Every season needs at lease one or two people who don't quite fit in, it makes for good story telling. The problem with an all winners season is that your entire casting pool is people who won and had to have at lease a decent social game. Nick was one of the few former winners who could fit this category, so I can see why he got cast.
For WaW, Danni was my biggest surprise; part of her strategy was “don’t talk to production”, so I still find it weird that they took her instead of Vecepia or Tina. Personally I would have loved to see Natalie White so that we could finally see her play the game 😅

Blood vs Water: literally joined the cast last hours as a RC replacement... in the worst season imaginable for this because she got voted out right away in a twist
Definitely! She was my other choice for Cambodia, but I feel like her really, really strong campaign to get on Cambodia made her slightly less of a surprise
8:23 Great job, Candice. You're a returnee again, you're a literal last minute casting, and you're not even the second weirdest casting choice on Blood vs Water.
I know this might not be a popular opinion, especially for a season as big as 50, but I don’t want anyone who has played more than twice and no winners. I want people to come back who have things to prove and have potential, not people where we already know what we’re getting!
@@Josh_Kolboi think the first boot season is a fun idea but you gotta consider a lot of first boots are probably old and got voted out for their age, and also probably wouldn’t be the most interesting considering we only got to know most of them for one episode
On Survivor All-Stars in the original casting, Colleen Haskell (Survivor Borneo) and Elizabeth Filzarski (Hasselback) (Survivor Australia) were asked to be on All-Stars Season but they turned it down. Jenna (Survivor Borneo) and Amber (Survivor Australia) were subs, and got on in their place.

I will always defend Candice. She always played the game hard each time she played and no one really fits the same archetype as her. I was never surprised to see her on her two returning appearances .
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Candice was originally supposed to be cast as a villain for HvV but it was switched because they couldn't have Amanda, James, Cirie, and Parvati start out on the same tribe again because it would be a repeat of Micronesia.
Savage campaigned hard but so did everyone else on the bubble who got on (Wentworth, Monica, Varner). I could definitely see an argument for any of the four of them though!
@@IdoledOut I wasn't a fan at the time of Cambodia but did Kimmi campained a lot? I know she had her iconic moment but she was still a pre merge boot 15 years ago at that point so I was really suprised to see her on
Maybe amongst the men sure (I would think PI's popularity and his relatively big role would put him above Terry and Varner, but it's not crazy). I have a hard time believing Monica ranked above him in the raw vote total.
The common thread for all three Caramoan WTF picks (well... the most WTF picks haha. That whole favs tribe is kinda ridiculous sans like Malcolm and Brenda) would be that they're pregame friends of Cochran going in. Certainly explains going with Dawn instead of Holly from Nicaragua (the OG pick)
@@NYChica23 On the other hand, Corinne was quite literally booed at the live reunion. I think being generally disliked with a small handful of fans does not make for a fanfavorite.

@@queenzoroark I don't know how true it is but I've always heard a rumor that they picked Amber because she was willing to wear a bikini and Neleh wasn't. Normally I'd say that sounds preposterous, but seeing how they treated Purple Kelly in S21 I can kinda believe it.

Savage was REALLY likely to return on Cambodia. First of all, he came from a really popular season which for many, is already enough to put him through the cast. Many felt he was robbed of a proper second shot his first go around, and thus needed another chance because of that alone. I remember SO many people wanting Savage back, there is no way he got the least amount of votes in the poll IMO. Also YESSS #ANDREWSAVAGEFOR50 I also think you underestimate the merge boots of those first few seasons. Players like Jeff Varner, Boston Rob and Andrew Savage were massive names at the time with their downfalls being some of the best episodes of these classic era seasons, hence I don't think these players would have been WTF picks no matter when they returned. Also Monica Padilla 100 percent got the lowest amount of votes I literally forgot she existed or even played once let alone twice T-T
All Stars: Amber Micronesia: Parvati Heroes vs Villains: Danielle (Candice made sense; however, she should’ve remained on the villains tribe where she was originally intended to be by production) Caramoan: Francesca Blood vs Water: Colton Cambodia: Kelley Wentworth Game Changers: Hali Winners At War: Nick/Wendell/Ben/Adam/Michele/Denise/Danni (Literally all of them could’ve been replaced imo)
Ummm none of the WAW could have been replaced! Like they had alts and options but there BEST case scenario for logistics, fan service, player health and balance was getting the 20 that played.
