I have the Same Dashcam C450. What is the loop mode for, and why does my dashcam get hot when plugged in to outlet, i paid $69 Here in Canada. It won't turn on unless the Power is plugged in.
The loop mode is how long you want each recorded loop to be. So if your SD card will record 30 minutes worth of video you would six 5 min loops rather than one long 30 min video. If that makes sense. As far as camera goes, I think the battery is not very good. I had to keep mine plugged in as well.

Think M stands for Mode like camera mode and recording mode or replay mode. I got this camera for Christmas and the manual is just too much to understand so this video is really great! Thank you sir and be safe driving them rigs 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The instruction book this camera comes with is the worst. Doesn't explain much of anything. After much frustration and trying to figure it out, I went to UA-cam. Here again... more frustration from crappy explanations and wasted time with other UA-camrs. Then I came upon yours. Thank you sir for the great tutorial. I now have confidence in forging forward with my setup.

I have the mini version of this cam which always turns off when I have the gravity sensor on anything above low, so I try to keep it on that but hopefully this one doesn't do that because I want to use it as my main cam and my old one as my rear cam

I have an Apeman C450 camera and it does a fantastic job, except for 1 thing: the SD card Sandisk 32GB (I first formatted it) is now full of files, but the device will not overwrite the files, but I get the message that the card is full. I have Loop recording at 5 minutes. What am I doing wrong? (G-sensor and parking function are off)
You turn on what they call the gravity sensor and when the car or truck gets bumped the gravity sensor tells the camera to mark that loop and save it so it can't be written over. You will have to adjust the gravity sensor level by playing with the level so the camera won't mark loops when you hit a bump in the road.
Hi all, maybe someone here would know :) I have a Class A RV with a flat window, no angles whatsoever, will this fit or i can install it on the dashboard and it will hold? As the attaching clip seems to be on top. Thanks !
I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. The lock button, when you push it it beeps once, when you hold it it beeps a few times. How do you lock in your video, do you hold it or push it?

What video resolutions can be set? 1080p and 720p or is there also 480p? Because I would need a cam capable of recording at least 9 hours on a 64gb sd, if I could how many mb is a single 1080/720/480 video I would be extremely grateful

I have not noticed one. But I do drive a 2012 Volvo that has rattles 😂😂🤦♂️ so I might not hear it. I am going to be upgrading again soon just to try something else for the hell of it.
It will save as many 5 min loops as you SD card will allow. So if your SD card will hold 60 min of video you will have 12 five minute loops before it circles around and records over the first loop. But yes eventually it will record over it.
from my understanding.. if the gravity setting is off.. then yes.. if loop is on every video will be recorded over itself. leave loop on.. leave gravity on.. with gravity on and you get into a wreck it is supposed to auto lock that video so it doesn't get recorded over.. the only thing i dont know is which level of gravity is sensitive enough to lock the video in a wreck without being over sensitive.. like if you hit a pot hole and it makes the video lock. i would guess keep it on low..

Great video explanation! So what happens if you get in an accident? Do you have to remember to stop it so it does not loop over the footage?

think that's just power save mode
When ur screen turns off and the blue light is ticking it mean it’s still recording as long as the blue light is ticking

I believe this one can only carry a 32gd sd card if that helps
