Man I like the 2025 Kawasaki color schemes for the Vulcan series bikes. Looking at the Africa Twin but in case (as a backup) also all the Vulcan cruisers. The 900’s are great looking bikes as are the Vulcan S. The Cafe version with the gray/blue is one good looking ride. Just need to test ride them all.
I own the 2017 Vulcan S 650, and its performance seamlessly combines the agility of a sports bike with the iconic aesthetics of a cruiser. Only those unfamiliar with larger bikes might find the weight a concern, for seasoned riders, it stands out as the best overall bike in its class.
Had a 2020 Cafe model for a couple of years after taking a hiatus from riding. Absolutely loved all 6k miles I put on her. Only reason I sold her was because I found a z900rs Cafe and couldn't resist. I'll never forget how cool the Vulcan S felt. Very quick machine. I was mopping up light to light on any cruiser that wanted a go and took her on the interstate often and it handled it with ease.
Great review ! Based on your review I am going to buy this bike. I live in Germany & I test rode it today .In Germany on certain autobahn stretches we don’t have any speed limit so I push this bike to its limit I think 190 km/hr Thanks 🙏
I finalize my purchase decision based on this video excellent video and I subscribed you’re right this is an awesome bike that’s affordable. You can cruise on the highway and it’s probably gonna be great around town. I’m going to mountain motorsports in Marietta and buying my bike tomorrow afternoon after work.
anyone watching, wondering about the ergo fit system. they have different seats and different positions for the foot controls. as far as the right side controls, you don't need anything to change em, you just remove two bolts, adjust it to one of the 3 positions, and tighten down the bolts in their new position. as far as the rod for the gear shift lever on the left side, there are 3 different ones, they cost about 15 bucks from the dealer if you need a different one. im 5'6 with a 27ish inch inseam and can ride easily in the nearest or mid peg position with the mid seat installed. if you're of regular or tall stature, you'll probably want the extended seat and gear shift rod.
I stopped in a Harley dealership a few months ago to see the new Nightster, what a piece of junk. The tank is tiny, the seat felt like a piece 2X8 hardwood and the rear suspension felt like a hard tail. Then I stopped in a Kwasaski dealership just down the road and sat on a Vulcan S. Completely different story. The seat was very comfortable, the tank felt just the right size, the reach to the bars was perfect, the foot controls, perfect, the rear susension had some cush to it, the gauge cluster looked great. It was a satin sage green and I LOVE the color. Then I asked myself, who on earth would be dumb enough to but a Harley Nightster for twice the price and get half the bike the Kawaski Vulcan S is?

Well you just clearly did not know what you were up to. Nobody buys a nightster for comfort. You should be dead aware of the fact that you’re giving up comfort for curb appeal.
@@mithrandirthegrey7644 Nobody with any brains would buy a Harley. They are some of the worse junk on the road. I've owned many motorcycles since 1967 and Harley has always been the biggest piece of junk. They are Loud, they stink, leak oil (nowadays leaks engine coolant, too) They ride like an old Interbational dumo truck. Who would want one.... not me. I want something I can enjoy riding.
Just got this exact one brand new for $7,349. I absolutely love it. It's a fun bike and very underrated, I'd highly recommend this over HD any day lol!
This is my first and current bike. I am loving it. My only gripe is the lack of a slipper clutch which the Honda Rebel 500 has. Hence that tire slip on your video when you shifted down abruptly.
That's still a Perfect bike- I loved it !!!There Perfect mix of power ,speed and economy!! Hey thanks for watching and Commenting my friend!! Ride Safe!!
I have the Insta360 X3 and do motovlogs on my motorcycle too. I would suggest turning the camera where the slim side of the body is facing forward so the chances of the lens/touchscreen getting hit by debris is lower. I've had 2 cameras where the lens were cracked in the position that you have your's now.
I bought this bike (same color and all) back in October as my first bike. Absolutely love it. Have ridden several others since and still love my Vulcan. Only thing I’m looking to change up soon is an exhaust. Other than that an amazing bike through and through.
Just got a 2022 with 0km for 7k$ (a guy bought it leasing but never paid) will get it next week. This will be my 10th bike in 8 years of licence. I plan to ride across the UK with it next summer (I'm from France myself) Hope I will enjoy it as you do ! I liked the test ride anyway :). Ride safe ! I really enjoyed your review !
