With the beard who looked somewhat slimer and less beefy than he does now. It does appear that Greg definitely eats his Wheaties!!!!

He has such a strong, masculine jaw, beautiful smile, well oriented upper and lower palette. I see NO reason to hide that handsome face behind scraggly beard and moustache hair. I understand when a man has weak bone structure but this fellow does not. He is truly exceptionally handsome.
I feel like maybe in his life he felt very insecure and you can see him also still feel it when he’s shaved. He seems scared for some reason. I will never understand how some people can be so scared of what others think.

With other people and their opinions. If you like the way you look in turn you generally feel better, that’s been proven. If everyone said he looked better without a beard but he felt better with a beard, if he didn’t grow a beard cause of that then yes you’d be rite. It’s about doin what you feel is best for you! I realize this post is over 4 yrs old, but I agree that it makes you look younger. The beard is nice, it always looks “dapper” but that’s bc you know how to groom your hair and beard! You do what you gotta do. I applaud your valuing your wife over your beard. As for me, due to getting a rash on my neck from shaving (convenient excuse - doctor verified for work), my last "full face shave" was May 10, 1975. This coming 5/10/2020 it will be 45 years old. I shave the neck and cheeks only once a week and trim the beard once a month. Fortunately, it fits in with my image: Scots Irish heritage, Philosophy teacher and mountain man re-creationist.
Without the beard Greg is just an ordinary good looking man. With a beard Greg is a character you look at twice. Dunno if beardless I would have come to his channel. Beard all the way.

I have had a full beard since I was 19. Im now 54. I grew it when beards weren't in style. But it has always been trimmed. Im now going for a longer fuller beard which I have never done.

Dear diary, today the op was a pretty cool guy...
Shaving the lower part was like ”ok thats different“, shaving the mustache was like ”who is that now?“
I nearly shed a tear myself for you GB. It’s a feeling I never want to experience. A barber ruined my moustache once whilst I was in the process of growing it out. Put me back 4 months and I was absolutely livid and distraught. Totally stupid thing to get so upset about I’m the grand scheme of things but it’s was the fact he sent me home with one side mowed and the side slightly trimmed. It wasn’t until I got in front of the mirror and thought “what the absolute f%#k have you done”. He still never agreed or admitted he had screwed up when I went back in to see him, just blamed it on me saying I hadn’t seen him for a couple of months and how was ‘he’ to know what I wanted to do…… that just made it worse of course. Still hurts to talk about it now as I really loved going there and enjoyed the company. (Plus my son loved going there). A big loss just because he wasn’t man enough to say ‘Jase, I’m so sorry I screwed up…..’
Anyway I digress. I have to be honest, it struck me that’s Mrs B wasn’t that keen on the clean look at the end either. Hope it didn’t take long to grow back.
