I've been thinking of trying the Cambridge diet for a few weeks now and the only thing putting me off was not knowing anyone that had tried it, so I'm really loving these updates! I'm a size 16 and realllllllly don't like it 🙈 Do you feel lack of energy at all? Xxx
Mrs Parrott aw thank you. I'm glad someone is finding them helpful! actually I've found that I have more energy and am a lot less lethargic and sluggish than before (it's apparently something to do with ketosis - it's all rather scientific and confusing!) xxx

+So Sallyo I would if you've got the determination and drive to stick to it. It's very easy to slip and give in to temptation though! Price depends on your consultant, they set their own prices (usually around £2/£2.50 per meal I think) xxx

Dont forget people ensure you have 3 products a day with as they contain RDA of Vitamins, I think I missed a few milkshakes this week as i had some over this week! And remember the more you drink the more you shrink, drink that water. I love coffee in my vanilla and the cappuccino ones are nice. I have to have the lactose free products so limited and cant have the snack bars : ( but hey ho I make a choc hot milkshake instead lol
I have been having great health and weight loss using my menstrual cycle and my hormone levels to lose weight. I eat with no restrictions or calorie counting. I don’t like to eat a lot of products with artificial ingredients in them as I find they can affect my gut. Have a lovely day
Hi, I have recently bought the products but I don't know where to start. I am in a foreign country so I am experiencing a major communication breakdown with the consultant and the doctor. Also, the print on the products is not translated. Could you please guide me with the steps I need to follow from the very first untill the last day of the whole programme? Thank you in advance.
Hi. unfortunately I am not a consultant so don't know the ins and outs of the full programme. I blogged my experience of the full diet replacement where you have three 'meals' a day, but didn't go through all the steps and levels of the Cambridge diet programme. I'm sorry, but best of luck on your journey
Perhaps there are other who have updated steps posted, But the 3 year old video from Hammond TV step 3 is 1200 Calories. So that should be shakes and 400 Calorie meal i think
I would imagine that all the bars and shakes are vegetarian along with the non-meat flavoured soups and meals. However I did this a couple of years ago now and the options have changed greatly and the range has got much bigger. I'd suggest getting in touch with a consultant who'll know a lot more than I do!
Not so sure my mummy could drink 2 1/2 litres of water a day! The shakes sound nice and thick though.. well done. My mummy is overweight and needs to try something to lose it x
I didn't think I could, but I definitely found breaking it down into smaller bottles helped. Although I have seen others with a large one marked with times showing how much they should have drank by that hour!

I finished my first week today, and I literally just weighed myself and I, too, lost 9 lbs.
I'm too motivated now and nothing can stop me.

I think you can do 8 weeks or so on the shakes, but there's different stages that you can switch over to
