God, I had this game as a kid and it's just awesome! Killer friggin soundtrack... Capcom was really killing it in the soundtrack and sound design department back in the day.

It is indeed a hard game. This is a TAS (Tool Assisted Superplay/Speedrun) which is a frame perfect playthrough of the game. It takes a lot of time to be done though since it requires a lot of save and load states.

He had a thing with Storm at one time. They were even married in the pseudo-Age of Apocalypse storyline the animated series did. Would've been neat if they'd been together in his ending slide.

Growing up my friend had this on his snes and I had X-men 2 on Genesis. We often talked about how if X-men 2's gameplay had been matched with Mutant Apocalypse's graphics, the perfect X-men game would be the result, haha.

I just beat this a few days ago for the first time. Where was this video when I needed help beating Magneto. I eventually did, but not with this much finesse.
If you use beast you can just constantly butt-bounce on Magnetos head until he dies. I was honestly surprised the TAS didn’t use that tactic (but the TAS is faster).
i loved psylocke so much in this and in Gems off war. i let the Game Run for Hours ( Gems Off war) whit the Awesome Iron man Stage and cranked the Volume up so that even my Neighbours heared the Sound xd.
