Nice shooting, try the bohning heat vanes, 2.5long, like .4 tall, around 6.2grains, I love em, 3deg helical for broad heads, 1 degree for target and longer range. And that is with victory standard gamer 350spines...

I was smoking a pedron 4000 natural this very evening. I actually prefer the Meduro I think. But for the $$ I haven’t beat it yet. I had a 25th anniversary the other day. $30 and it was the best cigar I’ve ever had… not good news for the bank account!

I need to borrow the garmin again and put it down at the target. They lose a crazy amount of penetration power past 67 yards. So at 150, it’s probably not a good plan to shoot an elephant!
I was really excited to get the uv slider, but when I was waiting for a backorder shipment, I started reading their warranty stuff. I can't justify $600 for a sight with a warranty that's voided if you shoot it in extreme heat/cold, rain, snow, sleet, or wind. I hunt in almost all weather conditions... But freaking WIND voids it?! Also, if you just target shoot and never plan to hunt, not having a DEC approved archery safety course completed when you purchase this sight voids the warranty too :(
I’d be curious to know if anyone has had any issues getting stuff replaced. I wonder if they’re doing that in case of potential abuse my customers. I know that for our home building business we drastically limit the warranty that we offer people but as long as the folks aren’t complete a holes, we will typically go way over and above for them.
@brandonmcdonald6121 What got me started down that rabbit hole was a forum I was reading where a guy said his light quit working after hunting in the rain and they would replace or work on it. I thought there was no way a company would do that if they were trying to build a loyal customer base... but anything is possible! Who knows, maybe the guy beat it up badly and didn't want to take responsibility. BUT I would love to see someone with some pull actually ask them about that portion of the warranty and do a video breaking it all down. It's valuable info for such an expensive sight. Brandon did you make that target holder with the mat and frame? If so can you do a video on it? I’ve been wanting to build my own for long distance with some really thick wrestling mats I have and a frame similar to the one you have holding your matrix target
Yeah, I made that one. I dot. Think I did a video on this one but it’s pretty simple. 4x4s for the sides, 2x6s everywhere else then screw the Mats to the back. The key is to screw just the top of the mat if it will hold that way it has give to it. It’ll stop things easier.
Im rocking those same VAP SS 4mm arrows. 29.5” draw….what insert and vanes are you running to get that weight. Im right around same weight but with a little but shorter of an arrow
I don’t recommend the cameras that I use since I also use them for other purposes. But what you’re seeing in this video is the Canon C 70 with the 70-200 lens on it.
I’ve done that too but not on this setup. I’ve got a 6 degree helical on these and I think it’s just too much. They start to fall apart maybe halfway down.

I really like this one. Can’t remember the name but they have a blue camo or this green. It’s not their normal pattern. It looks even better when I don’t have a pocket full of batteries making me look like I have a bigger gut than I’ve already got!

I've tried so many vanes but always coming back to heat. 4 fletch, 2.5° right helical on bitz for broadheads.

Great shooting! No way I'd shoot arrows as expensive as VAP SS at TAC. I'd go with a 3DHV Sport with glue in points.

At least Tim c tramp stamp saves you 10% if you have to have it. What size peep you using? Lens?
No lens. I think this one’s a 1/8” but it could be 3/16. I’d have to get the calipers out

Podium archery (mfjj) titanium. They’re basically built like the ethics components structurally. Can’t remember the weight offhand.
I would shave about 40 grains off that arrow or farther and flatter shooting
I’ve got some 3dhvs I may try and see how much more I could get out of them.

Your vanes are hitting the bottom of your scope housing that’s why your arrows are wobbling. Nice shooting though.