@@raheemfielder-bey998 wrong. We needed more old school players. The old school players were outnumbered from the jump, which is why they were all taken out immediately and why Winners At War is such a snooze (that and the over the top advantages). Lastly, Ben and Michelle are kinda dodo’s. And like…so is Fabio, but at least he’s endearing. Ben & Michelle on the other hand….they’re just ditzy & stale all around. And kinda strange. There were definitely better options
All Stars: Amber Micronesia: Parvati Heroes vs Villains: Danielle Caramoan: Most of the Favorites Blood vs Water: Monica Cambodia: Wentworth Game Changers: Most of the cast Winners at War: Danni
I agree with all but Danni. She was a rare, gold standard returnee. She’d been saying since 2005 that she would only return for an all-winners season. It was cool to see that become a reality so many years later and she kept her word.
I read someone say that Wentworth did a mini campaign to try and get back onto the show after her game got botched in San Juan del Sur. If it's true, she did a good job and made sure her return was worth the votes.
Cambodia is easily Monica. In an already massive unbalanced edit she had the lowest of the edit of the Galu members besides CGI Brett of course. While I don't know the case with Brett, Monica was by far the least interesting out of the 8 who made the merge and probably the entirety of Galu. Both Wentworth's were at likeable before Missy and Baylor ruined their games.
Here are my picks: All stars: amber Fans vs favorites: Amanda Hvv: Danielle Caramoan: Francesca Blood vs water: Colton Second chance: wentworth Game changers: everyone but probably hali Winners at war: nick because he sucks
Most of the game changers cast. Apparently Rob Cesternino was contacted around this time to gauge interest, and he didn't say no. That we might've had someone like this makes me wonder who else was out there, and even more about how we got the cast we did.
Parvati was supposed to be on Heroes and Candice was supposed to be on Villains at first but production didn’t want too many Micronesia people on the same tribe so they switched them last minute
Since we don't know the theme, speculation is gonna run wild till the cast of 50 is revealed. One thing i know for sure is, someone we've seen play before is a future Sole Survivor, we just don't know who it is yet
Re: All-Stars. Even as someone who isn't the biggest Boston Rob fan, like you said, he was pretty prominent on Marquesas, despite his relatively early exit. I'd lean Alicia myself. Other players voting her least deserving of being there in a Touchy Subjects challenge and her being hurt by that were even points of emphasis of one episode of All-Stars. The one counterpoint to myself is that, in a pre-UA-cam, peak-of-reality-TV era, "I will ALWAYS wave my finger in your face!" was a moment with serious iconic status.
Depends on what ya value most. Aubrey brought the least to the season as far as the but that was in part due to her reputation being so high. Joe did lead Kama to dominance so he heavily had a say in the events of the pre-merge but really doesn't do anything otherwise. David and Kelly are basically in a cold war that doesn't really go anywhere.
I think even production would agree that tribe captains again was a pretty bad idea considering none of them made the endgame, but I don't think any of them are particularly bizarre choices if you're determined to go that route. Obviously recasting Joe has aged poorly for various reasons, but if I had to pick any of them as strange choices at the time I'd probably go David just because he was a one-time player.
Now you need to do the opposite side of the coin. The players who should’ve been on returning seasons, but didn’t for weird reasons. T Bird and Shane for Cambodia I think are really good examples of that. Why they were the only two pre Heroes vs Villains players not selected for Second Chance over Jeff Varner, and Kimmi, is truly a mystery to me.
Varner campaigned hard, both him and Kimmi were part of the biggest season of the show’s history and were screwed by circumstances (no sit outs at the time cost Kucha the immunity challenge that led to Kimmi’s elimination, Jeff was eliminated on a somewhat bs tiebreaker rule)
@@addi543Okay, but that doesn’t explain why Shane and T Bird were snubbed. I would be fine with if Shirin and Joe weren’t on that cast. No shade to Shirin, but I feel like she didn’t really make the most of her second chance and T Bird might’ve, and Joe had the exact same strategy as his previous season.