Greetings from Germany, great video! Just got mine a few Weeks ago as my first bike and in my opinion the Arrow Exhaust sounds the best and adds loads to the personality of the bike. As for the beginner aspect: it sure helps to have both feet on the ground even tho as a 6´3 rider most bikes would fit me i guess. Still having a bit of an issue with slow speed maneuvers and cornering but it´s probably because of my lack of experience and skill, although i think having a shorter wheel base could help a little with that problem. Also the seat will definitely be replaced by something more comfortable i feel a lot of vibration in my tailbone and spine after about 1,5h of riding. Maybe the more experienced riders could share their knowledge on how long it took them to learn how to properly ride. ;)
I've been riding since I was 6 yrs old, i still learn something all the time- and I'm Thankful for that. You'll really have a better of understanding of motorcycle handling after about the 1st year. That's so cool, that's such a good problem to have- got to go look at bikes tomorrow. Enjoy yourself tomorrow you lucky dog! Let me know what you decide and please Stay in Touch!!!!
This motorcycle is awesome! I just bought my brand new second one, it is that awesome. Fast, Light, Reliable, Confortable, Fairly cheap, ... bottom line: you can't go wrong with the Vulcan S.
I got a 2023 in september. The only difference between the vulcan s and the vulcan s cafe Is the little windshield and some color schemes. But it's about a thousand dollars more m s rp cancel. I picked up a 2023 non cafe from good times Kawasaki in Sacramento in September. With zero miles. I just rolled over past 2000 miles. So far i average 42mpg while riding fairly aggressive on surface streets and a pretty regular 75mph on the highway. Active fuel economy says its getting 50mpg on the highway at 74-ish. Little things you missed are there is a hi/low flash to pass button on the backside of the left controls. The fuel tank holds a belief 3.4 Gallo. The fuel light will come on with a little under a gallon left
I like this bike bro! Unfortunately cruiser style bikes don't really do it for me, like riding a couch, lol. But some of it is also the engine, so maybe I might like it more with the ninja engine? Not sure. I daily ride a KTM DUKE 890r and I really like it! But I do miss my in line 4 engines and the smooth power delivery. So maybe do a ride with something that got an inline 4 around $10k? @@RayBowdenRides it's a lot of weight, I'm actually getting a brand new eliminator and an year used Vulcan at same price in India but then i looked into specs features and dimensions. Eliminator is a lot lighter and tech friendly but Vulcan is way powerful yet heavier. Was in a fix 🤷🏻🤷🏻 but then the question popped up, why, what extra does this Vulcan have which makes it heavier 🤔🤔 and i also couldn't find it.
@@RayBowdenRides quick look at the site, vulcan has a bigger, thicker frame with a more robust build pattern, obviously a larger engine, bigger fenders, bigger tank, bigger fairing (if you get it), taller bars, all that metal adds up pretty quick.
@@RayBowdenRides i've had it for about a week now and I absolutely love it. I used to talk so much smack about cruisers but the Vulcan is an exception. I still have that sports performance from the ninja 650 but in a cool cruiser style.

Jejeje. Un saludo desde España amigo.! ✌️
Albert, give me a Hollar sometime. I live in kansas. I'm pretty sure route 66 starts in south east kansas/ south west Missouri. I've been on parts of the route, but tbh, anytime I've driven to California, I go interstate. That being said, when I ride motorcycles, back highways are more enjoyable imo.. Anyways, enjoy your new ride! Hasta luego! & PEACE!
I just bought the 2024 vulcan s cafe abs. Theyre putting it together now and delivering to my house cause I only have a permit and can't drive on the freeway yet. MSF course in 3 weeks. I'm stoked. Im gonna practice around my house learning the clutch and stuff.
I bought the same one in Army green as well. Age 41, never ridden, so my bike stayed put in my garage for 4 months cause of work and being a bit intimidated. But I just passed my MSF course in their 250s. That was a quick boost to my riding skills/confidence to riding a 650.
I really like the color on that bike could you send me the color of the bike. i live in Louisiana if i was to buy that bike i was wondering if you could deliver or would be a charge to deliver? Really nice bike.
