This episode was filmed before the news that Jon Bon Jovi talked a woman down from jumping off a bridge. Jon is a good person. The whole ''Do What You Can'' song is basically about and inspired by all of the great work he did during the pandemic volunteering at food banks and soup kitchen. We should all aspire to be like Jon Bon Jovi. And yes, there are so many great songs to choose from. Your friend, Brett Strong
I went into the Forever album knowing I'd like it, but was not expecting to LOVE it as much as I did. ''Waves'' especially just got me. Such great writing. And Jon despite his recent vocal troubles sounds great. Thanks for watching! Your friend, Brett Strong
I like your little Easter egg in your description. Hoot. Hoot. Top 10 songs are easier, but definitely not simple. You always put yourself through this and I always love the end result. Good thing it’s not ranked songs. The torture!I get to learn more about each individual song. I’m a huge fan of storytelling songs. It’s like a book with something to tap your foot with. Awww! It’s so special when songs help you get through life. Let alone the pandemic! We didn’t even know each other then. It’s really cool that events can create something. Cool happy and cool sad. Something is born when you’re affected just like their song, Fear. Spaceball??? I’ve never even seen the first one. I most definitely wasn’t a thought yet when that movie came out. Oh man! There’s been so many times when I thought a singer or band was singing an original, but turns out, it’s a cover which leads me to a deep dive on the original artist. It’s a fun rabbit hole to be in. Do you listen to songs with headphones? Do you let the songs play from the cd player? What’s your favorite way to listen to songs???
Good questions! Sometimes I listen on CD player. I bought a newish model Discman which I use a lot. Sometimes I listen on a Bose stereo with the BIG SOUND. I like using headphones when I really want to immerse myself in the music. I use headphones with the Discman and on my laptop. The hard part becomes choosing what exactly I want to listen to. If I'm listening for the purpose of doing a show, it's easy. When I listen to music while I'm working, usually on a screenplay, I have listened to everything from Heavy Metal, Punk, New Wave and Pop. In fact just about everything related to Robyn B. Dannielle was written listening to Punk and New Wave as that is her vibe. Although, when working I almost always choose Jazz. It's relaxing and for some reason gets my creativity really flowing. There you go. Thanks for watching, Sarah! It's so great having you here. Your friend, Brett Strong
@@machinomusicfilms Omgggg I listen to jazz when I write my stories! Although lately, it’s been instrumental covers. Jazz though, has my heart. Something about it IS relaxing! I’m happy we have that in common.
Bon Jovi is awesome! Fantastic live & so many classic hits. Well done!

Thanks for the original favorites list. I like hearing other fan thoughts/opinions. Waves is one of, if not my favorite, favorite songs off Forever.