I agree Savage is a bubble pick but him over Monica from that season surprises me. Her and Natalie/Kelly Wentworth(before she made it big) seem more WTF to me than Savage. At least he had a major role on his first season even if he wasn't a big character. Granted Monica's campaign strat likely being what it was prolly got her in over Natalie or Tbird
For Second Chances, I get that we have to go by who was last in the votes, but I really have to question why Monica Padilla was brought back? I only started watching live with Kaoh Rong, so I just barely missed out on that era, and I'm curious as to whether she was actually more popular pre-season, or in the fanbase's minds?
I’m guessing Savage wasn’t supposed to be in Cambodia because he had 11th most votes out of the men; but because Mike won Worlds Apart, he was ineligible to return & gave Savage the spot.
12:50 I'm so confused right now. I haven't seen the season yet (so please no more spoilers than the many many I have already got) but I have seen clips of Earl literally being on this season. And what about Vecepia's snub? I may be a Neleh fan, but V's notebook and social game were fabulous! Okay, since having literally won the season gives you some serious cloud by definition, I'm going to be interested to see who the heck could end up here. The only wtf casting choice I can think of would be Brian and I know for dámn sure they wouldn't go near him.
I know for Heroes vs. Villains, Candace was originally supposed to be on the Villains tribe and Parvati was originally supposed to be on the Heroes tribe, but the producers wanted to separate her from Cirie and Amanda, so they switched her and Candace.
I did like Parvati during her first season but in retrospect, I do agree that I would have never expected her to be a returnee let alone the great player she turned out to be... If anything, after her first return, I usually got really excited on left field choices cause at least most of the time we get great choices
Then it's no surprise as to why he wasn't on the season I do wonder how he would do if he was though, imma go out on a limb here and say I think he could make it to the end
To be fair, Troyzan was pretty fun opposition to Kim's steamroll in One World and even though Troyzan did literally nothing in Game Changers, I can still see why he was casted.
Being completely fair, they probably already had the cast made and then tried to come up with and justify a name for it. It just feels weird seeing "Game Changers" without Cesternino, Cao Boi, or Stacy Kimball as 3 of the most obvious choices.
I'd say Ozzy & Wade are in the list on South Pacific, solely based on their counterpart, each other. Redemption Island 1 had the obvious theming of former rivals leading their tribes, and would hopefully battle it out post-merge. The original Villain vs the Usurper, Megatron vs Starscream. Redemption Island 2: SoPa boogaloo, gave us the matchup of a provider challenge beast, vs the show's clown... Liiiike,,, ok.
Probably because they felt that Ozzy could get the most out of the Redemption Island battleback gimmick, and because he had no obvious foils, Coach could at least provide some entertainment.
I don’t know if this is 100% true but from memory the returnees for South Pacific was meant to be coach and Phillip but Phillip couldn’t pass medical or something like that
The second Redemption Island season was supposed to be Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca who were still together at the time, but they didn't want to play against each other
8:32 Oh wow! I didn't even catch that the first time I watched One World! Sadly though, it confirms what I already thought. I was convinced that racism was (for the second time) the major reason he was so horrible to Christina - even quite literally telling her to commit suicide to avoid getting voted out - and wanted to get her out so badly - even quite literally mentioning he wanted to throw the next challenge just to get rid of her! *That* moment *confirms* it! Yes, it was clearly racism - no surprise!
There were really only five players on Game Changers that could legitimately be called Game Changers: Sandra, Tony, and Cirie, Ciera, and Malcolm. (Those last two are fringe cases but made notable moves during their previous games.) Ozzy, JT, and Andrea aren't Game Changers but are notable legacy players so their presence is excusable. Aubry, Tai, Debbie, Zeke, and Michaela aren't Game Changers at all but they're newly-minted All-Stars so you might as well bring them in now since you're not likely to have another All-Star season before 40 (which would end up being winners-only so none of them would qualify). Caleb, Hali, Culpepper, Varner, Sierra, Troyzan, and even the eventual winner Sarah, had no business being in a season going by that name.
I think Ozzy is a game changer for actually getting himself voted out and sent to Redemption Island in his third season. That was pretty revolutionary strategy. JT, I would argue was a game changer more in his second season, given that he was the first person to give someone from the other tribe an immunity idol found at his tribe. Andrea, I agree isn’t really a game changer, although she was the first woman to ever be voted out with an idol in her pocket on her second season, so maybe that counts for something.
