Today its time to fly out the Hurricane Mk I/L in a Realistic Battle. Flew out with the Hurricane yesterday for the first time since release of 1.69, Regia Aeronautica. And found out exactly what this plane is about, lets see how it went. Hope you enjoy :)

The hurricane is my go to low tier seal club. The MK II b trop is my club of choice. Wish we had all the hawkers in game. Btw... What you think about that vid they did about the spits they Did? I thought it was absolutely fantastic.

Wonderful plane. Handles like an angel. Thats why I like italian 202 so much- it reminds me of the long hours I spent with the Hurricane when I picked up the War Thunder :).

I never understand half of these videos where people demonstrate how to take on some of these aircraft. The MiG 3 and I-153 would’ve seen me on their radar or their teammate would and I would’ve been dropped by them… especially since they both can outmaneuver the Hurricane.

Thanks for the compliment mate, i guess most ppl are satisfied with being entertained. It's only a certain kind of ppl that wants to improve themselves with blood, sweat and tears. Most ppl just want instant gratification and yolo their way trough WT.
This video has inspired me to play some more planes from other countries and to not worry about trying to grind as much as improve my skills

faced a shitload of lvl 100 players in the matches that i flew in it for some reason, so i wouldnt nessesarily say its always just sealclubbing at the lower tiers.

Jengar, you should really try the new SM 81. It's amazing at that 1.3 BR! Plus, I'm using it as a AC130 Spectre with good results. :-)

I was playing the hurricane and the thing really fights you. And can enter a spin of death that is very hard to pull out of. At higher speeds and on tight turns.
i never noticed that tbh. Feels like a solid plane to me. what were you doing to make that happen?
@@jengar6258 just turning tight. But not too tight. I'm not even turning as hard as I could be and it's almost always under 90% or at full power. It doesn't seem to matter what speed but if the aircraft turns tight and the wingtip start trailing white then it's just about to spin out and enter a belly down spin. Not a dive spin but a belly down end to end spin. Speed doesn't matter you start spinning at high speeds or even at low speeds but when you enter it takes ages to get out of it even if you know how. And at this point I kinda do but I'll still drop about 700 kilometres straight down. Normally that kills me.
okay, well, i never had this happen to me in the hurricane's, maybe i naturally keep myself out of that situation, i dont know. I just cant say that i recognize the problem with this plane.
@@jengar6258 I fly it because its half decent and has its perks but this turning problem is why I die the majority of the time. I know others are having this problem too
Ok now I have to fly this one. Do you have one on the beaufighter. Like to see how you fly it, any model. I usually do the one with the 75 m guns

I think the Hurricane is a monster of an aircraft when facing inexperienced players because of its maneuverability and low stall speed. However, it's energy retention is horrible due to its insane drag (thick wings, fuselage, weak engine). So against any experienced player flying a faster/better energy-retaining aircraft the Hurricane will suffer. It's much like the A6M in that sense.
its a little better though on this one compared to the mk IIB/trop. But all in all yeah, although one can also wreck havoc against experienced players tbh ;)

Hey jengar really helpful guide to the hurricane but in my experience I seem to get shot down really easily despite using evasive maneuvers such as a split S and hammerhead maneuvers but always seem to get shot down with a single short burst.. any tips on how to overcome this issue I'm having?
do you generally see the opponents that shoot you? or do they surprise you?
I see them and then take the appropriate evasive manoeuvres, only really seem to have the same issue with enemy spitfire mk 1s and got taken down by buffalo's a couple of times as well. Do not seem to have a problem getting out of the way and taking the opponent down in any other tier 1 or 2 aircraft and like i said previously, it's annoying when I look at the stats of the hurricane and it says good at taking some damage and then just getting mauled by 1 short burst off a spitfire or buffalo
maybe the evasives wernt sharp enough ;) getting hit is better prevented of course, it could also just be bad luck. I personally didnt have this feeling in the hurricane's.
I think I'm just gunna take a leaf outta your book while flying the hurricane, I am guilty of ragging her around a bit, I'm relatively new to the game and it could be a case of myself causing damage to the aircraft that it only takes an enemy 1 small burst to take me out.

Jengar there is no Spitfire F Xivc vs spitfire FR xive videos.. I bought the c on sale last year for £16 but my mate (wing man) was away on holiday and never, so I've had it mothballed all this time, is it worth me getting him to buy the discounted spitfire FR xive for under a tenner? More importantly I can't find any threads/vids on which is better, is it worth me paying out again at 65% off and buying both premium planes.. ( I do have stock spitfires as well btw at this level before I get negative comments)

buying spitfires on sale for those prices is always worth it in my opinion. Cant go wrong with a spit.
Hey jengar run into a bit of a problem and was hoping you could help. I have activated a wager without reading the requirements. I have not got tier 3 aircraft and that was one of the requirements, because of this wager I have been put into games with much higher tiers than myself and I've been having a really tough time getting good games because of the imbalance. Is there any way I can get rid of the wager so I can return to tier 2-3 matches?
Btw I'm playing on Xbox not pc

600m for wingmounted, 800 for centrally mounted!
