By the time I reach the conclusion of SB and saw the Exarch, I kinda had a feeling that this is someone we supposed know. Not really reliable but I trust my instinct XD. Upon closer inspection I realized the model for the face has a very Miqo structure to it, so i'm a bit more suspicious. Then when I watched the trailer for ShB for the first time, and saw the crystal tower, it just clicked! So yeah! Im pretty sure a lot of people had guessed it already, Its just a matter of the Exarch trying his best to hide the fact till the end to confirm it XD
Yeah, and honestly because of his default standing pose, i called it from the start because, well, crystal towers stuff. But also, i'm glad i'm not the only one rewatching people's reaction to this trailer
How... How can i watch this trailer multiple times, over varying lapses in time, and still.. I cry watching it, i get hyped all over again and its like the feeling i got seeing it the first time never left or diminished. God, i love this game so much.
It's just that good a trailer, Mr. Bango. You can tell what massive geeks the team are for their own characters and lore. That's why they know exactly how to push our buttons.

It hits super hard for me, i was lucky enough to be there for the Las Vegas fanfest during this reveal and the energy in that room was nothing but pure electricity. Everyone sparking off each other and screaming their heads off at every little details, gasps, tears. It was unlike anything id experienced... and watching these damn reveals from other places around the world still makes me misty eyed.

ShB is great, SB great, but overall, for now, HW remains our fav. subjective of course. one thing that stands out for casual players like us, is the Trust system in ShB though. That element of ShB is superior to sketchy DF randoms. of course, I'm quite certain, sometimes, the sketchy DF random, is me
Holy cow... even after all this time.. the feels, the excitement.. knowing it's the best thing that ever happened.. it still feels like the day and weeks I played it. And it's even better with the crowd cheering, like you are live there yourself!! Gives it a complete new dimension!!
I was thinking the same, I went on a reaction spree for this again because of Endwalker (it's a shame there's no audience reactions this time due to covid), and most of them were really excited when they saw the Viera Dancer but not this crowd.
You coukd hear the guys scream... And the girls went all silent.... probably because the Viera's body was something that is considered an ideal in Korea and also something uncomfortable for the girls present there. I think it is a safe assumption to say that there are a lot of Korean chicks playing on the korean servers.

Not quite. From what I've seen, there are differences in lip sync between the English and Japanese versions, but this Korean version here seems to be using the exact same lip movements as the Japanese version.

Now that story Yoshi-P started telling with 2.0 is done, I have no idea how he and his team are going to possibly top Shadowbringers. They knocked it out of the park so far I don't know if they CAN top it, but that's ok.
I am excited for Dawntrail, don't get me wrong. But I have a hard time believing that they can ever top the feeling, the vibe and the hype I got and still get from this trailer. It is just so damn perfect. Even Endwalker - while exceptionally emotional and amazing in it's own right, and the perfect continuation/close to that storyline - didn't hit as hard and as good as shadowbringers. Especially when it comes to the trailer. The music, the buildup, the style and aesthetic/theme... Just on another level.

The Titan trial was one of the reasons made me love FFXIV more. The song and the excitement I got from the mechanics were such a really good experience like I still remember how I screamed at my screen when I did late reactions xD

Hi! I started playing FFXIV last year. It took me a long while to finish ARR but after I did it, I got caught with the story hard. I finished Shadowbringers a few days ago and it’s worth it. Never rush your time with the game so you can enjoy it! Take breaks because the MSQ can get draining but once you get there, one of the best stories I have ever playedz
I got into this game way late--had no idea it was available on console for the longest time. So I'm gonna be sad if they stop expanding on it anytime soon. It's the best MMO I've ever played, and the only one I've ever stuck with.

Honestly I got Ghoosethumbs in some Moments, and I didn't know the story & Characters, just Y'shtola and Alphinaud (just from Dissidia FF Opera Omina). But I saw the trailer allready.

It's not done actually. Most likely the next expansion will wrap up Zodiark and Hydaelyn.
I think he said one time that the Zodiark arc is still going for max 2 expansions. So next expansion could rly be the last one about Zodiark.

Honestly I got Ghoosethumbs in some Moments, and I didn't know the story & Characters, just Y'shtola and Alphinaud (just from Dissidia FF Opera Omina).
But I saw the trailer allready.
