I had been wanting homemade biscuits for awhile now and I tried your recipe and that turned out to be really good thank you for making the video and happy holidays
I made this today, like literally just ate the first one. Here are some thoughts - I used salted butter, 1/4 tsp of salt & 1 tbsp of sugar. Biscuits came out great! Soft, flaky, and buttery. Not too salty at all. I wasn’t prepared how sticky it would be and added a lot more flour to get that smooth finish. It didn’t seem to impact the final outcome. I also used powered butter milk. All you have to do is add water. Still got the great buttermilk flavor. Grating the butter takes a lot of elbow grease. I had half sticks and decided to just cut the second half and use the pastry cutter to break it down. Butter was probably still a little lumpy but again it didn’t impact the final outcome. Grater not worth it because a lot of the butter gets stuck to the grater and just becomes a waste to me. Overall, great intro for me into biscuit making. I’ll continue to enhance my technique.
As I just typed a paragraph explaining you should tell us the ingredients in the video you said it🤯🤗now the only 2 other major ingredients I'm missing is a home and a kitchen😭😭😭🙏

2:1:1 YYEEESSSSAAHHHHAAAAAAA. OOOOMMMGGGGG. So it’s the week-end and I knew somehow your recipe would work so I tried it. I am so PROUD of myself. It came out PERFECT!! Muscle bound vegetarian husband ate all of it except 1 which was the last one I had to make a drop biscuit because it was smaller. THHAANNNK YOU. You were PERFECT in teaching. I kept stressing out when you didn’t say what I needed but by the end you said EVERYTHING, even the ungreased pan, 3” cutter etc….😂😂😂. Wish I could show you. BLESSINGS TO YOU and FAMILY❣️
I am ready for my church shout! 💃🏾 👏🏾
LOL, LOVE IT
OMG!!! THANK YOU!!! For over 23 years I have tried making every kind of biscuit and never finding what I love until now. Thank you so much for the easy but most delicious biscuit.
I can’t believe how good these came out, yummy, super effortless, flaky, soft, and a little crunchy. The only downside it was a little sour i assume because of the butter milk ☺️❤️
I love the tang of buttermilk in my biscuits! That's how my Mama and Grandmother's made them! 😊
OMG… I made these today… And baby… They taste just like Popeyes chicken biscuits!!! Yum yum yum 😋… So Good!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much for this exact recipe Mother's Day is right around the corner and instead of buying biscuits I can make them homemade !
Oh my...I LOVE buttermilk biscuits. My mom or dad would make a big batch on Sunday mornings, with cream gravy, and bacon. This is the smell I would wake up to. To this day I still love homemade buttermilk biscuits, and these look wonderful! Thank you for taking me back home❤️
I work with grown grown men who don't know how to cook and I've been forwarding recipes to them. I think they could handle this one.
Send em to KFC🤗
Lmfaooooooooo “I think they could handle this one” 😩😂😂😂😂
This is a simple as can be recipe for biscuits that have turned out amazing every single time for me. It’s the grating of the butter (I use salted) that makes it what it is! Do not skip or work around that step! I also use every bit of the dough, it’s too good to waste, that’s why I just cut them into odd shapes once it’s rolled out. So GOOD!
I love the editing and production quality of your videos. I am literally on the edge of my chair watching. You make me feel like I can actually make these amazing recipes.
A amazingly simple recipe that produced the best biscuits made with my hands. I THANK YOU!
I’ve watched your video a couple times. I am going to attempt to make them today. Wish me luck
Thank you for this recipe. Explained nicely.. I like the broil real quick to brown. Moving quickly is a must. 2 1 1 and placing them touch cuz they need help.. "lean on me "Thank you!
I just made a loaf of bread but I think I need to make these biscuits now!!!
These are wonderful.!!!! I threw out all of my other recipes for biscuits. I just made them again tonight and tomorrow I am making more to freeze. Then all I have to do is pop them in the oven. Thank you for the video.
Sis this video was meant for me! I stink at making biscuits but this had me feeling hopeful! Can’t wait to try the recipe!
Same with us ✌🏽🌷 Soo hungry
I just made these and had to double back to tell you thank you. These are the best biscuits I EVER made. They remind me of grandma and my great auntie's biscuits. It took me home with every bite. I won't get emotional over some biscuits but I got a frog in my throat.🥲🥲
I'm convinced it's the folding of the dough. 👍 I did the same method of folding my foccacia dough. Perfect every time.
Also, grating the frozen butter and keeping everything chilled.
I absolutely love your channel! You make yourr recipes so easy to understand! I always thought making biscuits was very difficult.
Mother recommended this recipe, best biscuit I have ever made, ever. Soft, fluffy and tasty.

My grandfather made these ... Used a tin can. Thank you for the memories of my childhood
I had been wanting homemade biscuits for awhile now and I tried your recipe and that turned out to be really good thank you for making the video and happy holidays
Just tried these and I must say amazing. My first time getting biscuit to come out so good. It is tasty.
i wish i could eat this :( this looks so delicious!
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt if you want extra flavor in your biscuits.
So glad I found this lovely lady!! Best recipe I've found. Love the idea of grating the frozen butter❤
She got me at “this recipe uuugh huu “ sold ! 🤣😂🤣😅😆🤣😅
Wonderful recipe!!! I tried it with my crew for breakfast. They wanted more for dinner. Biscuits were soft, fluffy, and buttery. Thumbs up!!
As I just typed a paragraph explaining you should tell us the ingredients in the video you said it🤯🤗now the only 2 other major ingredients I'm missing is a home and a kitchen😭😭😭🙏

I’m not sure if I have already commented on this video: in the off chance I have not…
Giiiiirl. Thanks for this. I’ve followed a LOT of recipes for buttermilk biscuits and this video, and your recipe, BY FAR, is the easiest and tastiest, the quickest, and the least cleanup recipe I’ve found.
I don’t know you.
I never will.
But thank you for this.
