It's funny how every one of these videos give different instructions on how to do this. I guess good luck picking the right video with the most accurate information.

If only the staff of more hospitals- including UM hospitals - were to approximate this technique. Instead they take BP with a stressed patient sitting on a table, legs dangling and back unsupported as they take one measurement while asking questions. My BPs done myself at home or at a clinic are ALWAYS under 120/70, when done by "professionals" they are usually higher than 135/85.

That is so so true. Lol. Especially. When you are running late. That’s the worst.

Yeah, I feel pretty nervous when I go to the doctor on its own. But then when you have people asking questions and coming in and out of the room, it makes it worse. I'm sure this elevates the blood pressure.

I was told you have to have the cuff in line with your heart.
Also, I thought you had to crook your arm a bit so it wasn't dead flat.
Lastly, I do my morning reading still laying down (supine) in bed. Some people say this is the best way to take a reading?

What if you don't have a chair with arms arms or table that you can support yourself with? Can you do it from the edge of a bed?

I think this is right about food, you should not take it immediately after a meal as it will be higher, 2 hours sounds fair enough

Anybody know what is Hybetez Remedy about? I hear most people treat their high blood pressure issue inherently with this high blood pressure remedy.

Sorry I know this video is over 7 months old but I have a question. How often should you take you BP? Everyday?

",,,Take the reading a third time and record the lowest of the two." Does she mean the lowest of the three?
