@@Dertlecup there’s no pre-set area where a beard line should be... in this case it was suited well to his facial structure and the beard has an ideal width. It firs him perfectly.
@@jvvaldivia7831 I see.. so how would u know if it's good for you? Is it perhaps more suited for the lighter beards that are still coming in? Coz mine is pretty dark and thick

#5 is the best trim in this video. Mutilation is not my thing. My beard is not thick, which I wish it was. I keep it manicured somewhat short, but not skin short so it can be brushed out or down.

I can’t find a competent beard person in my area (Clermont Fl.) I went to one barber I thought knew what he was doing. After telling him I was trying to grow my beard longer but just wanted some lines defined he proceeded with the first swipe to cut me back about three months growth. He didn’t listen about my hair either.

I don’t have an issue with women wanting to be barbers but if I had a choice I’d go with the person with a beard who can help me with maintaining my beard

@@macarenarojo if I had cancer I’d go to a doctor who specialises in cancer treatment. I personally prefer seeing a barber who is a male with a beard to help me maintain a beard I have had female barbers who have trimmed my beard but they have always said and I quote “I don’t know how to look after beards properly you’ll need to speak to a barber that has or has had a beard to help you with those questions” and they have been in doing barber work for years and have trained to work with beards but they don’t know how to maintain a beard at home
@@Brian-Hansenno I’m definitely trusting a man with my beard if I ever go to get it cut. Not a woman who doesn’t have a beard and can’t fully understand how to cut it.

#1 actually looked “not quite right” to me. I think it should've been about 1” longer and about 15% narrower.

i used to have a beard like that, about 50cm. for 4/5 years and everybody, litterally everybody was every day smashing my balls 'bout it, sayin that was too long, that i seemed a tramp, that i seemed Santa Claus, and a lot of other bullshit. i cut it almost all off.
