Hello karlo Laurent. İ want to develop myself in this field and work from home. Can you give me any suggestion? Where can I work ?which platform provide me for finding job fastly?
Just the video I was looking for! I recently graduated in Data Science and looking to freelance while looking for work as a data analyst. I've been on the hunt for what a deliverable would actually look like for a client and this is the first video I have come across that helps! Thank you for making this video Dee!
This is one of the best day in the life videos I've seen for this job. Thank you for being detailed enough that we can see actually work duties of a DA.
This video made me excited I am currently learning data analytics tools and I wanted to see what this would look like in practice this was so exciting to get to see what your workflow looks like. It also gives me the ideas on what are realistic questions that buisnesses ask !
its wild how you were so quick to ask that the data is complete. most of my data has many, many "null"s and a big part of our work is figuring out how to manage that!
Finished this video at 3:00am and i must say, you’ve motivated me to keep learning Data Analysis, I’m always thrown off by the excess info but I think I have clarity now. Thank you so much
This actually looks like an awesome job IMO....I Love to look at trends in data, even in my current job, we use tableau for Tracking our performance numbers over time. Imma definitely look into this Field
What you just did in several hours (maybe?) took me 3 months of an internship using excel only!! Visualizing data for negotiable costs from distributor asset codes and sources we used for comparing market prices! Gosh this is so cool to see. I will not give up just because I take more time! Thank you for making such an honest video.
This is such a great video showing what a data analyst actually does! I’m pursuing a bachelor’s in data science and it’s so nice to see some of the different skills I’ve been learning used in real life
Thank you for the clearer details. I appreciate that you have went through explaining the systems you used and why I.e. Python would be used for automated, and you used tableau, as it allowed you to drag and drop data. Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the very instructive video! REQUEST: Could you please make some videos with step by step real life projects, so we as aspiring DAs can practice and build a portfolio ? Thanks
Thank you for the crystal clear illustration and demonstration of what a Data Analyst actually does. I was thinking of a career change but the video has saved me time and money as I realise it's actually not me.
Thank you for this! I myself graduated with a degree in tech! I’m a I.T SUPPORT SPECIALIST BUT….. I have been taking classes on data analytics! I want to enter a data role similar to an internship I worked! It was basic entering data but with the economic skills that they’re teaching me now so I can earn a certification! Thanks for this, you’ve helped me understand a daily lifestyle as a data analyst
Thanks so much, this was just what I needed to decide my career and I took a U-turn from Data Analysis after watching this! 😂 Thanks a lot once again, you're inspiring!❤
I am halfway thru my Google certification and i am glad i found this video. This video is giving me real life sample on on day to day activities i will have to undertake in the future. Congrats!
Great video, nicely put, clean, easy to understand and the best part of it all you don't hide anything or gatekeep or make it hard. I just started doing my AI engineering course majoring in Data science, and After watching this video I'm 100% sure I'm going to go with being a Data analyst😍🙏🙏
Thank you for showing and talking about the actual work you do. This is very helpful as I’m thinking of transitioning to a similar role. Subscribing to you now.
Girl you got a South Ah and Brit accent! Lol by the way its a Data Analyst administrator here . Without the qualification, bt of backround i been working for the company for over 8 years now and luckily i got a boss who is an Actuary and he just basically taught me a lot and i'm still pushing to get atleast a BSC in Informatics or Computer Science.
I am trying to change career and did a 4 month fellowship program it was hard but i feel cool being able to understand the visuals. I still got so much to learn
