You are the best coach I have seen. I wish you would come to NJ and coach one of classes. Again definitely 1 of the top 5 best all around crossfire coach.
I was actually clapping for these people while sitting at my computer. . . Great work! Great coach! Great gym!!! I am NOT a DU expert by any means. But one thing I do when talking to guys at work that helped me is telling them to 'float' when they start their DU jump. This prevents the pike, and the donkey kick. So single, single, single, single, single, FLOAT, single, single, single, single, etc. Just throwing another word out there. . . Great work. A lot of fun to watch.
A lot that goes into doing the double-under is timing. I watched a lot of the pros doing double-unders at the CrossFit games and where the rope is when they start a double-under is different than when doing single-unders.
good stuff but, man, people sure can talk a lot of rubbish about which rope to use. Muhammed Ali or Sugar Ray Robinson didn't need these 'special' ropes
First 5 minutes. No Du tip, only wich rope to buy/use. Guy telling this got one meter long jumping rope, no god form at single unders at all. Second 5 minutes is a warm up. That isn't even funny. He shouldn't be a coach. He gave a cable speed rope for people who suck at double unders. That should be a crime! First two weeks of double under training should be only two things: Learning the first double under. Increasing the daily volume, and that is it. As a 17 years old who can do 2182 Unbroken double unders, I am sad of seeing 30 years old men who can maybe do 100-300 and think that they are a coach.
this dude is a bad teacher sorry dude. you are pretty condescending to your students almost to the point of teasing them and you don't explain mechanics or physics or manipulate body position.
