These mayonnaise biscuits worked perfectly! Delicious and don't even taste like mayo, they just have a slight hint of sweetness from the sugar, they are really pleasant. Make them if you don't have any bread on hand, the recipe is like magic
I discovered these a couple of years ago and they are yummy. I make them all the time. Just make sure you use your favorite mayonnaise, it makes a difference. I'm a Duke's mayonaise girl🙂.

Dear gussie, biscuits, and just make them with mayonnaise? I’m all about this! They looked so delicious, and so fast, I can’t believe it. As usual, you blow my mind, Paula! Thanks for another awesome recipe. ⚡️💖⚡️
My mother used to make chocolate cake with mayonnaise. It sounds crazy but it was an easy and moist chocolate cake. A lot of my grandmother's recipes are from WWII when there was rationing and also because they lived in northern Maine and in the winter fresh items were hard to get so they used a lot of canned / jarred items.
I made these biscuits for breakfast this morning. I ate them with butter and sorghum syrup. They were very good. However, it took 20 minutes to bake thoroughly.
Paula, these are the biscuits I was raised on. Only my mom spooned them into a cast iron skillet that was greased and warmed in the oven. My favorite biscuits 'cause that's how Mom made them, she's gone now but I can make her biscuits and gravy just like she did makes me feel close to her.
