Rockman & Forte (ロックマン&フォルテ), known as Mega Man & Bass in the Western world, used to be the last game chronologically released for the original Rockman/Mega Man series, until Rockman & Forte Mirai kara no Chōsensha (ロックマン&フォルテ 未来からの挑戦者) was released on the WonderSwan handheld system.
This game bears a striking resemblance to Mega Man 8, not only in style, but in excessive graphic detail. Similarly to Mega Man X4, the player has the option to choose one of two characters to play through. In this run, Forte is chosen.
sparky ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/s... ) takes the game apart with some glitches that allow Forte to zip around in walls. This run is 00:59.83 seconds faster than the previous run ( tasvideos.org/1132M ), mostly due to new glitches. Read the author's comments ( tasvideos.org/3010S ) for more details.

I saw something like that the first time I discovered reddit.
For some reason Cold Man has 120 frames of invincibility after being hit, more than some other bosses. Combo this with having to do it buster only with Forte's weaker shots, and this fight takes a LONG time. Might as well screw around.
3:11 that shooting to the beat is the most beautiful one of it's kind. No damage, perfectly on time.
Here comes the new megaman rhythm game xD or the game rockman should have been anyways since the protagonists were originally named after musical themes xD

I love it when TAS's have fun with scripted segments, like the Ice boss. Dude coulda just waited for openings to attack but they got fancy and did in sync with the music. Mad respect.
I love how the most minmaxed strategy for King's jet is to fucking die in a spot that respawns you on the other side.

Reminds me of that Piranha Plant boss from the very first Yoshi's Island game. You could either beat it normally, or hit its original form from a distance before the battle even began.
It's amusing when you do that and Kamek goes, *"OH MY... "* and leaves the area in a hurry. 😆😆😆
It has the same energy as the Turbo Man trick in Megaman 7.

My favorite TAS of this game. I think the only reason why Mega Man is faster than Bass in the TAS is because Bass' weapon get animation takes 3 times longer.
This TAS when I first saw was the first time I noticed input timed to the beat of music. I wish there was a playlist of TASs that did this because I'd watch them all.

The setup on Tengu Man was hilarious
Something similar happens to Wily Capsule. When the boss comes in, he literally has 0 health and it fills when they make their entrance. The trick is getting a mine there to go off before the health bar fills up.

When you make an entrance, don't clown yourself by stepping on a bomb.

@@niclaswa5408 I did not remember that. MM2 was the one I played the most. After that I skipped right to the X series, which doesn’t have any characters in MMBN :(
@@cc4938 I see. I was thinking that since you’re here, you’ve played all numbered classic games up to MM&B. You’re also right about the X series, with the exception of Colonel and Zero. They both have a .exe counterpart.
@@niclaswa5408 Ahh Colonel must’ve been after X3, which would make sense cuz all I had growing up was a SNES. I missed all the PS1 X games. I don’t remember Zero at all in MMBN. Was he in one of the spin-offs?
@@cc4938 I’ve only beaten BN1 and stopped playing during BN2 after realizing that the BN wasn’t for me, so everything I’m saying is just from UA-cam videos that mentions BN. I’ve played the PS1 games on the PS2 collection, and X7 and X8 on the Legacy Collection. If I remember correctly, Zero.exe appears in Network Transmission for Game Cube.

Question! First I want to start by saying that to this day, this is still my favorite TAS of this game just because of how clean and unessicarily STYLISH this game is.
