My boss told me this story the other day: It took him multiple times to beat Mike Tyson and he eventually did (keep in mind, this was before the days of cell phones and taking pictures and sending them to other people). They are all actually easy. You just eventually learn their timing and "tells".. my sister could never get past Tiger, I was the first in our household and I remember her staring in awe. But to be fair, we didn't know about the super punch (start), i figured it out by accident. And for the longest time, none of us could get past bulls "charge", as soon as you dodge he sets up and charges again, and will keep doing it until timeout. Eventually i punched his gut and it was easy from there. And pretty much all that experience caused me to look out for tells and to try new rhings

I owned the "REAL" game...but never beat him. He just came at you, and if he hit you once or twice, he's droppin' ya. Still to this day one of the toughest end bo$$es in the history of video games 🥊🥊
I’m wonder what the other fights look like. Bald Bull vs Piston Honda for instance. Like how much standing around do they do before they throw a punch. Some of them take forever to throw a punch when you are playing as Mac.
The way you saved your last star to strategically set up the jumping uppercut as your final f**k you to Tyson couldn't have been done any better. The only damage you took was from the second Piston Honda. I don't think you did, but I'm going to ask anyway. was this a clean run, or did you edit out any losses? Gaging from what I watched, I feel there's no way in hell you lost a fight. This is the smoothest and quickest run i've ever seen. Much respect 🥊+😨=💥😵☠️🏆🎉🎉
Great fighting. The only suggestions I have are: 1) On the 2nd Don, don't knock him down the 2nd time in round 1. Let him survive with no health. That way, you can knock him down on your 1st hit in round 2. 2) Do the same thing to Sandman. Only knock him down 1 time in round 1. 3) Do the same thing with Tyson. Knock him down 1 time in round 1. Then you can drop him early in round 2 and get the TKO earlier.
Yeah I panicked on 2nd Don. Played him so many times I just bullied through that fight. The others were about the best I could do with my old man reflexes :(
Wow this brings back memories! Did you use some sort of cheat fighting Tyson like slomo? Because you beat him like a boss. Either that or you are a practiced master and I applaud you because back in the day this and Ironsword were two games I never beat

I love that game along with tecmo super bowl. Add to that street fighter and mortal Kombat 2 and 3 and ultimate. All of those are my favorite games and I forgot ghosts and goblins.
Man, what a classic game! ❤
When this game came out Mike Tyson was yet to even get knocked down in a fight.. Mr, Dream wasn't gonna cut it. You either beat Tyson and bragged about it in school, or to your neighborhood friends. I owned the "REAL" game...but never beat him. He just came at you, and if he hit you once or twice, he's droppin' ya. Still to this day one of the toughest end bo$$es in the history of video games 🥊🥊
it is still cool watching you punch dan flamenco but watching you i can not stop thinking that people have beat don flamenco in 12 seconds
brings back so many memories
Me: Rolls my eyes at my 10yo watching kids play Minecraft on YT. Also me: Watches this entire video with fond nostalgia.
I only ever got to Sandman. But in my defense, I only had a NES for a few months before my brother sold it for smokes. I still hate him.
Was obsessed with this game.... loved it
I'm 47 took me back to the first time i played Tyson but got knocked out!😂🍻
Show me someone that says they beat him on their first try and I'll show you a liar lmao
Maaaaaan those where the days mane I tell ya.
Got lucky on that second Bald Bull fight 😏
I've always wondered if the fictional boxers in the game are named after or inspired by real boxers of the time the game was released.
I feel like I'm looking back 200 years
Hours of fun my top 5 favorite video game of all time
One of the greatest games of my childhood ..
Fun game back when i was kid. I remember buying the game along with the Nintendo
bro put don flamenco in a infinite combo😭
Mario as the ref was dope when I was a kid
all BOSSES? the title should say "all boxers" since the bosses are just Piston Honda, Bald Bull, Super Macho Man, Mike Tyson and Mr. Dream.
9:08 The Camera Flash hidden in the crowd.
I’m wonder what the other fights look like. Bald Bull vs Piston Honda for instance. Like how much standing around do they do before they throw a punch. Some of them take forever to throw a punch when you are playing as Mac.
Mr Dreams Avatar kinda looks like Gronk. Haha
Old school love it born in 1978 memories 😊
I wish i could say i beat Tyson , but nope i never could.
Same, I think I was about 6 or 7
Same we'll have to put it on our bucket list
The way you saved your last star to strategically set up the jumping uppercut as your final f**k you to Tyson couldn't have been done any better. The only damage you took was from the second Piston Honda. I don't think you did, but I'm going to ask anyway. was this a clean run, or did you edit out any losses? Gaging from what I watched, I feel there's no way in hell you lost a fight. This is the smoothest and quickest run i've ever seen. Much respect 🥊+😨=💥😵☠️🏆🎉🎉
I would wake up at 4 in the morning, two hours before I had to get up for school to play this game. Please don't tell my parents.

Did the original Mike Tysons Punch Out have Mr. Dream? I don't remember him
DF2, the long combo sequence is LLRLLRLLR. Also delayed punches do a bunch of extra damage to sandman when you're hitting his gut.
I was deprived. I never knew of a Mr.dream? Wat the heezy?
Same here. Where did he come from?
Brings back great memories 😊
My first question when playing this game was why was little mac probably a strawweight going up against Bald Bull a Super Heavyweight?
Great fighting. The only suggestions I have are:
1) On the 2nd Don, don't knock him down the 2nd time in round 1.
The others were about the best I could do with my old man reflexes :(
@JaysTavern I enjoyed the vid, man. Great job! 🤛
Wow this brings back memories! Did you use some sort of cheat fighting Tyson like slomo? Because you beat him like a boss. Either that or you are a practiced master and I applaud you because back in the day this and Ironsword were two games I never beat
