    Excellent analysis of design & realities of repairs.
    It's interesting how imperfect tech still provide a great reliable vehicle - example 2014 Fiat 500e.

    You guys are very busy which is good. First to see this except for Munro Live which had the tear down comparing it to the Y. Yes, modern EVs are complex and the hope is to streamline their architecture for manufacturing and repairing them.

    Oh crud...a regular 12v battery. Pretty much a large point of failure in EVs.
    So many sensors.... major cost to replace. Now you may realize why Tesla doesn't have a front bumper camera and got rid of the ultrasonics. Cheaper.

      My '24 Tesla Model Y has a 16v lithium battery instead of a lead acid 12v battery.
