@Moyetniishiswa2000 I'm with you on this. Steve Ferrone was much better with Eric, the music had more energy compared to when Gadd started playing with him.
I don't know about you, but this is the first time I've heard Clapton on Buddy Holly's Stratocaster. I find that sounds amazing, especially when he plays along with the music. That duller and dirtier sound of this Fender requires a top-level guitarist to make it sound harmonic. Clapton, my favorite guitarist of all my life...
Ovo je savršenstvo ..ritam , vokal klavijatre bubnjevi i veličanstveni Eric Clapton ...moj vječni idol ...hvala za svaku proizvedenu , odsviranu notu 🎶🎶🎹😎🎸🎤🥁😎🙏🙋♂️
If you like this, and you should, try a listen/watch of this track on the 24 Nights Live recordings. I was there, absolutely sensational; Eric really 'let go' and produced a truly mesmerising rendition.
How many times must we tell the tale? How many times must we fall? Whaoo quel groupe exceptionnel. Monsieur Clapton, you are one of the best, les choristes on des voies magnifique elle me donne la chair de poule. Bravo, merci monsieur Eric Clapton pour le bonheur que vous nous donné
He had such a great voice still, and clearly played beautifully, why they had to mix him so far back in the mix is also a mystery. This wonderful track is also one of those that sound deceptively simple, only because Nathan East is there. Try playing this in a cover band and nine times out of ten it just won’t last past the second chorus…. What a solid yet fluid bass!
I love the backup singers but I wish they were just a very little bit quieter, or clapton could be just a touch louder. I would like to hear a bit more of him on the pretendings
I disagree. I think the lady on the right is overdoing it. In fact, I cant even hear the other back up singers, and she's almost louder than Mr. Clapton. But to each his own opinion.
My one and only time to see Clapton he opened with the song.
Rocked the frame off the building .
The great thing about Eric’s style is that he relies so little on effects,he lets his fingers do the work, awesome!
Clapton is top of his game here. What a band. Wow.
yes
this man is a G O D
At 70 he still rocks
How you cannot dislike anything Eric sings or plays - always on top!!
I think you meant like not dislike
@@dansoros "How can you dislike anything Eric sings or plays; always on top!" (English 101) 😂
@@cubnation Yeah but he said "cannot"
God bless eric Clapton
I was there at the Royal Albert Hall when he opened with this number in 1990
speedformercy Me too!
Ditto. My first gig when i was a wee 16yr old.
I'm very envious.
Damnit am I jealous!!!
24 Nights??
Watching Eric is always a treat. I'm a guitar guy but, Steve Gadd kills it. He works so hard. Great video.
My man, Steve Gadd from my home town Rochester NY! He's freaking amazing!
Don’t like Steve Gadd’s drumming at all. Steve Ferone, Steve Jordan... even Jamie Oldaker.
He damn sure does.
Super tight!
@Moyetniishiswa2000 I'm with you on this. Steve Ferrone was much better with Eric, the music had more energy compared to when Gadd started playing with him.
The best version

Huge huge respect Sir..... and those backing vocalist girls are also amazing!
Michelle John and Sharon White - glorious singers!

Clapton and friends all have snap . The back up vocals ,Oh those ladies keep it soufoul and beautiful 😍
The best part of the whole concert was to be able to see the amp settings on this song.
@Darren Vernall Check! :D
Great back up singers
What I love about Eric Clapton is…. He’s so great. And he changes it up all the time. Phenomenal
This is definitely my most favorite Clapton song
Marcel B. DesRoches

You don't see Eric miss the chord changes often. , But it stands out big time here. .
Yip
That's how a lead guitar should sound.
Thanksgiving Night 2019 - Can't get any better getting lost listening to Eric Clapton Slowhand @ 70 👍
Good solo...not lead guitar...
Singer pretty good too....hahahaa
Ridiculous. Dammit I never got to see this
Sounds like an old mustang engine…
The sound on this video was so amazing, and to the people involved of the videoing great job showing the band. A+

Clapton is god
Wooww!!
Je prétends et je signe,il est le plus grand
Many have covered. Notables. Joe Bonamassa included. But this is the the real deal.
Super i like this so much greate !!!!!!!!!
Unwatchable because the director thinks camera angles are more important than the performance. Made me dizzy.
He had such a great voice still, and clearly played beautifully, why they had to mix him so far back in the mix is also a mystery.

Yes!
great backing vocals

Me impresionó en 1990, y me sigue gustando está canción.
4:48 greatness 🙌 👏

I love the back up singers
He is god
Excelente canción sólo que las cámaras marean dejan muy poco tiempo enfocando a Clapton en 2224 escuchando a este dios de la música
Клэптон-великий интеллектуал.
God fingers!!
Bon, sa Strat, merde, elle est trop chouette !!!
Clapton is God, il joue et chante comme personne !
Sing it ladies.

many versions of this but mr. gadd kills !
Clapton+Paul Carrack+Nathan East? woooooowwwwww
Paul Carrack on keys. Goddamn.
Gadd is playing the shit out of those skins
Were audience zombies. Can't see why they're not out of their seats.
them girls can sing
I do not understand unlikers.
Le Maître
I miss the guitar fills, but otherwise awesome.
This song should always have a guest guitarist come on and jam alongside
Agreed. John Mayer smashed it
Zhang stole the ring
Clapton has lost a step, but is still really good. Most of the others are dead; Hendrix, Alvin Lee, Dwane Allman, etc.
Mr Wilburn, I am a guitar player for 6 decades....no sir,....Mr Clapton has lost nothing...
Mamma mia !!!||!|
he's my fav next to tom petty,i love this song!
Is that Steve Gadd on drums ?
