Question that everyone asks and no one answers? How do you get your first experience in data? I'm finishing my bootcamp now, and the reality is companies stopped hiring non CS/Master degrees for these positions. Everywhere else you look ask for a degree in maths, computer science, etc. The Hard truth is that you can have a really nice portfolio and knowledge, but if you don't have connections or networking, without a degree it's really Hard. It's not impossible, but it's not as easy as most People present it.
Hi Rohan, I am an Arts student. I completed a data analyst certificate from IBM. Excel, Power Bi, Python, and SQL My question is, is there any chance to become a data analyst as an art student? please reply. I am from Michigan.
Hi Rohan thanks for the information, I have started with Power BI initially and thought of doing SQL next so can i continue with the Power Bi or jump into SQL now ?
You can go with any flow. It's even fine to do both of them simultaneously. At the end the skills you need are : SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, Statistics & Probability
Very informative video, i have a query currently know the basics of sql ,power bi, tablue and excel but i am not very experienced with any of them , and i currently want a job in data analytics, would you suggest to start learning python or just practice and get better in the above mentioned skills as first priority , i currently have a limited time slot and i need to switch to a data analytics jobs within 2024 or starting of 2025.
learn python, its demanded a lot know someone who tried without it and it was difficult not impossible, but difficult just my opinion feel free to disagree edit: if you can, do both. practice projects & build portfolio for sql, power bi, tableau and excel (looker too) and in meantime learn python

Question, if I can visualize data using matplotlib and/or seaborn, do I need to use Tableau or Power BI?
You don’t have to, but if you want to be a professional data analyst, knowing them would be valuable.
@@nikowabantu6216 Thank you for your advice
