My initial research I found that a 32GB memory card is the recommended size, mixed reviews online I did find a couple people on Amazon were saying that a 128 worked some said a 64 would not, so I installed the factory recommended card. When I do an update next week after using a while I will try a few different sizes just to see what works. Could brand issues or even the recording speed of the memory cards that are causing the reviews.
UPDATE AFTER VIDEO: I TRIED A 64GB WORKED PERFECT, I TRIED A 256GB "ONN" WALMART BRAND CARD AND HAD TO FORMAT IT 3 TIMES BUT ONCE IT FORMATTED WORKS PERFECT.
13+ HOURS ON 1080P, 28+ HOURS ON VGA!

That's a USB to mini USB. Exactly what I been looking for. Every other review they just show the cord, they don't show what the connector is. Whether its USB mini or USB micro. Micro USB is the older type that most android phones use. Samsung switched over to USB Type C from the USB Micro.

Hi. My camera won't start recording it keeps saying to format the sd card which I already did. I even used my pc to format the card. My card is brand new at 32 gb. Please help.

I wish they have a suction cap that allows the camera be taken off with ease, leaving the cap on the windshield.
The Nextbase 222 and above come with a suction cup that stays attatched to the windshield and the camera is magnetic. I have had one suction cup actually tear and not stick have had better luck using the glue on mount. Thanks for watching, hope that helps.
Can you please explain what you mean when you say it will record five minutes at a time with loop recording? Sounds like it will automatically do loop recording as long as this is NOT set to off. And the numbers just say how long each file will be, yes?
That is correct, it will record for 5 minute clips, when the memory card is full it will start looping back over the old data. This is usually not a bad thing on a dash camera since it is usually used for recording an accident or something to do with your vehicle. But if for instance you wanted to go on a "Road Trip" and record the data, you would want to turn off the loop so it would not over write the data, just if the memory card gets full will not record anything. @@FourKnown Glad to hear it helped, I have one in every vehicle, and on my motorcycles, I'm in Myrtle Beach about everyday and being a tourist town accidents here all the time. I'm picking different cameras each time and honestly the 30-50.00 Walmart Cameras seem to be as good as the 200-300 dollar cameras.
How do you set the motion detector?
When the car is off, but with both Parking Mode and G-Sensor on -- will this drain out the car battery?
If your lighter is a key on accessory like most new cars then no. It only saves enough power for about 10 minutes of recording. Now if your vehicle lighter is "hot" all the time, it could possibly drain the battery but the unit is so small it barely consumes enough power. The only way would be if the car sat for days and was where something was moving constantly in front of it.

it only records for an hour at a time? is that right?
No you can change the length of the video clips to make it easier to find things in the menu. If you’re using a small Sd card like an 8Gb and the camera is set maximum resolution it will save less total time but have segmented video clips and just over write when the card is full. I’d recommend at least a 256gb data card, will give you at least 12 hours of recording at camera max settings. Thanks for watching

@@xxsajjadxx9677 I think the package says "64gb" max but I have a 256 in mine and it works fine.
The key is for the S-D card.
Actually the key is to reset it. The sd card doesn't need any device to remove it, you just push down with your finger nail and it pops out. I believe your thinking of SIM cards in mobile phones. They need this pin to remove the SIM trey. But on this camera, if you look at the bottom of it, there's a small pin hole with 'RES' by it, meaning reset.
How do I know my SD card has been formatted?
