I don't even know to unpack how hard this hit. The sheer talent, the layers of instruments, the VARIETY of instruments, the skill at playing, the vocals.. It was like a roller coaster going through each transition, but without any slow points or lows, just more highs. You could FEEL the passion coming through from all these people. There was so much it was overwhelming. I was brought to tears.
I'm really curious what soken thinks about when he hears this. That has to be one of the most soul-fulfilling feelings in the world, to know how much time and effort you put into something and to see it celebrated by so many people all over. Amazing
When everyone was singing the end of footfalls, I had my eyes closed and was humming along...but when Ariah came roaring in with Anabaseios, it snapped me upright in my chair and gave me that good frisson.

This is a Collab the Warrior of Light would put down, in proud Bardic fashion. 5:36 - The Shadowbringers Transition....everything following. I was big on Final Fantasy 8 and it's jazzy renditions, to hear Amaurot again....God I love this series, and bless every fan out there who puts out jams like this. I love the Wayward Daughter emphasis, not only is it a banger, but it's perfect musically to include lots of people for the same track without losing individual performances in the mix.

Wow! This was chill inducing, and I don't even play FF14. Soken and his team would be extremely proud listening to this, I have no doubt. The Soken reference at 7:00 had me dying and I'm sure even he'd get a laugh out of it. 0:45-5:35 was nonstop greatness especially. I see why the devs actually want to meet up with the fans whenever they can; this community is insanely passionate about the game. Amazing work to all involved.

I stumbled on that video by a complete random recommendation. And I never played XIV before. But I was glued to my screen and my speakers. This was the most amazing collaboration I've seen. Man I F&$%ing love when communities come together and do stuff like this. I'd like to think that at some point everyone here has at least done MSQs, dungeons, trials and even done raids together. Some of it was tough to learn the first time through, but looking back and seeing how far we have come made it so worth it. The Saxophone guy got me vibing hard. Reminded me of "Eggplants and cucumbers" from GTO or even "wandering flame" from FFX. Favourite part of the performance; he's great and made me enjoy the entire track to a whole new level. Fucking amazing.

Listening to this had me thinking of the many struggles we as warriors of light have overcome together and the way we come together to mourn the passings of those who have given us joy, the fan fests over the years, the parties in towns or even inside raids as we listen to the newest music provided for us. I'm so happy for this community and seeing so many talented musicians/singers coming together... ngl... I was tearing up in places.

I love the Wayward Daughter emphasis, not only is it a banger, but it's perfect musically to include lots of people for the same track without losing individual performances in the mix.

Thank you Husky for allowing me to be a part of a collaboration of this magnitude; especially for my first time! I dreamed of bringing both my passions of bass playing & gaming together. The beautiful 10 minutes above show this dream realized in Mothercrystal clear reality! And to the fellow musicians from every corner of The Source, The First, The Thirteenth, & all the other stars, it was an supreme honor & privilege to be here with so many other like-minded, badass Warriors of Music. Wow! This was chill inducing, and I don't even play FF14. Soken and his team would be extremely proud listening to this, I have no doubt. The Soken reference at 7:00 had me dying and I'm sure even he'd get a laugh out of it. 0:45-5:35 was nonstop greatness especially. I see why the devs actually want to meet up with the fans whenever they can; this community is insanely passionate about the game. Amazing work to all involved.

But I was glued to my screen and my speakers. Unbelievable performance by all the amazing people in that video ! Goddamn it was good. Music is such a beacon in our life, and that community collaboration just proved that !

This was the most amazing collaboration I've seen. Man I F&$%ing love when communities come together and do stuff like this. I'd like to think that at some point everyone here has at least done MSQs, dungeons, trials and even done raids together. Some of it was tough to learn the first time through, but looking back and seeing how far we have come made it so worth it. Thank you all for the great memories we made and shared together, and hopefully we will have many more to come. Thank you to everyone who helped make this! My heart goes out to you all.

Listening to this had me thinking of the many struggles we as warriors of light have overcome together and the way we come together to mourn the passings of those who have given us joy, the fan fests over the years, the parties in towns or even inside raids as we listen to the newest music provided for us. I'm so happy for this community and seeing so many talented musicians/singers coming together... ngl... I was tearing up in places.