To defend Brad (as is my lot in life), figuring out how to maneuver Redemption Island on a Blood vs Water season to try and minimize social blowback feels like it counts as innovative enough to justify him being on there. At least, to me
My guesses for the 50 cast (TOTALLY not satire): Men: Boston Rob Rupert Boston Rob (Again) Q Carson Carson's puzzle company Yam Yam Jelinsky Boston Rob (A Third Time) Women: Carolyn Candice (From Raro Tribe) Amber (Just so the three Robs will say yes) NaOnka Purple Kelly Whoever wins Forty Several (Unless it's Andy or those other guys I can't remember the name of right now) Angelina Natalie's jacket Chrissy (I genuinely want her back, so this is my one serious hope 😂)
Tbh, when Amber first returned in All-Stars, I can't remember her at all. Even after learning she was from The Australian Outback, I still can't. Then she won All-Stars while I'm still trying to figure out who she was. lol Then I came across a snippet of the scene where Jerri was fantasizing abt a chocolate-covered Colby, that's only when I noticed Amber was the other girl laughing along. That's the only recollection I have of her from Australia without rewatching it.
Youre hilarious! 😂 My favorite is your mention about throwing a dart anywhere in Game Changers and not hitting one. 😂😂 I hope for the 50th Season its another Second Chance season. No past winners, no players who have played more than once, and please a new location ❤ I dont care if they put the most random new era or old school player CBS and Jeff needs to Cambodia this season!
My personal choice for the worst returning player for each returnee season: All-Stars: Amber (Easily the least memorable or interesting player who was brought back) Guatemala: Bobby Jon (If I have to pick him or Stephenie, I'd ultimately have to say him, since Steph had a bit more of an impact) Micronesia: Ami (Easily the least memorable of all the favorites brought back) Heroes Vs. Villains: Candice (I was also considering Randy and Tyson, since all three of them are not that interesting) Redemption Island: Rob (If I have to pick between one of them, I'm always taking Russell, since Russell will forever be a god) South Pacific: Ozzy (Again, if I HAVE to pick between one of them, Coach is just so much more interesting and entertaining of a player) Philippines: Russell (Penner is too interesting to cut, and Skupin literally fell in the damn fire, so by default I have to cut Russell) Caramoan: Dawn (I literally did not want to see her back after how her entire tribe treated Cochran the first time) Blood Vs. Water: Laura M. (Either her or Monica was my choice, since neither one was interesting or deserving enough to return) Cambodia: Monica (So many uninteresting, boring, or undeserving women just get randomly called back for little to no reason) Game Changers: Hali (Literally just why? At least Sarah, Brad, Andrea, and Sierra made a LITTLE bit of sense despite their boringness) Edge Of Extinction: Joe (All four choices made sense, but Joe is just the type I'm so over and am tired of seeing) Winners At War: Michele (Still will always be one of the least deserving and worst winners I've ever seen) 45: Bruce (Just sticking to my 'doing every single returnee season', so by default I have to say him, even though I love Bruce)
Michele to me has become one of my top 10 favorite players because I realize her gameplay, especially in WaW, really reflects what a Survivor is. In Kaoh Rong, everything goes well for her until she knows she has to make the necessary decisions to let go of her allies to give herself the best chance of winning, and along the way she connected with people to where they actually showed no bitterness towards her decisions (besides Neil). In WaW, she was on a island all on her own for most of the season and despite being at the bottom and going to more tribals than anyone, she still fought hard, never gave into following Tony like everyone else since it got most of them eliminated, and looked for any opportunity she could to last another day. If she wasn't sitting next to Tony in the end, I think she could have had a shot at winning a 2nd time, and even the jury said she would have gotten more votes from them if that wasn't the case.
With Amber and Parvati being the first 2 on the list, seems like the optimal strategy going into a returnee season is to vote off whoever you think is the season’s WTF returnee because they’ll win if you don’t
My conspiracy theory is that Hali was on Game Changers because Jeff is attracted to her. I know he dated Julie Berry and I thought I read that he dated Jenn Lyon from Palau but I can't find it for some reason. But he did say she was beautiful.)
