Wow. This video just popped up on my recommended and I've learned so much. The fact that you explain and also frequently demonstrate the knowledge within the actual video is fantastic and displays your competence well. This is going to help me add so much extra thought to my editing with minimal extra work. You earned another sub today.
One of the best tutorials on you tube, I ever seen, I am beginner filmmaker, and learning so many tricks from your channel mate,,keep it up,Mate, support from Australia 🇦🇺..
I like big nuts and I cannot lie! You otha brothas can´t deny. That when Al walks in wit a itty bitty waist an 2 round things in yo face: You get SPRUNG!
Using transitions to move text and stuff about on screen! Top tip. Can't wait to edit my next video and jazz it up a bit. You should look at boxing these videos up as a pack for download. Off on 4 hr plane journey soon, need something to watch on my tablet. Thanks.
Alex, this is an absolute game changer. I’ve not long been doing editing but I love your channel, and this is brilliant. I’m literally sat at the computer editing a festival I filmed at the weekend. Will be on my channel in the next couple of days, so if you could let me know how I’ve done, I’d appreciate it. Thanks mate you’re a legend 💯🙌🏼
im failry new to Davinci and 3:45 just safed my butt :D i was not able to figure this out myself i was on the brink of beeing insane !!! thanks mage, greetings from germany
Well... this is the only channel I have the bell active! At this moment I am editing a video... and implementing what just learned! Thanks Bro! (Woa... what a monster, your new PC)
@@MrAlexTech Having a few strange issues with DR 17 this week. I pulled in the Binocular effect and was unable to remove it from the clip. YEAH, I had to delete the time line and start over.
Why do I remember this same your vidoe last week? Anyway, really useful one. And your manigier lens is saving really my time and life editing a tons of videos, so thank you again^^ I'm so much adding options to my vidoes that DaVinci resolve continue to invite me to buy the premium version...and II'm only playing little^^
Great, Great video!!! F.Y.I You should start using end screens to lead people to your next videos. I think that would help out your views a lot more, as well as watch time! Just a suggestion
Unrelated to the video but 2022 lighting recommendations for talking head/camera shots for tutorial type videos? I do Linux videos and am looking to add a camera soon so I'm not just a screen recording.
This is great. In your Resolve push in example do you know a way to apply motion blur using the slider without it creating a dark border? Same happens when applying push with motion blur to solids etc.
Hey Alex at 3:22 you used the Trim tool to create an overlap. I've got a Clip that's not getting overlapped using the same method. Can you give any Explanation.
It's awesome! Apart from all the tricks I've learnt also some basic helpful ones like setting a chosen transition as standard. I didn't know how to do it. I wonder if there's a way to add a transition of our choice to all the cuts in our project at once without applying them individually?? I also can't figure out how to copy dynamic zoom settings from one clip to another. For some reason it doesn't seem to work via copy attributes.
Hi :) I discovered that the problem of applying effects when we have the beginning and end of a clip can be solved by spreading the clips apart, then applying the effect and combining the clips. This doesn't make sense to me, so why can't it be done with connected clips?
Ok, Im sorry if this isnt the place and thank you for anyone that has a solution to my problem. But Im rather new and VERY stuck. Ive got three clips and I want to use one transition to transition from "clip A" right to "clip C" while still fading clip B along the way. Hope this isnt too confusing. Thanks to any and all in advance.
Dang it, man. Your videos are so freakin solid. If you don't like MrAlexTech you're wrong. That's just the facts.
Haha! Casey, your vids are also freaking solid!

So can you change the animation speeds on fusion transitions?
how do you make it so that when you have multiple softs in your soft roll; you arent interfereing with another soft like accidentally
Thanks!

Mine don't operate this way. The transition is not rectangular but has a weird shape with lips on either side. You can't expand them.
alex can you save the solid color transiton as a favorite to use over and over or you have to recreate each time.. thanks
tnx Sir!!
Cont apply the rtx settings. I have rtx4090 but I don't have this encode option. How to fix it?