i love this soo much clear session objective clear example of what the sorted data could look like and an email example ....so much better than i woke up at 9am showered walked my dogs at 10 had breakfast started work at 1 (no objective or nothing ) i clocked out at 5 etc .
How do you handle situations where clients give poor data? For example undetailed data or poor data quality in general? Do you ever have to get back to them to inform them that there is not much you can conclude?
From a software engineering perspective it seems AI is way off being able to create and manage full software systems, there's just far too many moving parts for clients to be able to use AI for engineering. But from a data analytics point of view, especially in regards to what is done in this video, I can't see AI been too far away from completely replacing most of these roles. Clients could simply upload their data and ask the AI questions, I hope I am wrong. Does anyone disagree? If so, then why?
@@bigzapyeah I agree with you but very soon it could very easily replace a lot of entry level/juniors. As I said the tasks the did in the video that her client asked her really isn’t that far from being done by uploading the data set into AI and asking varias questions. I’d be surprised if it couldn’t already do that now. Especially if we’re talking about data analytics and not writing machine learning models.
Im currently in school working on a Masters in Healthcare Informatics and I'm interested in learning more about how to get into this. I have had a course work in Tableau, Power BI, and Python. Any advice on how to get into this? How did you get started? I just learned of your channel.
Question: how much do you need to explain to clients what values or charts mean? Do you mainly provide them with an interpretation of data or do you provide them with stuff like means or ratios? Also, do you do any hypothesis testing or is it all descriptive or visualization ? Thanks for the video! It was interesting.
I don’t know whether to study Data Analyst or Database Administrator. It’s important to me to learn one of these as quickly as possible? "After studying, which of these two has a better chance of helping me land my first job? In other words, which one can be learned faster, and with which one can I get a job more quickly?
This was awesome, I'm late to the video but, I wanted to ask if there are any math book recommendations for data analysis that would be helpful, thank you.
Hello dee ! I'm new here, stumbled on your channel and it's gold .. gonna be watching alot of videos today . Could y please tell me how did y become a Data Analyst? Was it self-study or is it part of your major ? ❤
This is a really good video. I've just completed my first Course on Data Analytic through Google. Hoping to be where you are in the future! Thanks for the insight into your day-to-day.
Nice representation of what Data Analyst work should look like. Question, in most of your work, are you doing some data cleaning before loading the data into Tableau? If yes, are you still using Excel or Python for that? Thanks!
Hi Dee, thank you for your video; just curious (second cup of morning coffee high), does the amount to be paid by the insurance company affect the time it takes to pay, and if so, how would you report this to a client?
finally someone who shows what they actually do, instead of what they eat
omg, so it's not just me eyerolling at the coffee machine close ups and candle lighting intros 😂
Right 😂
I was going to comment exactly da same, finally someone truly committed to show data in real world 😊
Lmao. My thoughts exactly.
Djeeezz! I thought it was just me! 😂
Finally someone showing you what they actually do instead of these vlogs where they have a shower, coffee, sit at desk and go to bed!
😂😂😂
Omg ikr so annoying.
innit
This is how you show day in a life, not any random talk about nonsense like most. Thanks so much, very good insights!
This was the BEST “A day in life” I’ve ever seen. I’m a freshman in Data Science. Very motivating and inspiring. Thank you!
Do you have a degree?
@ not yet
Hello karlo Laurent. İ want to develop myself in this field and work from home. Can you give me any suggestion? Where can I work ?which platform provide me for finding job fastly?