Although odd in the group. Amber won a lot of survivor beauty polls when outback aired. The main reason she joined (and so did jenna l) was because a bunch of survivor sweethearts like neleh, colleen, etc declined
It’s ironic, because I swear for some seasons the WINNER was the most bizarre pick. Honourable mentions go to John Cochran and Sarah Lacina from Caramoan and Game Changers. I’ve also seen some second chancers that either got booted first in one case TWICE (looking at you, Francesca Hogi!) or their novelty ran out and they just seemed like they were cast because CBS wills it (Rupert Boneham on BVW) or in a few cases, allegedly FAKED appendicitis (Colton Cumbie). And the less we say about Philip on Caramoan the better.
My pick for Cambodia is Wentworth. Obviously she had a legendary run that season and I’m glad she was on it, but she was just a random pre-merger before that. The fact that fans voted for her over T-Bird still blows my mind
She's probably been commanding the International Space Station but someone else got the credit because she's such an Important Top-Secret Person that they couldn't let on she was there because of reasons that only make sense to Debbie.
Why would Parvati be a worse pick then Amy? I really dont know her at all before fans vs favorites? Is there an explanation for this? ( Could be because i only watch videos about survivor on youtube and i dont watch the actual show so an answer would be appreciatied! )
While she is kind of forgotten player now, At her original seaskn Ami was a massive character and was possibly the biggest Villain the show had post all stars
The only players I consider to be game changers from Game Changers were Sandra for being the first person to win multiple seasons and JT for being the first person to have a perfect game. I understand why some players like Ozzy and Cirie were included since they are iconic, but the rest of the cast was made up of very random players. And before anyone mentions Tony, I wouldn't have considered him to be a game changer at the time, after WAW I would.
Cirie was the 1st person to ever orchestrate a 3-2-1 vote and is the only person to ever convince someone to give up the immunity necklace (with the help of Natalie & Amanda). She was also the only 3 time player at that point to never be voted off in a normal majority vote. Cirie is definitely a game changer. I don’t really have a case for anyone else that was casted tho…
All-stars:Amber Micronesia:Parvati HvV:Candice(Shouldve been on Villain) Caramoan:Francesca BvW:Colton(Like really?) Second Chance:Wentworth(probably the best wtf pick for a returnee) Game Changers:Everyone(except Tony, Ozzy, Sandra, Cirie and probably Ciera,Malcolm, and Aubry)
Ben should NOT have been on the All Winners season. I'm sorry. There was one twist winner in all of Survivor history, and you out him on the season? No. Fabio, Todd, Earl, Cochran, Mike or somebody should've had that spot.
Candace would’ve been a more logical pick for Micronesia. Prior to Micronesia, Candace was more popular than Parvati. From Billy’s love for her, to her NSFW showmance with Adam, to the mutiny, to being exiled countless times and desperately eating sea cucumber, she was quite a memorable reality show character. However, by the time of HvV, I did think it was a bit odd that they brought her back because she had been off of the radar for quite a long time.

It should be a first boot season that would be so good
Sooo another second chance season
“Human embodiment of a backwards baseball cap” is hilariously accurate
Calling Adam “the human embodiment of a backwards baseball cap” is strangely accurate
3:50 "I'm going to lure him into my web" Thank you, UA-cam subtitles, for doing right by us for once and turning literal gibberish into a coherent idea.
I love Hali Ford more than most and even I knew it had to be her for Game Changers. Hell, even SHE knew it had to be her for Game Changers.
I need her back again! She’s clearly smart, but no one plays with her
I would love that, no lie. Hali Ford for 50 lol
Hali herself being confused why she was asked back will never not be hilarious
I will always defend Candice. She always played the game hard each time she played and no one really fits the same archetype as her. I was never surprised to see her on her two returning appearances .
I like her too. She’s not the greatest player ever, but the ridicule is just silly and unwarranted.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Candice was originally supposed to be cast as a villain for HvV but it was switched because they couldn't have Amanda, James, Cirie, and Parvati start out on the same tribe again because it would be a repeat of Micronesia.
Savage campaigned HARD for second chances, I don’t think he got the fewest votes of who got on.
Savage campaigned hard but so did everyone else on the bubble who got on (Wentworth, Monica, Varner). I could definitely see an argument for any of the four of them though!
