    Doing it barefoot shows next level commitment.
    The subject here also appears to whip his hands back and forward at the wrist which I've not seen before.

    This is great. Thank you for posting. Double unders frustrate me. I am doing the higher jump to clear the rope. Will practise the better technique

    I really like crossfit double unders. You can definitely feel it in your calves and in your forearms.

    I always wonder what the best length of the rope is. I am using a RPM Fitness speedrope.
    Thanks for your advise!!

    I severed an Achilles tendon doing DUs on a hard surface while barefoot. I'd recommend shoes to absorb the shock.

    Is there a certain type of rope I should use? Using a weighted rope right now and it's not working well. Any recommendations?

      Try this one: www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Guarantee-Available-CureSearch-Childrens/dp/B00TD75HMC/ref=sr_1_30?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1425351570&sr=1-30&keywords=jump+rope+crossfit It is high quality, great for double unders, and is a good price.

    how long should the rope be?

    • @shannonwestphal3848
      @shannonwestphal3848 7 років тому

      Markisen Marco stand on the middle of the rope with one foot, hold the handles up and the tops of the handles should go up to around your armpits. A bit longer is better for beginners, bit shorter for experienced people.
      There's a company called Double Under Wonder that you can order ropes based on your height.
