Most of the issues you had with this game are related to you not learning the mechanics, weaknesses, and a lack of exploration. There are so many ways to approach every encounter which is what makes this great.
Both rabbit brotherhood fights can be made into a 1 on 1 easily if you just stay away from the passive fighters. In the first, the eldest will play passive and only does one attack if you stay away from him, in the second only one of them will attack, usually the one who buffed their weapon. Just gotta use spacing
It felt good to play with some minor issues Plus I think the audio for the hits (you hitting an enemy) could have more oomph behind it but then again I used a rapier for most of my playthrough
@@ItsHawx definitely, I've struggled with some of the bosses as others have, but then some bosses that people have found hard such as the Luxasia I breezed through.
I thought Luxasia was incredibly balanced unlike some others and Champion Victor as well as the Door Guardian were easier than that rotund clown puppet in the burning streets area
I got the double dodge ability in ng+.... From what I understood with my time with the game, the most essential is the rising dodge, double is mostly good against human bosses (to get to their back) and if you're playing a technique build. This is my first soulslike and it taught me to meet it at its level; learn to perfect parry, learn the movements, know my character's movements with weapons and for the love of god, abuse the fully maxed puppet string. NG+ so far has been a joke with the only boss that kicked my ass more than once being the king of puppets. GOTY for me, right here.
I was nearly done with the game at the grand exhibition because of the stupid puppet with 4 arms that would rush you. Plus I was getting kinda bored. I took a few days off which I'm glad I did to finish the game because the rest was much more worth it for the story. Hardest bosses for me was Bishop and Nameless puppet. Rest was average souls difficultly.
Those bucket looking puppets with drills and saw blades right? I learned that they are particularly weak to charged attacks The shield puppet up in the rafters was a bigger problem for me personally
This game is my game of the year! It gets good in chapter 3. Once u get certain weapons and improve your character look out. And if u get further in the p-organ it feels amazing. I'm on new game plus chapter 10. This game is by far the best so far this year . I feel bad for anyone that gave up on this game. Parry once u figure it out feels amazing. Just stick with it improve your guy and your self. U will love it. Unless u just can't figure it out
comparitavely thats a lot for people beating the halfway boss considering all those games youve named have been out way longer while lies of p has been out for like a month.
Fantastic video. I am glad for the algorhythm for bringing smaller channels like yours to people. You deserve more subscribers. Looking forward to more of your commentary, maybe more lies of p?
Thank you so much! Means a lot! I am not sure if I will make more Lies of P content since I did finish the game and the other endings aren't really enough to warrant more videos. If there is a DLC maybe? If there is a sequel definitely But other than that I think I am likely gonna move on to the next game Do you have any feedback to the video btw? Anything I could improve on?
Lies of p hasn't been that tough SO FAR! Just made it to the Estella Opera House Entrance after beating the Mad Clown Puppet. Beat every boss on the 1st or 2nd try except the Clown puppet which i died 5 times on. Im guessing it gets alot harder?
You struggled more with mad clown than archbishop boss? I perfect parried mad clown to death but then got my ass beat by puppet king until I started using throwables
@kingsrky3931 depends on your build, really. Im doing a motivity build for strength and always put into anything with stagger dmg or time and guarding. I also started upgrading anything that helps my legion arm and more ergo per kill. A lot of ways you can go about the p organ
I hate the walking furnace bros, hate them as much as the big bloated titty monsters fling their acid at you and knocking you off the ledge!!! I died to them way too much. That being said I am enjoying the game, taking it slow and backing off when I feel overly frustrated.
I've never played any souls game before and this game was so freaking easy, maybe you all just so used to others souls that you go play this game like it's sekiro or bloodborne and it ends up it isn't, it's lies of p. I frequently see souls fans having a hard time and non souls fans having a good time with this game, maybe y'all just need to pay attention to the game and not play it on auto-mode with souls knowledge.
I def approached this game with the belief that the enemies will act like Elden Ring enemies. So a bit slower and deliberate. But I was far from going on auto mode. After the video released i actually found that a lot of players agreed that this game has balancing issues. I mean...look at throwables and the patch notes halfing some bosses' health bars

This game hit the spot so good 👍

I've finished the game and onto new game+, and there are definitely some major difficulty spikes in some of the bosses.
It is very all over the plave is it not?

Even if it doesn't get GOTY the fact that this is NEOWIZ's first attempt at a soulslike and it is almost perfect is impressive on its own
5:27 I thought I clicked a wrong button leading to another video. I almost wanted to click the back baton on the browser.
I am sorry for the confusion!
Thank you for sticking around for so long tho!

I like the game already wdym
excellent video.
Thank you!
Lies of P Boss kick my ass from start to the End Game and i Love it:) 😇
It's great isn't it?
I love the varied designs of the bosses
No it won’t, I’m in ng+ and have still a lot of fun, destroying Bosses at first ( yeah, this run only)try knowing how to battle
The steampunk mini smashing oneself into a flaming stain.
comparitavely thats a lot for people beating the halfway boss considering all those games youve named have been out way longer while lies of p has been out for like a month.
The main reason why the ergo is stingy is because a lot of Soul players over level to overcome the Skill > build aspect
it's a skill issue
If you fight every mini boss (You should since they drop quartz/legion calibers) you should be around level 80-90 by the end of the game.

I forst tried KoP but struggled on black rabbit tbh.
When in doubt, throw all the throwables you can buy

@richards3237 Yee I beat the arch bishop 1st try. I haven't come across the puppet king yet tho
Actually I think it gets easier as you finally get enough quartz to unlock certain abilities
@@ItsHawx What abilities would you recommend?? So far I've done more heals and improve my dodge plus roll when knocked to the floor

Well, it did break my gamepad
You should sue 😂
All the complaints are skill issues on your part, double attacks are double parryable
Oh yea I saw some people do it. But it is incredibly difficult.
