. Super Punch-Out really did Sandman dirty.

They are originally from the Special Circuit of Super Punch Out, a fan incorporated them into the NES version.

The music playing during the match seems designed to lull you to sleep 😂 I think the music on the NES version is way better, Id have to shut the music off or mute it if I were playing this, not a fan of the music that plays during the fights....

C’mon man, show a little respect. Surely the OG arcade champions, Mr. Sandman and Super Macho Man deserve to be placed above The Bruiser Bros. and Mr. Dream. I mean there is a reason that they and not the Bruisers were chosen for the top of the World Circuit in Punch Out Wii. I mean even Bald Bull, Don Flaminco and Soda Popinsky should be placed above these guys.
Word to the wise: The characters featured in the Super Punch Out Special Circuit are some of the least special characters in the entire series.
It’s based on their positions throughout the franchise.

Meh. I hate to be a hater, but the later characters telegraph too much, and the original feel isn't there.
It's cool, but not as cool as MTPO. I wish the OG rom was easier to hack.

There are some fights that were backed with save states there is no reason for that

The code of this game is highly questionable. Punch out is one of the best examples of why older games can not be emulated and play like it does on the original hardware.
While yes this game looks pretty terrible compared to the original, the original is easily emulated and plays and feels like the original....if you have a good nes controller that is. I've beaten it many times on my raspberry pi. Legitimately too

@dsnobs78 I know, it's not an opinion, it is the technical facts. It is very difficult to dodge every punch in real time. I've only beat Tyson on real hardware twice, one KO, one TKO, and I was jacked up on slurpees from 7-11