I wish it had more technology in it. Like the tft display the ninja500's and others have. Bluetooth connectivity. The kawasaki app. Looking for my first bike. But I love tech. Not sure which bike to go with as my first. So far, its the ninja 650 abs, z650 abs, vulcan s cafe abs
I had a 2018 model that was one of my regrets when I traded it in. Only a few issues, all of them resolvable. 1. That mirror problem is persistent. You always gotta check they're tight. 2. Exhaust end can needs replacing. The sound needs to be deeper. 3. Fuelling in Europe (I'm in the UK). You need a power commander module to override the Euro compliancy or you get jittery at low revs. 4. Battery charging problem at low revs. If you have a tracker or heated grips the bike needs to be ridden at higher revs and put on trickle in between every ride. Common issue with the 650 Kwak engines. Otherwise an amazing bike. Wish I'd kept mine. Gonna test ride an Eliminator and get one of those instead I think. I prefer lighter bikes these days and with that weight difference I doubt the extra power in the Vulcan will make much difference at road legal speeds or on the 0-60 time.
Redlines are there for a reason. The more times you venture into a bikes redline the more it reduces the lifespan of the engine. If you change the oil when you should and never redline it you will get 100,000 miles out of that bike. Otherwise you may only get 45,000 or if you are especially unlucky maybe only 25,000.
Hey Ray, I'm considering-by recommendation-from other bikers, the Suzuki Boulevard C50(802cc). It appears very "cruiser friendly". It's just above my "beginner's cc" range of 500-750cc's but I told them I'd have a look into that model. Doug🐻🧸👍🏍️😎
@@RayBowdenRides had you already done a video review on the Suzuki Boulevard C50? Give me that link please, otherwise I will have to wait for that video to come out! Doug🏍️👍🤓🧸🐻
Ray, I will keep looking for that link from you for the Suzuki Boulevard C50 motorcycle ride & review. I'll, also, looking Google for the same review! Doug 🤓👍🐻
Ray , still haven't found your link. I googled the C50 and got boat-loads of info on the bike. Love the appearance of the bike, yet, the tank is only 3.1 gallons in aize-boo hiss!😵other than that, I like the whole package of the bike. Only can achieve 125.3 .lies to the tankful of fuel.🥺 Doug
Wow! That fairing is exactly what that ugly bike needed! Now if it matched that light blue color that would be perfect. They need to make matching fairings for their bikes, at least this model S. It totally makes it look good.
Go watch a cat 🐈 video.... people talk how they talk... its a fun bike review...nothing scientific....put a lump of coal in your A#@ you'll have a diamond 💎 In 3 weeks ..

Road probably Vulcan , highway that's a tough one , Thanks for Commenting and watching 🙏🏻, let me know what you think!
Vulcan
just a question, why is VulcanS so heavy in comparison with Eliminatior..?? why....
That's a Great question, I really can't answer that - I'm going to research that. Hey thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Ride Safe and don't be a stranger!!
100 pounds difference approximately, but not real sure why the Vulcan is heavier.
@AST4EVER Great thoughts for sure! The Vulcan S doesn't have a slipper clutch either I believe.
@@RayBowdenRides quick look at the site, vulcan has a bigger, thicker frame with a more robust build pattern, obviously a larger engine, bigger fenders, bigger tank, bigger fairing (if you get it), taller bars, all that metal adds up pretty quick.
I'm about to get this one soon!! Great review on it.
Excellent, Leo let me know what you think about it when you get it! Stay in Touch.
@@RayBowdenRides i've had it for about a week now and I absolutely love it. I used to talk so much smack about cruisers but the Vulcan is an exception. I still have that sports performance from the ninja 650 but in a cool cruiser style.
@leochavez6833 yep. You done good!!!
Brilliant video you are helping me thinking about this bike 70 degrees in December I am from Scotland that would be a heatwave to us 😂
Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Don't be a Stranger!!
I would love to ride this bike. Great price
It's a Awesome bike, if you Ride it you'll probably end up buying it!! Hey thanks for watching and commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride safe and don't be a stranger!!!
I'm tempted ..maybe have to get a test ride.
Try one out! Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻
Im thinking about getting one. My dealer here has them listed. For 6,499 original sale is 8,099. Sweet deal. For the 2023 model.
Wow that's a deal , Get the bike. Hey thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, let me know what you do.
That’s a steal
@keithjones3714 thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride Safe.
Get one you won't regret it
It's probably non-ABS one. If you do want abs, it'll cost you more
Jejeje. Un saludo desde España amigo.! ✌️
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, Don't be a Stranger my friend!
&
PEACE!
Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
Definitely want to do Route 66. Also wanna go from CA to Ground Zero NYC on a motorcycle.
@turtle19dad that's a ride right there👍
I just bought the 2024 vulcan s cafe abs. Theyre putting it together now and delivering to my house cause I only have a permit and can't drive on the freeway yet. MSF course in 3 weeks. I'm stoked. Im gonna practice around my house learning the clutch and stuff.
