    Dude it's literally taken me two months of having Davinci and searching tutorials to find some of these features that I knew I needed and also NEVER knew I needed. Thank you so much for this, especially the zooming in and out on the timeline feature and the CTRL + SHIFT + comma / period feature. Game changers.

    I've been watching your videos on Davinci for a while now. I never thought I would subscribe to your channel. Not until I learned about the keyframes, holy hell. I've been manually easing in my keyframes for WEEKS, and now there's a much easier solution. Thank you from the U.S, Alex!

    I clicked on like every time you showed a tip that I didn’t know and that I was glad to know about. So I think I clicked about nine times. I don’t know how this UA-cam thing works, but I’m sure somewhere deep in the algorithm this helped out your channel 😊 Keep it up!

    The right clicking tip for keyframes is a lifesaver, No more having to open the mini edit page curves tabs that extend the timeline height too much. I was begging for something like fusions spline editor for the edit page , but this, this is gonna save me so much hassle.

    I always appreciate the brevity of your explanations. You don't waste time getting to the point! Some of your tips were familiar others I had no clue about. I use 3 monitors and the speed editor so some are not applicable. I guess the majority of your viewers use a single monitor/laptop and only have a mouse and keyboard. Either way, there is always something to learn on this channel.

    To save even more space, you can hide whole page navigation bar, under Workspace-Show Page Navigation. All pages have shortcuts (starting with Shift+2) and you can redefine them to anything even more suitable.

    The trick at seven minutes is quite useful. On the Avid they have that command. I have never found it in Premiere. Thank you for showing it to me. On a Mac it is Shift & Apple. Click on the clip. Hold Shift + apple then the comma move highlighted clip to the tail of the next clip, Shift + apple + period moves clip to head of preceeding clip. Super useful. Thank you so much!!

    Definitely one of your best videos… Probably didn’t know about 30%. So thanks. But when you said… I can see you are rushing to eliminate the icon for the cut page… That was hysterical. Because that’s what everybody was doing. I rarely go into the cut page, every once in a while. But I’m old-school… I love the edit page. The only thing I love about the cut page is turning the footage into source and being able to skim through everything.
    Here’s a question for you, in Fairlite, you can EQ a track, but what if I only want to EQ a single clip…? Thanks for the good work.

    • @MrAlexTech
      @MrAlexTech  2 роки тому

      Thank you Allen :) I too much prefer the Edit page!
      For EQ, highlight the clip within Fairlight, open the Inspector (top right - usual spot) and there's EQ within there :)

    There is another tasty feature on the color page involving the middle scroll feature of your mouse. On your preview window, click on the three dots in the upper right. Choose “Gang viewer zoom with video output”. Then when you scroll to zoom in or out, your color monitor mirrors your preview window. To reset it just right click and select “Zoom to fit”. Unfortunately the Gang viewer option doesn’t stay activated when you leave your session and come back in, so you have to activate it every time you open your project (hint hint Resolve programmer’s..).
