Are we not gonna talk about how otamatones can play perfectly clean songs and sounds but he CHOSE to play TWO AT ONCE slightly off so it is meme worthy? He is a legend. A king.
The best part is it's HIS music. Man composed legendary soundtracks just to get on stage and perform it offkey using two meme instruments. You can actually hear him reflexively go back to singing/playing on key before he forces himself back to playing wrong.
idk. the one i got is pretty flimsy and hard to get anything accurate tbh. mostly got it as a joke so it doesnt bother me much, but if thats the standard, its actually insanely impressive how accurate he harmonized playing two at the same time.

I agree but depending on the type of cancer it is better or worst, and at least it is not a prion disease, there is no cure for prions since they are just misfolded proteins, which causes them to be degenerative diseases with no cure

There is no "beating" cancer. Only putting it on "pause".

1) Partial Remission: The cancer is still there, but you are "taking a break" from treatment, and you have to keep the cancer in check. Thinking of it in a "cronic" state.
2) Complete Remission: All traces of your cancer is gone.
Dose this mean you are "cured"? No, but it means that you have to keep checking, and if "reoccurance", or if the cancer comes back, it usually does within the first 5 years after first diagnosis or treatment.
So. In a way, yes, he has beaten cancer, however not in the 'absolute' sense, you are talking about.

@@EveryTimeV2 with Medicine the way it is, living with cancer is manageable. Looking at my dad who had stage 4 prostate cancer that had spread back in 2001. He's still doing fine to this day

This is why I've invested hundreds of dollars into headphones and amplifiers, so I can hear music the way the artist intended for it to be heard!
There's something charming about seeing two professionally dressed musicians on the stage with the performer, a highly regarded composer, not just being able to not only play the instrument of ridiculous sounds, but he took the time to learn every note to relay this perfection and then the pianist just stays silent and still, but adds into the chaos
Props to the camera crew / editor for fantastic overlaying and editing as well cuz that one zoom and the panning from keiko to soken was amazing and killed me

Masayoshi Soken is a meme, a god of music, a far harder worker than I could ever aspire to be and a perfect IRL embodiment of a Warrior of Light.
I have taken him with me on all my adventures so far, he will join me on my next adventure and hopefully all adventures to come. Hydaeleyns blessings upon him and may he ever walk in the light of the crystal.

As a musician myself though, the best part is when he starts harmonizing the main melody with both the otamatones lol. I literally almost spit out my coffee from laughing when I first watched this lol.

I am so glad this man is able to be with us still, after the diagnosis of cancer and writing To the Edge from the hospital bed effectively. He revealed it at the end of the show and everyone broke down into tears. This man is a treasure.
