I bought one of these brand new when they first came out. Rode thousands of miles loaded down with camping gear. Everything from backroads to 4 lane highways. It was more than capable of maintaining whatever speed I needed. I think I did the drive sprocket one tooth eventually. But overall was an awesome bike. Really liked it.
Just my first bike at 55!!! Yes it is a 2008 Volcan with less than 5700 miles on it! ❤ I got my license in my early 30’s and never got a bike…..I paid $1800 for mine, no dents dings, never been dropped and was garage kept….it was the best investment of my adult life! Beautiful bike and great video!
@@IAMAYESHAJAE Congratulations! Better late than never😎 and that's a smoking DEAL even I would've bought it😂 Thank You Ayesha and ride safe out there ✌️
Killer ride man! I want to get one as my first bike! I know people usually say go lower, but I dont have a ton of money and do not want to buy something that I wil grow out of in one season or less. I have seen a lot of people say that it shakes a lot on the highway. Has this been your experience?
@sleezy5914 Thanks dude! This is a GREAT first bike for beginners to even experienced riders that everyone would honestly enjoy. In the 900cc cruiser class this was my FAVORITE and why I bought it after doing research. It doesn't shake, it just gets buzzy a bit but nothing to worry about mainly the mirrors but still can tell what's what around you. And the motor is a high reving engine so at 75mph or above the engine may sound like it's over revving but it's not. This bike could use a 6th gear or slightly bigger sprocket to bring the rpms down but never bothered me enough to do it honestly lol The only thing I did on this bike was different mirrors and a saddleman solo seat. But when I got it, it had already cobra exhaust (I removed the baffles) and a power commander. Unfortunately my last video where I test road that harley LOWRIDER ST I actually traded my bike for it only because I plan on going long trips not saying this bike is NOT capable of doing it which has been done alot. But I honestly wanted an upgrade and going from 900cc to almost 2000cc was a difference and a nice upgrade for about the same weight. Plus I absolutely LOVED the wind protection and the style that had me in awe since they first came out. And was a nice Christmas gift to me I got for myself😂. The Vulcan is a bike I WILL buy again if I find it for the right price. I will want the 900 classic in black and white though. But for the money this bike is the most affordable, reliable, and easy to ride bikes and even practiced a lot of slow speed riding where those skills transferred over from my Vulcan to the Harley and everything to riding is the same great experience like they say 55mph is 55mph. So YES buy it. And if you ever have any questions feel free to message me man I'd be more than happy to help! Good Luck!
Will do, just been working a lot and have been out of town because of work. Next weekend most likely I'll record some videos if I don't work that weekend. Thank you for requesting! Didn't think people would actually enjoy these videos 😂
i have a vulcan classic Lt 900 / 2009 great bike for beginners , and its my 1st bike as well it rides smooth and is comfy @70Mph or below had to change the seat to saddle-man but i need that 6th gear nice upload , stay safe
Yes I agree 💯 and yes I had a saddleman seat on it as well. I traded it for a Harley Lowrider ST a few days before Christmas as a present to me lol I'll still upload videos🤘 I also have a Yamaha warrior 1700 that I'm working on currently as well. It'll be some cool videos coming up! Like wise dude ride safely out there!✌️
Absolutely!!! I'm a big guy myself and it was really comfy. The only thing needed was an upgraded seat which I went with the saddlemen solo explorer. And that motorcycle isn't going to care how much you weigh and is still nimble enough to move around. And still looks like a big bike!

What type of exhaust do you have? Sounds good.
Thanks dude! It's a Cobra Speedster exhaust and have the baffles removed as well. Thank you for watching!
Nice sound what speed were you cruising at?
@@stevezander8650Thanks dude! The speed limit, 65 mph
@AllGearsSteve of course you were 😉
The way those cars acted when the ambulance was trying to get through the intersection was pretty sad.