@@IdoledOut I wasn't a fan at the time of Cambodia but did Kimmi campained a lot? I know she had her iconic moment but she was still a pre merge boot 15 years ago at that point so I was really suprised to see her on
@@Sassytravis from the "supposedly leaked voting results", Savage placed 11th and got in only because Mike won
I'd argue that Corinne could also be considered a fan favorite, because she had her people who loved her post Gabon
@@NYChica23 On the other hand, Corinne was quite literally booed at the live reunion. I think being generally disliked with a small handful of fans does not make for a fanfavorite.
I’m not sure if this is true, but I heard it on Reddit that Candice was apparently the 1st pick and Parvati was her replacement. Candice had to decline in order to prepare for her exams.
4:36
I think a lot of these people were alternates or at least not first picks. Amber probably wouldn't have made it on All Stars if Sandra, Elisabeth, OR Colleen said yes. And Parvati was probably behind Candice and Courtney.
And they chose her over Neleh.
@@queenzoroark I don't know how true it is but I've always heard a rumor that they picked Amber because she was willing to wear a bikini and Neleh wasn't. Normally I'd say that sounds preposterous, but seeing how they treated Purple Kelly in S21 I can kinda believe it.
@@BrettMKW It wouldn't surprise me if that was true, but I'm guessing it was more "If we're going with a young attractive girl no one remembers, let's go with the one from the more popular season".
I always love the various insults you come up with to roast players but calling Adam “the human embodiment of a backwards baseball cap” is the greatest thing i’ve ever heard i love creative roasts like that
Savage was REALLY likely to return on Cambodia. Also YESSS #ANDREWSAVAGEFOR50
I also think you underestimate the merge boots of those first few seasons.
All Stars: Amber
Micronesia: Parvati
Heroes vs Villains: Danielle (Candice made sense; however, she should’ve remained on the villains tribe where she was originally intended to be by production)
Caramoan: Francesca
Blood vs Water: Colton
Cambodia: Kelley Wentworth
Game Changers: Hali
Winners At War: Nick/Wendell/Ben/Adam/Michele/Denise/Danni (Literally all of them could’ve been replaced imo)
Denise, Danni and Nick just don’t provide good tv.
Wendell & Adam can make for good tv, but just aren’t compelling people. I also think that the casual viewers didn’t even love them all that much.
Lastly, Ben and Michelle are kinda dodo’s. And like…so is Fabio, but at least he’s endearing. Ben & Michelle on the other hand….they’re just ditzy & stale all around. And kinda strange.
There were definitely better options
All Stars: Amber
Micronesia: Parvati
Heroes vs Villains: Danielle
Caramoan: Most of the Favorites
Blood vs Water: Monica
Cambodia: Wentworth
Game Changers: Most of the cast
Winners at War: Danni
I still love Hali's, "I didn't consent."
Here are my picks:
All stars: amber
Fans vs favorites: Amanda
Hvv: Danielle
Caramoan: Francesca
Blood vs water: Colton
Second chance: wentworth
Game changers: everyone but probably hali
Winners at war: nick because he sucks
Most of the game changers cast. Apparently Rob Cesternino was contacted around this time to gauge interest, and he didn't say no. That we might've had someone like this makes me wonder who else was out there, and even more about how we got the cast we did.
Thank you! I’ve always said that Candice was never a hero. She was a bigger villain than Parvati on Cook Islands.
Parvati was supposed to be on Heroes and Candice was supposed to be on Villains at first but production didn’t want too many Micronesia people on the same tribe so they switched them last minute
@@Josh_Kolbo I remember that
6:11 A sentence I never thought I would hear.
Yall know that move Candice made could to take as loyal, as she is reuniting with her original tribe mates.
Since we don't know the theme, speculation is gonna run wild till the cast of 50 is revealed. One thing i know for sure is, someone we've seen play before is a future Sole Survivor, we just don't know who it is yet
Candice, the "Hero" of Raro tribe!
I was so excited for season 38 for him to see him say who is worse Joe, Kelly, David, or Aubrey.
@@IdoledOut David’s best ally was a better player then him (also known as Rick Devon’s) he should get more attention in my opinion
@@IdoledOut also if you could make up any cast what would it be?
@@Stargazing1Rick Devins was not a better player than David…
"Human embodiment of a backwards baseball cap" made me spit out my drink from laughing so hard!
