I use a emptied 1 litre soap pump bottle, which i rinsed out with boiling water then attached 1 meter of hose to. Cause €25 for a plastic pump is insanely expensive. My bottle was free & i throw it in the recycling bin when I'm done.
A torque wrench should only be used to tighten bolts to a specific torque -- hence it's name. You can use a ratchet wrench or other type but not a torque wrench!
Hi David. Yes it's absolutely true you can use a simple wrench to tighten those plugs. But in the workshop manual it's written that we have to tighten them to a specific torque: 30nm. That's why we recommend using the torque wrench but it should be also fine without ☺.
We never used GL-5 for our transfer box. If you're not sure about which oil to choose you can go for the oil Motul Gear 300. We are sure that this one goes for 2.4 & 2.2 tdci.

Great video....tip.....always wind the PTFE tape in the thread direction.....else it will re-wind when you screw it back in..:-)

Nice!! You mentioned not GL5 oil on the transfer box but the oil you put includes GL5. Am I missing something here?

What about GL-5 Oil? For the 2.2 Litres Puma there is a recommendation for only GL-5 Oil for the same transfer-box.
