I’d love a part 2 to this, where you actually show us examples on clients. Show us their hair & then explain why you picked certain toners for them. Not just on blondes, but a few different levels! & examples of you using SEQ to fill hair. Also, not sure if you’ll see this, but I saw a Redken educator say that you ARE supposed to shampoo out SEQ.

Yesssssss part two yes yes. This was so helpful going over this. I’ve been using shades for 5 years and I even learned some things myself. Never have used NA because that scares me lol but I would like to give it a go on a shadow root with N. And I haven’t ever used 6gn and now I need it. Lol. Thank you thank you for making these videos !!!!!!

I seriously love you. I’m a color specialist in Boca Raton, Florida where everyone wants to be blonde! Needless to say, I specialize in blondes. I keep watching your videos and am amazed that both you and I have the same foil techniques for the same reasons. I noticed that we also use similar toners and I just smile because blondes make me happy. So thank you for making videos and sharing your knowledge. I also mix colorance and shades all the time to customize a toner for a client. It usually turns out quite beautiful!

      @@haleyl6535
1B Onyx is pretty much black, but a drop of Onyx to a blonde toner , can help you achieve that ashy grayish icy tone. The Key is to only add a drop otherwise you can make the blonde look too dark. :)

Great video. Very informative. Thank you for taking the time to create this.
Side note.. (and for the record I hate when ppl do this but in this case I have to since the integrity of the client's hair may be jeopardize or the overall final results may be altered.. and knowledge is power! Lol)..
***There has been a misconception regarding whether or not you have to shampoo the solution out after processing. *YES, always. It suds or lathers up when you massage it into the hair due to the ingredient lauryl sulfate or SLS (a foaming agent or emulsifier designed to create a foamy consistency which essentially makes the hair feel clean). However, that does not mean the solution includes any ingredients designed to cleanse. Always shampoo. (PS: I got this information from a Redkin representative).
Again, thank you for all the information you provided. I learned quite a few things that can definitely make or break my work. God bless.

So with the gel lacquer did she highlight that part of the hair and use the eq throughout the base? Thank you 😊 I am confused 🤷🏽‍♀️ how I am suppose to apply these products

OMG 😍 thank you for taking the time to explain shades, I used it in school 10yrs ago and wanted a refresher, I appreciate the fact that you were straight for to the point, a lot of times I'll watch a video people spend 20 minutes just talking about nonsense just to talk and then spend five minutes on the point.. cooking tutorials are the worst for that. But I will save this one for future reference #nomoreblue

You mentioned about using shades to fill hair and you want to fill one level at a time. In your example going from a level 9 to a 4, are you saying that you would first apply a level 8 and process, then apply a level 7 etc.. or do you mix an 8 and 7 together to fill and then process, then mix levels 6 and 5? Just wanted you to clarify that.. also could you share what colors in those fill levels you usually use? Thank you!
