I felt muscles that I have never felt before, even when i am doing strength training. I have started doing pilates videos a week ago and I love pilates now. It is alot more calming on my joints and I do not feel pressured to try and lift heavy because even with the lighter weight, I still felt everything! Loved this arm workout

I love this workout! And that said from someone who hates working shoulders (it is my weakest part of the body, so I'm really thankfull for this as an inspiration to hopefully gain better strenght where I need it the most... ;-P )
I am not a doctor, but I also have scoliosis and really enjoy this workout. For those of us with curvy spines, the most important thing I've heard is that exercises should be symmetrical, and this routine is totally symmetrical. I would encourage you to give it a try! Stop if anything hurts you.
These exercises are for my body . A model type of body. I am 5'8 and 115 pounds. I do this workout all the time without even commenting it works for me thinner body type. Otherwise there is just walking for a heavier type. One perfects as they get thinner.
I'm just making sure I'm reading this right. Are you saying pilates is only for your body type? And anybody above that shouldn't do pilates, but walk instead? I'm trying not to judge, but your body is considered underweight, so you shouldn't be doing too much exercise and work on adding in more calories. The model body type doesn't exist like it used to, because we are moving away from the sickly look. Models actually work on fueling their bodies and making them strong instead of getting tiny muscles and making their ribs visible. As for "heavier" bodies, they should get in fitness in whatever way they want. Muscle helps to burn more calories when not working out, so heavier people can benefit a lot from any type of muscle building workouts.

You aren't lifting anything heavy so I really feel they are to tighten and tone.

Mel lolz OMG! You’re using more than twice the weight!! It’s 3 pounds, not kg! 3 US pounds equal 1.361 kgs. Hope this helps! 😉