Man AWESOME, Congratulations and stay in Touch!!!
Any updates?
I bought the same one in Army green as well. Age 41, never ridden, so my bike stayed put in my garage for 4 months cause of work and being a bit intimidated. But I just passed my MSF course in their 250s. That was a quick boost to my riding skills/confidence to riding a 650.
@allan8816 Heck yes! You got this Allen ,please Stay in Touch and have a AWESOME Holiday Weekend!!
Hahaha I did the same thing. Bought the bike before I had a license.
Hope you love it. I know I do. :)
Ride safe!
I really like the color on that bike could you send me the color of the bike. i live in Louisiana if i was to buy that bike i was wondering if you could deliver or would be a charge to deliver? Really nice bike.
Yes they will transport to Louisiana I'm sure they will be a fee! Call them 972-422-4111 Talk to Mike Canon!
Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch!!
Why would it have Bluetooth connectivity? It doesnt have a stereo
You have the best review videos! Good info & entertaining! Epic!🤙🏽
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻 KIRK! DON'T be a Stranger!!
Yep, you'll love the Eliminator!! Thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride Safe and stay in touch!!
Please do a review on the 2024!
Ok, Thanks for being apart of the Channel!
Only the paint job is different in the 2024 model.
what about traction control?
Don't really remember, Sorry about that!!
Nope. Fun in the damp. or terrifying.
Hello from Ukraine!) Nice ride. 60 on second... wow
Thanks for Commenting and participating in the channel 🙏🏻. Glad to have you.
ROGER THAT👍,Hey thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Have a Awesome Holiday season and don't be a Stranger!!!
Extended 5 year warranty. No mileage restriction. Blow that thing up every 4 months and they will replace it.
🤣, Your crazy! Thanks for commenting!
Please do a husky 701 video or ktm 690
I don't really have access to husky's or ktm unless there used, ill keep my eye open on what comes thru used promise!!
I would love to see how you like the Indian scout rogue
I'm sure I would love it!
Hey Ray, I'm considering-by recommendation-from other bikers, the Suzuki Boulevard C50(802cc). It appears very "cruiser friendly". It's just above my "beginner's cc" range of 500-750cc's but I told them I'd have a look into that model. Doug🐻🧸👍🏍️😎
Yea, Check it out- let me know what you think!
Doug 🤓👍🐻
@douglasradowick508 thank you 🙏🏻
Ray , still haven't found your link.
My only complaint is the ridiculously bright blue display that makes it hard to see at night.
Thanks for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
I don't have any problems seeing it at night and I have a bad astigmatism in one eye. I think the display is quite good, especially both day and night
@6speed636 Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻 my friend!! Have a AWESOME weekend and Don't be a Stranger!!
This bike is overdue for a redesign and an engine upgrade from Kawasaki.
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Maybe an updated design bit I don't think there is anything wrong with the engine at all.
Nah just need to make a 1000 version of it.
สวย❤❤
Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻
My one is and S and different colours, must only be the cafe one
Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride safe and don't be a Stranger!!!
Holds 9.6 ltr, full tank around 350 klm
Thanks for the info!
that's incorrect. It's 14L.
yes your right, sorry was informed wrong.@@SumPixelz
It's about 10L for the tank and 4L for the reserve
@wills5482 Roger that- Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel!!
It's the Versys 650 engine.
Yes I believe so, thks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
Same engine as the ninja. Just destroked a litte for more torque
@LuciferMorningstar-wk8qu thanks for Commenting- Have a Great weekend!!!
I think it might be faster than my 1984 Honda Shadow 750.
Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Have a Great Sunday!
Your shadow it a dinosaur
@kevinnelson2151 thanks for being apart of the Channel!!
RIde the 2024 kawasaki Versus and the 2024 nighthawk

Nothing beats a Honda
Thanks for Watching and Commenting Dragoon, 🙏🏻 Thanks for being apart of the Channel!
I LOVE Honda, but also the big 4.
Wow! That fairing is exactly what that ugly bike needed! Now if it matched that light blue color that would be perfect. They need to make matching fairings for their bikes, at least this model S. It totally makes it look good.
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
I didnt care for my S.. Kawasaki VULCAN CLASSIC 900 for me.
Awesome bike! I love them, vulcan Classic heck yes!!
This is the exact opposite of what i have heard about the Vulcan.
Ok, well thanks for Watching.
The Vulcan and the Vulcan S are different bikes.
@@hcdangan LoL agreed... absolute night and day.. nothing in common except similar seating.
