As a light/red hair colored bearded person, I can not pull off any of the short/stubble styles. Stubble styles look patchy. Correct me if I'm wrong but only 1 picture was not dark hair. Color affects the style that we can do.

1:58 a 2 week beard? This is my 7 days beard. I only have short beards, cause the longer beards pinches my face. I did try a 4 weeks beard but that was way too long in my opinion. It's about 1.6 inches in 4 weeks (but trimmed it in those 4 weeks to manage the form). I've always had some type of beard since I was 16 years old. If I shave it all off I don't even recognize myself and I look like I'm 16 years old or something while I'm almost 44😂 People literally think I'm a teenager when I don't have a beard, so I don't like that. Got asked many times if I was on my holiday job (while I was the owner) in the summer and that I had to go to school after the summer😅 Now that my beard suddenly is half grey (it happened really between shaves) people start to think I'm older (still younger than my age but still).

I think the most important thing with whatever kind of facial hair you have is you do something with it. Keep it clean, comb it, look like you put some thought/effort into it. There really wasn't an example of someone having like a year long grow where they've done nothing. None of the women would have liked that look. My beard is pretty long, probably 3"/4", but I keep the flyaways at bay, shave my neck and cheekline and shave my head. It's a clean look. Not a chance I shave it down to stubble with a bald head, too much "bald real estate", lol.
i stick to the executive, less than 4 inches long, but with a mild handlebar. only a small upward curve, on the shorter side, with a faded undercut, a bit longer on top, between 6-8 inches
I grew a beard this year just for a change into executive my wife will not alow me to shave it she loves it so much i prefer the no guard stubble shave but the beard works too just alot more grooming involved then just going crazy with clippers.

I think very little of the beards referred to as patchy are more grooming decisions made for the beard to not be as heavy looking - I grow a full beard but choose to do more carved out looks to lighten the look
After 24 years clean shaven and twenty years before that having large facial growth, I have now become Father Christmas mistakenly shaved by beard 24 years ago due to the dislike by others including my father who always commented on it I am going to remain Father Christmas and never shave again I am now 61 years of age

Thats primal subconcious programming for thousands of years plus modern advanced trimming and barber options and technology. Women like to see the mouth. I am a 59 year old Male. I have never had a Beard nor will I ever grow one. I hate stubble also. I will always strive to get the smooth shaven look. The smooth shaven look makes me look younger. I also feel cleaner and more confident within myself. In my mind, beards and stubble look horrible and on some Men they look repulsive.
I have to have a beard. I have gone with the clean shaven look, and it makes my face both extremely round, as well as makes me look like I'm 12 all over again. my face doesn't even out until I get at least 2 inches in my beard, and then trim the sides down to elongate my face
