May 18 Back to Deep Creek

It's been a few years since I spent the day at the creek. Too many people were at the hot springs, so I headed upstream. The water was running a bit cold for a swim, but the weather was mild. The weathers warming up! So planning on a swim next time out!

Man rudedog your the best I been watching your video for 15 years back in the days when you had the Ford f350 v10 cuz I had the same truck. Still watching your videos and loving them ..maybe another 15 more years if the world don't go crazy.

Many years ago I remember only paying $1.00 per vehicle to go thru the ranch to get to the parking area to start the hike into the hot springs. A lot of good memories. I’m 73 now and don’t think I could make that hike again. My what 50+ years will do to your body! Good to see you’re getting back out and about. My next adventure/bucket list is to go to Saline Valley. Hope I live long enough to make it there. Thanks for sharing.

I've aways gone to Saline Valley for Memorial Day but my last time was in October. The weather was perfect!

Nice adventure Glad you had the opportunity to get out of the neighborhood. Those hiking sandals will make your feet sore, keep rockin' barefoot.

Since I been back to work, I haven't had the time for barefoot hikes in the local hills. My feet getting soft, need carry them sandals on long walks. It's starting to warmup out here and you don't want to be out barefoot when the ground gets hot!

Is there a lot of construction on the I-15 at the Cajon pass? The new Bowen Ranch has good looking web page. 🤑

I didn't notice any, but it was foggy! I think "New Bowen Ranch" will make the hot springs overcrowded! More garbage and no toilets down at the creek.