How is the uni life and the major experience so far
round of applause the best example i've seen yet by a HUGE margin👏
agee 100%
its nice to see how different Analyst manage their work & how they visualize data for the customer... thank you for being so thorough
This is absolutely THEE best video showing what a Data Analyst does. 🎯 Ms. Dee can’t thank you enough.

This is great! I was a data analyst intern and I’m happy that I clicked on this video, very realistic work flow 😌💯
I'm glad that she actually covered the actual work not a lifestyle like the others🎉🎉

Or spending hours trying to get data types that are usable, especially when appending tables from different sources with all different data types 😭😭
Amazing! Thank you for showing actual work and tasks in detail
Finished this video at 3:00am and i must say, you’ve motivated me to keep learning Data Analysis, I’m always thrown off by the excess info but I think I have clarity now. Thank you so much
A great motivator
This actually looks like an awesome job IMO....I Love to look at trends in data, even in my current job, we use tableau for Tracking our performance numbers over time. Imma definitely look into this Field
Thank you for actually showing up what the job entails and not 10 minutes making coffee and talking about what podcast you listen to while your work.

This is a fantastic video highlighting some of the things you do day to day. Thank you for showcasing your experience

finally someone who doesn't blur their screen and actually shows us what they do 😄
Thank you for the crystal clear illustration and demonstration of what a Data Analyst actually does. I was thinking of a career change but the video has saved me time and money as I realise it's actually not me.

Let’s get her to 100k subbies guys. She has broken a record on UA-cam. Thank you so much Dee. ❤
Definitely
The best vlog I’ve seen !! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
I just learned Tableau and finished my first project with it. It felt good to actually understand what she was doing !
I'm planning to do data analytics which laptop would be great for day to day use as an analytics
Same too.
Great video, nicely put, clean, easy to understand and the best part of it all you don't hide anything or gatekeep or make it hard. I just started doing my AI engineering course majoring in Data science, and After watching this video I'm 100% sure I'm going to go with being a Data analyst😍🙏🙏
This is so helpful, thank you!!! I was searching for something like this for so long ... Noone else really shows what the WORK actually looks like 😅❤
Thank you for showing and talking about the actual work you do. This is very helpful as I’m thinking of transitioning to a similar role. Subscribing to you now.
Very clear and concise! 💯💯 Thanks for this video outlining what's tasked usually

Can you coach me. I love your openness to the career. I love to be like you in this field!!!
Very insightful. Thanks for sharing.
I work as an Implementation Specialist/System Engineer, and this is very similar to my day- except I automate things using only SQL in SSMS.
Wow , How I wish I become one someday ❤ I’m still learning tableau as of the moment… and enrolled in Google data analytics certification🙏
I'm really considering on enrolling myself in Google data analytics certification 🙂 How did yours go?
Thanks, this is so helpful!❤
I'm so glad it’s helpful!
Very insightful, thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks a million for this video

Yes you're right, AI will replace a LOT of jobs very, very soon it's kinda scary
You need a deep rooted knowledge of data analytics to prompt your AI on how to answer those questions. You can’t just make this things up. lol
Plus AI is a tool for people who have a good understanding of what they do and not a form of competition for them.
@@bigzapyeah I agree with you but very soon it could very easily replace a lot of entry level/juniors. @@Mikebigmike94 Absolutely agree with you.
Awesome video thank you!!
This is dope, how’d you learn and get a job doing this? I know how to program self taught but I want to actually work with my skills
Great video! Thanks for sharing! I was wondering if you do freelance work or if you work with a company?
Thanks, im starting my classes tomorrow
This actually looks fun

Wow. Working six hours a day without a boss breathing down your neck threatening to fire you, and being able to afford a house. I should try this.
Best day in the life I have come across so far
Thank you, very useful video

Where do I go to get hired at this job? Work from home, flexible hours & no experience. I keep looking but everyone wants 2 to 5 years of experience.
love this great content
I am currently learning this module at school and I genuinely find it interesting. Do you think this job remains relevant in years to come? 😃
This was so awesome
Keep going 🎀
This is a really good video. I've just completed my first Course on Data Analytic through Google. Hoping to be where you are in the future! Thanks for the insight into your day-to-day.

What's wrong with that though?
Thank you for your valuable kt

Yes she cleaned her data, she just didnt show the process due to data privacy, but she mentioned it

QUESTION: In the excel sheet, what specific data did you gather? I am thinking of approaching this method for a potential client.
Hi I have subscribed to your channel without watching your video because I like similar minded people more. Cheers girl 🎉
the stuff i needed to know 👍
Hi Dee, thank you for your video; just curious (second cup of morning coffee high), does the amount to be paid by the insurance company affect the time it takes to pay, and if so, how would you report this to a client?
