thanks for sharing John that turned out super nice. I love how the wood contrast the metal.
Dig it John. Really like the mix of rustic and industrial. Well done, man.
Nice build and cool way to give back......Field notes are awesome!
came out great. love the look ! great that your doing a giveaway! much love
Love it, wood working and metal in one is always fun!
Great project and cause. I just found your channel today by accident and now I'm your newest subscriber. I've never worked with metal before. Have been a little intimidated by it. Thinking about taking a metal class at my local makerspace. Wasn't sure I'd have any desire to work with metal but you've inspired me.
I like a nice and simple but very kool build..... thx for sharing
Great project and great cause! Just added this to my todo list.
Looks cool. Thanks for sharing!
Love what Carhartt's been doing with influencers. Also love the Lincoln product cameos.
Thanks Craig. Working all the red into the flow more and more!
Right on John.
Great design and a great cause.
An easier way to bend the flat bar, you could hold two small round bars in a vice. Would leave no marks on the piece either.
Nice done bro! 👍🏽
Really like how you combine the metal and wood in your work. I've never done any metal work. Would like to try that sometime. Nice Job John.
Its fun man!
Good looking stuff!
looks great!
Looks awesome bud!!! 👍
I am super stoked that I commented on the super nice, great looking project .
Thank you sir!
Nice build. Love the reclaimed oak.
Nice job, I found some large sections of mahogany trim would make a good project like this thanks.
Awesome work. Glad to see that it's local to me. definitely going to go donate when i get a chance
Awesome Ryan!
Looks great. Someone will be very luck
Cool.
Great job!!
Nice job!
Nice simple project.
Nice !
dude you are killing my eyes with the welder! Still thumbs up for the work!
Haha I should’ve warned you to wear a helmet
Carefull welding zinc coated steel, that stuff is toxic when it burns. You can strip the zinc with muriatic acid. Good job btw !
EXCELENTE MAESTRO
Love the look of the rack...might make one myself. Great video! I'm not too far away from you. Base of the panhandle in WV
Thats not too too bad. Let me know if youre ever in the burgh!
Looks freaking awesome!
Would have to improvise the metal work, but I like it!
Yea its basically just winging it with the metal. PLeased how it came out tho
I currently don't have any metalworking stuff, save a drill and hack saw. Would have to get very crafty! 😅
Nice bro
Great stuff , glad I subscribed
Im glad too!
hey shitbird, I'm liking the videos! Makes me want to learn to weld.
Do You have a family from Poland ? :) I'm glad I found Your channel, it's so satysfying to watch You build
I believe i do
You say "grommet", but I think you mean "gusset". Nice design and work, though. Thumbs up!
What did you use to paint the metal and wood ? didn´t catch the name, does it avoid rust ?
Metal is a rattle can of metal paint and primer i believe
One of the things I do is build stuff and donate it to a school, and they raffle it, to raise money.
No grommets here. Just gussets. Carry on.
nice project, can you tell what's the name of the tool to make the holes "square".
i dont think there is any square holes in this project. But you may be referring to the counter sink for the metal holes. they are round, and lets the screw head sit flush
Hey, thanks for the response. I made a mistake trying to explain myself. I meant the bit you use in 6:05, to make the holes for the screws, i guess that is to make the hole in the wood to match the center with the metal holes.
ahhh its a viks bit. If you turn on the sound i touch on why im using it in the video !
John Malecki Thanks, found it. I tried to understand what you said in the video, but I'm not really good speaking english, so tried to activate the captions but didn't work. thanks for the help.
Where is Jordan??
what kind of tool you use when you cut metal is like laser
that is a plasma cutter. I use a Lincoln Tomahawk 375 with its own compressor!
When you keep saying grommet do you mean gusset?
I do, thanks for the correction
My husband used these plans from woodprx and he's very satisfied.
You sound like Anthony Bourdain
that is very flattering, thank you!