"I swear babe I've changed"
-Colton on Blood vs. Water
Maybe I’m missing some context for Cambodia, like I wasn’t there for the voting and stuff but how was Kelly wentworth not the most out there pick?
I’m guessing Savage wasn’t supposed to be in Cambodia because he had 11th most votes out of the men; but because Mike won Worlds Apart, he was ineligible to return & gave Savage the spot.
So he was the one replaced Mike. Makes sense since Mike won and couldn’t be on anymore
Curious to know who your pick would be among the four returnees on S38: Edge of Extinction?
We need to see the best Survivor archetypes in the show’s history.
I did like Parvati during her first season but in retrospect, I do agree that I would have never expected her to be a returnee let alone the great player she turned out to be... If anything, after her first return, I usually got really excited on left field choices cause at least most of the time we get great choices
Troyzan is NOT a gamechanger
To be fair half that cast wasn’t
@@corksauls9403bold of you to assume that the other half was
Then it's no surprise as to why he wasn't on the season
I do wonder how he would do if he was though, imma go out on a limb here and say I think he could make it to the end
@@roguemerc didn’t Jeff say at the time that these players didn’t have the best social game so their returns would allow them to change the script?
I don’t know if this is 100% true but from memory the returnees for South Pacific was meant to be coach and Phillip but Phillip couldn’t pass medical or something like that
The second Redemption Island season was supposed to be Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca who were still together at the time, but they didn't want to play against each other
Hailey gave us “I don’t consent”. I will always be happy with her casting on game changers
At least, to me
My guesses for the 50 cast (TOTALLY not satire):
Men:
Boston Rob
Rupert
Boston Rob (Again)
Q
Carson
Carson's puzzle company
Yam Yam
Jelinsky
Boston Rob (A Third Time)
Women:
Carolyn
Candice (From Raro Tribe)
Amber (Just so the three Robs will say yes)
NaOnka
Purple Kelly
Whoever wins Forty Several (Unless it's Andy or those other guys I can't remember the name of right now)
Angelina
Natalie's jacket
Chrissy (I genuinely want her back, so this is my one serious hope 😂)
Alternates: Bhanu, Phillip, Hannah, Wendy Jo
nah we gotta get dan from 38 back out there
Carson’s puzzle company 😂😂
Na Onka is tv gold. She should be back for the entertainment she'd bring
Candice is obviously a Hero because she helped someone find love. Can’t be more heroic than that
Shut up and paddle is my favorite survivor quote
Tbh, when Amber first returned in All-Stars, I can't remember her at all. Even after learning she was from The Australian Outback, I still can't. Then she won All-Stars while I'm still trying to figure out who she was. lol Then I came across a snippet of the scene where Jerri was fantasizing abt a chocolate-covered Colby, that's only when I noticed Amber was the other girl laughing along. That's the only recollection I have of her from Australia without rewatching it.
Blood vs Water had Diane Ogden as a possible pick to play again, her son even wanted to play but she decided to refuse the invite
I feel like season centred around Ozzy vs. Coach showdown deserves a shoutout even there both surefire returnees in a normal context.
Wake up idoled out posted
Candice on the Heroes Tribe
Why?
Youre hilarious! 😂 My favorite is your mention about throwing a dart anywhere in Game Changers and not hitting one. 😂😂
I hope for the 50th Season its another Second Chance season. No past winners, no players who have played more than once, and please a new location ❤ I dont care if they put the most random new era or old school player CBS and Jeff needs to Cambodia this season!
