I made a video similar to this all about Redken Shades EQ a few months back and figured I would do the same for Joico Lumishine as well since they are my two go to toning lines. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Yep. We used to use those premixed Wella toners and they NEVER worked how I wanted them to. Now that I mix my own toners with a 5 volume I'm so much happier. I actually use the Wella color charm liquids as toners with great results :-)

Love love lumishine Joico in general is my fav especially because I rent and tend to want to stick with one line due to expenses. I also love that is does what is says !
Very helpful! Please consider doing one on Joico Chrome (I am unsure as to when to use Chrome vs. Lumishine demi) I would also like to see one done about Kpak color vs. Lumishine. Are they intermixable, why the different developers, etc. THANK YOU!

Love your pups. I have a 2 yr standard poodle and she looks lot like your white one.💕 I ordered joico 6nwb to cover my gray roots and the 20 volume developer. The developer is enroute and I’m wondering if I can use my 30 blonde me developer mixed with this or do I need to wait until I get the joico developer? Thank you, Kim

Love ❤️ lumishine, I work with redden and swartzkoph. But lumishine is always available to the professional supply to buy and like you say with only one bottle toning, low light with 5 volume . Clear glossing with fine hair for shine and body.
I loove this video I started using joico since I found out you use it and I’m obsessed they definitely last so much longer then redken , please go more into depth on there age defy , also have you ever had a toner turn green? I loved that redken would turn blue but never left hair blue or green

Wanted to see formulas and picture of how it looks and hopefully a comparison with other lines. But we have barely a touch on formulas at the end of the video. Instead she just reads an intro about the dye. If I want to read a label I can read it myself. I wanted to know is it transparent or no? What about hair quality as compared to Shades (shades are very good to hair)?
I went with the demi / 5 vol. since i got a smoothing treatment i did on myself I thought it was the best option.

I've only used Redken Shades EQ on my hair (9n, 9p, 9v). With the Joico line, would the comparables be 9n, 9sb, 9v? Also, does the Joico give you more time to process on the head before rinsing? Love your videos and unbelievable knowledge with blonding!
shellsssinner would like to know as well. Technically we are supposed to leave SEQ on 20 min, on dry hair. But once we know the rules, we can know how to break the rules. I tone on damp hair and and sometimes leave on for 5 minor 10 min

Favorite shampoo is Pureology Nano Works Gold Shampoo and Conditioner your hair will grow really long like even if you have cancer

Not working for joico,but new clients with gray,n series’s with 10 volume on men and new color clients is perfect.
Joico color shampoo is good to but only once a week.

I did my training in the late 80s & finished in the early 90s , toning wasnt a thing

Im in NZ , & the only toning the senior stylists showed me was neutralising yellow . There was no such thing as anything other things that around today

🤔 ....correction I’m a stylist I’ve been doing hair for twenty years not only did I learn toner in school, I’ve taken and now taught many advance classes. I find it the uneducated that don’t know toner it’s up to the stylist to decide how great they want to be . Side note if you paid for education and didn’t receive it in beauty school you should sue because toning has always been a part of color education it’s not new 🤦🏾♂️
