I just wonder if Charles knew that; pretty clearly, Gene didn't. Gary's other godparents were Steve Allen, Terry-Thomas and Pamela Mason. Quite a celebrity lineup. Gary was born in June 1962 in Los Angeles. Richard's older son, Mark, was born in February 1960 in London. Richard and his first wife, Diana Dors, borrowed one of Liberace's homes for their honeymoon, and I have read that Liberace borrowed their farm in the English countryside around the same time.