My personal choice for the worst returning player for each returnee season:
All-Stars: Amber (Easily the least memorable or interesting player who was brought back)
Guatemala: Bobby Jon (If I have to pick him or Stephenie, I'd ultimately have to say him, since Steph had a bit more of an impact)
Micronesia: Ami (Easily the least memorable of all the favorites brought back)
Heroes Vs. Villains: Candice (I was also considering Randy and Tyson, since all three of them are not that interesting)
Redemption Island: Rob (If I have to pick between one of them, I'm always taking Russell, since Russell will forever be a god)
South Pacific: Ozzy (Again, if I HAVE to pick between one of them, Coach is just so much more interesting and entertaining of a player)
Philippines: Russell (Penner is too interesting to cut, and Skupin literally fell in the damn fire, so by default I have to cut Russell)
Caramoan: Dawn (I literally did not want to see her back after how her entire tribe treated Cochran the first time)
Blood Vs. Water: Laura M. (Either her or Monica was my choice, since neither one was interesting or deserving enough to return)
Cambodia: Monica (So many uninteresting, boring, or undeserving women just get randomly called back for little to no reason)
Game Changers: Hali (Literally just why? At least Sarah, Brad, Andrea, and Sierra made a LITTLE bit of sense despite their boringness)
Edge Of Extinction: Joe (All four choices made sense, but Joe is just the type I'm so over and am tired of seeing)
Winners At War: Michele (Still will always be one of the least deserving and worst winners I've ever seen)
45: Bruce (Just sticking to my 'doing every single returnee season', so by default I have to say him, even though I love Bruce)
Michele's WaW gameplay really made me respect her as a player. I always liked her tho
With Amber and Parvati being the first 2 on the list, seems like the optimal strategy going into a returnee season is to vote off whoever you think is the season’s WTF returnee because they’ll win if you don’t
Savage is randomly such a memorable character. I actually like him
My conspiracy theory is that Hali was on Game Changers because Jeff is attracted to her. I know he dated Julie Berry and I thought I read that he dated Jenn Lyon from Palau but I can't find it for some reason. But he did say she was beautiful.)
So heroic of Candice to be on the video thumbnail.
I really hope 49 is Second Chance 2 and 50 is just legends . By doing second chance sooner you get more space for 3-4 time returnees in 50.
Funny how most of these casts turn out rly well
Although odd in the group. Amber won a lot of survivor beauty polls when outback aired. The main reason she joined (and so did jenna l) was because a bunch of survivor sweethearts like neleh, colleen, etc declined
I liked the video even tho nothing will be cooler than Savages fit. That beanie tho? He was hoping for Robb Z second chance to bust out the skateboard
I would love to see Shan (41) Michael Bradshaw, Drew (45) Soda, Wentworth, and some of the younger ones from early era survivor. comeback.
It would be so awesome to see Todd and Fabio in winners at war
Millennials vs gen x is my favorite season so I loved that Adam was on WaW!
And the less we say about Philip on Caramoan the better.
im happy Hali proved herself in game changers and made history now she is a game changers
I want you to make a fan casting video for s50 or at least fixing the cast of game changers
I am also extremely confused why sugar was on the heroes tribe
My pick for Cambodia is Wentworth. Obviously she had a legendary run that season and I’m glad she was on it, but she was just a random pre-merger before that. The fact that fans voted for her over T-Bird still blows my mind
I would love to see Debbie. What crazy jobs she has since she last played.
She's probably been commanding the International Space Station but someone else got the credit because she's such an Important Top-Secret Person that they couldn't let on she was there because of reasons that only make sense to Debbie.
I think they should do a season of players who were voted out first in their season
What i wouldn't give in a timeline where Fabio and Boston Rob work together
Bhanu is my guess for the wtf pick of 50

Most and least fitting tribes (or tribe names) in your opinion?
unfortunately, kelley(wentworth) should not have been voted on 2nd chance. she is a legend now, but how did she win over t-bird
She campaigned herself really well which is how she got on but I’m assuming she probably barely made it on and it was barely enough to make it in
"Because they're attractive" will answer the question of why so many players got asked back after their first season. Especially in the early years
So glad I’m not the only one that thinks Parvati as a favorite is a wtf choice.
But boy was it worth it.
You didnt count Jenna Lewis on all stars, she was more random probably since it was 3/4 years ago at that time
What about Edge of Extinction. Guess you were talking about all returning players. But I am always up for a Wentworth return. :)
All-stars:Amber
Micronesia:Parvati
HvV:Candice(Shouldve been on Villain)
Caramoan:Francesca
BvW:Colton(Like really?)
Second Chance:Wentworth(probably the best wtf pick for a returnee)
Game Changers:Everyone(except Tony, Ozzy, Sandra, Cirie and probably Ciera,Malcolm, and Aubry)
Candace was supposed to be on Micronesia at first, but she was too busy with nursing school at the time. Parvati took her place as a alternate instead
@@auguststrain3462 and now imagine this timeline: Candice being one of the most iconic viallins in survivor and being on eof the iconic black widows, while Parv is a forgotten flirty girl from Raro
