That magical "F" button to match frame is golden!! This was lost on me for a very long time, sadly. It is such a useful tool for the kind of workflow I currently have.
These tutorials are amazing, thank you for making them. I'm a complete beginner at editing and using Resolve, and this is going to make my life a lot more efficient.
🎉 WOW, the dynamic project switching just made my life so easy because I need to jump between projects all the time. As always great tips. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I religiously watch your tips videos everyday cause there really are techniques that make my workflow wayyyy faster😮 DaVinci Resolve really is a "knowledge" based game😮💨
Mate. You have nailed it with this video tutorial. Thank You! I have been doing everything the long hard way until you gave me these tricks. Saved so much time and my editing flow is now smoother and faster. Great work , you have my Sub and will be watching all your other videos. Great tutorial. The show clip function in my Media bin has helped me so much. Keep them coming.
Great video, I've already subscribed. I do have a question though. If you have Live save option turned on, doesn't it cancel your template timelines? Or does opening it on read only mode kinda negates the Live save option?
Awesome video, I would add a tip that you can also show how to do auto-upload to youtube for time saving; and show how if you use the markers you can add marker names for youtube chapters. Then when you upload, at rendor for YT options choose 'labels as chapters' and it'll upload the video with chapter breaks at same time. Can add thumbnail too. That tip plus the tricks you shared are a great 1-2 punch.
I usually duplicate the template project, but I found it often led to the close of the program or freeze of the program if you try to change some default elements on my template timeline. I will try the read only mode next time! Thanks for reminding me the option.
@George Kamenov Hello, you have an error in the video resolution, it must be 3840x2160, otherwise black bars appear at the top and bottom like in this video
That's completely intentional. I edit and export my videos with a 2:1 aspect ratio which is something that helps when viewing on mobile, plus I like the way it looks 😅
Rule Number 1: You never upload a 'tricks and tips' video without having timestamps of each tip and trick. Now you force us to watch the whole video and try to distinguish which is a different trick/tip. Disliked.
That's rule number 2, rule number 1 is: this is literally my channel and I'm the one that gets to decide if I want any of my videos to have time stamps or not 😂 later ✌️
Haven't subscribed to anyone in months but you've got a new subscriber now! Thank you for these helpful tutorials! You're a pro.

is this possible in the other direction? how to search for a clip from media Pool in timeline?
My go to Resolve guy 🙌
Now all you have to do is have a reason to use it 😂
Thanks bro nice tricks , u Can use Power Bins to save ur Assets so u can use it for any project
I already have a video about that.
Thank you 💪💪💪💪
Great stuff as always mate. Definitely use these in my next editing sesh!
Happy to help! 🙂
Great video, I've already subscribed. I do have a question though. If you have Live save option turned on, doesn't it cancel your template timelines? Or does opening it on read only mode kinda negates the Live save option?
Read only mode directly opens up a copy of your template so live save will only apply to that copy and not the original template project 🙂
thanks!

What a F**king LEGEND !!!

Happy to help! And yeah, might be worth a shot to do it with read only instead 😁
@@georgekamenov_ This problem has been exiting for two or three versions DR. I still think it's a bug.

too difficult to watch cause of fleshy transations. Just letting you know.
Nice tips but your video transitions are annoying in a dark room late at night 😄😎
