Hi, love your honest videos. You’re a good lad and I’m a new subscriber.. bit old I am at 63. I have to watch the money. Could you do a few Lidl tins revues .. their beans and sausages..mince in can.. and the stewed steak. It becomes expensive for us to choose. Everything costs so much as you get older. I can’t even get savoury duck these days.. 3 would last me a week. Take care and thank you for being normal and doing amazing videos. “ Silvo” now old😂👍👍

I'd never think of this for regular eating at home but stash one in the freezer for an emergency, or take them camping, and they're not bad. I think it compares favourably against the Tesco All Day breakfast (350g, 440 cal compared to this with 450g/675cal), or the ones in tins which nowadays cost over £2 and are mostly beans, tomato and water. The total percentage of sausage + bacon slice + bacon and egg bite in a tin of Hunger Breaks all day brekkie is just 22%.

When we lived in America we used to to "Mom & Pop" diners for breakfast and hash browns (and home fries) WERE breakfast - often with a fried egg on top and a side of bacon - all for 99 cents. This was this century. In England we still make hash browns - shredded potatoes - not those nasty triangle things, or home fries with breakfast but we include black pudding, tomato and fried bread. We have our cardiologist on speed-dial.

That was good value for what you`re paying and two goes for a single person(it would also go well with a pile of chips and mushrooms and Beans). I reckon if they used more expensive ingredients and charged more it would sell as it still works out cheaper than buying whole packs of sausages etc if your cooking for one or on a tight budget.

For £2.50 ? Not bad at all.
I’m not a lover of HB’s, but I’ll eat them at a push.
Yeah, some beans, fried bread, maybe some bubble and squeak if available, mushrooms and a couple of fried eggs and your good to go.
For health reasons I stay away from fried foods. But a fry up for a breakfast is a must treat on a Sunday. I do mine in a big pan with beef dripping. Yum yum.
Sometimes I will have fresh fried tomatoes and sometimes tinned as they go well on some fried bread. Add some nicely buttered tiger bread to mop up with and I’m in breakie Heaven 👼👼.

Hi Gareth, Thanks for sharing your honest review 👍 but I think it would be a lot cheaper to get the ingredients & do it yourself 👍✨

Looks alright that, but it would be overkill for me, don't like black pudding or hash browns, but I'll have a look on their website, see what else they do..... Cheers.

Nip down to Asda and try one of their fresh curries 3 for £7.50. They are top notch and same price as this. Good choice of chicken tikka etc.

Cumberland (style) sausage? Hit it up with ground pepper and tomato sauce, you could eat a sandshoe with that, lol.

Looks alright that. Good value, if they hadn't bigged up the saus--agge with the Cumberland tag that would have been a top heavy 9/10, slap em all into a crusty buttered roll, tom sauce or hp. Laughing 🥳🥳

Think if you look again gaz the sausage only contains 27% pork I may be wrong but I’m sure it says that mate 🤦🏼‍♂️

Yes had a look 45% pork or 44% 27% is the Sausages content of the dish I think. 42 % is minimum in UK anyway. Richmond etc

I am concerned about the hair plugs issue. My first reaction was - he's having a laugh. I mean, what would you call the channel if the hair plugs take off? What is going on? I just don't know any more.

Gareth, I know sometimes you don't look forward to my comments, I can be a little blunt sometimes I know... First though, I hope your squaddie pal recovers from his coma 🙏.. I lost a few friends during my time in the forces and I hate knowing that others are suffering....
Now... That meal in a bag actually surprised me at first, what with all that you get for less than £3 ..but then all that salt brother...such a turn off, i know its used as a preservative, but that is ridiculous, and those sausages, well where do i begin.. was happy to see you didn't cook the whole thing, and proceed to eat it all...✌️

@@nigel8499 PGI is full of loopholes. One of the biggest examples is the Cornish pasty. Food manufacturers simply added extra words to get around it. There are now Cornish Style Pasties, Cornish Inspired Pasties, and many more.
