  • Hi Everyone,
    Welcome back to the channel! In this episode we get stuck into cleaning, stripping down and checking all the carb assemblies. Once these are all fresh and clean we get these back together and bagged up ready to go when we get back to building the bike back up.
    Then we move on to those all important valve/tappet clearances and I take you through a step by step approach on how I check these and what is involved.
    Finally we get the engine clean and looking great once again, a quick pit stop to look at the periodic maintenance checks the manual recommends and how we plan to get these done throughout this build series.

    A dynojet kit is worth fitting to these. Cleans up the revs nicely & also set up ready if you have an aftermarket filter & can 👍

    Not sure if you are aware but you mixed the two middle carbs up when you were separating them

      Thanks Matt, I did double check them before I re-assembled them back onto the support rails. There was me saying be careful not to mix them up 🤣
