Man, playing bastion and hearing “build That wall” for the first time was an out of body experience. Then hearing the final theme? Can’t put it in words. Darren is a genius and Ashley is an Angel.
These two always leave me in awe at the level of incredible skill they have. Ashley with her voice and acting skills, and Darren Korb for writing and producing some of the best music I've ever heard while also voice acting and singing. I wish the absolute best for everyone at Supergiant Games!
Hades was the first game since transistor where I just paused and listened. I think that is what is really the hallmark of SGG's games, actionpacked but still giving you moments where you totally forget that you just killed a huge monstrosity and fought for your dear life.
Just played through Hades and Im looking at some other supergiant games before Hades 2 gets released and I LOVE good Riddance and so many other songs by Ashley (Eurydice) and Darren (Orpheus). So beautifully melancholy

When I heard Ashley's voice for first time in Transistor for first time I was like "So, NOW I can say that I like videogame soundtracks without any kind of shame to anyone". Yeah... Talking about shame in 2024, lol...
The 2 deslikes on this video are from peopple that are already dead emotionaly and are so empty inside that needs to show theyrs bittery for everybody someway.
Its the way he play, squeaks between chord changes are normal but if its too loud mean he's putting too much pressure...palm muting helps a lot in this case too.
