I'd say the re2001 is easier even on take off you just throttle up and it takes itself off. Very very little tail wash and can turn super well. Plus with bombs very versatile
Very nice video! :) Always wanted to like the Hurricane, cuz it's a classic, but too slow and loose too much energy in maneuvers for my taste. Maybe easy to fly but not that easy I to do good in I think. I would recommend the (also rather easy) Ki-43, P-36, or maybe the He 112 or F2A-3 over it. Two years ago I would've said the I-16, but it's not easy anymore.
Thanks a lot! I am also a big fan of the Ki-43. I agree the Hurricane's slower pace wont suite everyone, but generally its a beginner's plane so the slower speed should save them from some unhappy accidents ;)
But if you understand flight geometry fairly well you can use its weakness as an advantage. Being, the higher turn speed. A plane with higher overall engine speed will require a longer radius of turn wether it be left or right or in a loop. Thus giving the hurricane ample opportunity as long as you manage energy and take a pure angle rather than taking it lag.
Your last two (maybe three) (including this one) uploads were done at the same time as War Thunder’s recent The Shooting Range episodes. Are you doing this intentionally?
"They don't even fly Spitfires! They fly Hurricanes, isn't it? They is shit planes for remtards on free dinners!" - Armstrong & Miller, Comic Relief sketch with Mitchell & Webb
Great vid by the way as usual. I sneer at Hurricanes in my Spitfire for fun but honestly you're right... it's one of the best 2.0s to learn in. It and the 109 E-1 dominate the EC1 bracket. Well... Until a J22-A shows up anyway. Sweden too stronk.
As a teir 6 who does air arcade I personally find it anoying but still love the plane itself (it's my favorite plane irl) would you recommend I start going into sim games or staying in air arcade (usually what happens is I'll go for ground targets and have 6 or 7 people go after me at the same time)
The Hurricane was the first aircraft I flew in sim. My first battle with it I turnfought a zero. I actually won surprisingly. I guess we were both noob pilots at that time
I'm just getting into air simulator battles and find the hurricanes a breeze to fly. And the firefly is also very easy to fly. (On keyboard & mouse at least)
It is also rather large compared to other fighters in the same br however it's front view is rather small and it's firepower is obviously devastating so if you are confident enough go for a head on
Ok just tried out the hurri mk 2b at 2.3-3.3, and as a very new sim player personally i dont really like it at all, it takes hundreds of rounds to kill things and my aim isnt good enough to do that even with 12 guns, and i actually much prefer russian planes, specifically the yak-3 and yak-9u, in terms of armarment. It does handle well but the guns are a deal breaker for me at this point. Good video tho, once i get half decent aim or once i get the oppurtunity to use it in a 1.0-2.0 game im sure it would be a blast.
It could be a case of practice as well. When I was new to sim I could barely get any decent kills without wasting hundreds of rounds of ammo. Thats why I liked the hurricane because it had lots of ammo.
What if i get into a fight with Zero, those fighters always manage to kill me, i always try to avoid them when i use a Spitfire or a Hurricane but sometimes i get unlucky and get into a fight with them
I would like some tutorial how to look around when i have no VR or tracking. I really strugle now, i can only fly bombers, sometimes i do ground pounding. Even that is hard tho, since I have problem to detect what tank i have hitted previously, so again, i stick to bombs...and that can get boring after a while.
There are some very cheap head tracking setups out there - easily below $50. But if you really can't get head tracking I recommend setting up some buttons to move your head around. Like the hat on a joystick
@@martincoufalik9101 I don't have one if u play on controller which I reccomend if u don't have flight stick I use the full right joystick to look around a then click it down to reset I works really well for mw
@@jamieokeeffe2278 no i have joystick. But i have figured out how to do that. You need webcam, software Opentrack and AI track. Bam, you have headtracking. Not the best one, but pretty decent one and cheap.
Is there a slower variant of the Hurricane? I really like this plane but it unfortunately does feel on the borderline of being too fast in some situations.
The default pilot avatar just makes the "my first fighter" bit perfect.
I just decided to drop higher tiers and return to the beginning. Man using this thing against these kids just isn’t morally right
Idk, I just love these early ww2 planes as they look and fly. Just.. perfect!
Much more fun to play than anythíng else.
I just unlocked the hurricane I’m going to have so much fun at rank one😈
The hurricane certainly is a LOT of fun ;)
I love the Hurricane Mkiib, but I wish it had more ammo because my aim is still terrible.

Very entertain video, your voice is nice to listen to. Good luck in your youtube career.
My only problem with the hurries are their speed but overall theyre good
Their speed is definitely their main weakness

Legit it is a coincidence, I think THEY are copying ME

Thanks! Those Swedes do indeed be strong xD
Love me a hurricane but I just can't stand the 7.7mm guns on the early tier ones
First Spitfire and Hurricame are my favourite sim planes.
And it can climb as an F16 and follow up FW's and kill them from 1 km away! It happens all the time.

Its quite a fun plane!
I'd say the ki10/I 15 are easier, due to the lower quality of player at tier 1
The plane that Douglas Bader flew the ace with artificial legs
I feel like the equipment you use for the game, the harder it gets
Lol very well presented ❤

The best one is the cannon hurricane
And now we get a premium one! Wooooo!

I think this is one of the vids that got me into sim lol I couldn’t fly this plane for shit but it helped me get my settings dialed in.
These videos are great.

Head on, stealth belt... You aren't faster nor more agile than them but you can pretty much turn them into fireballs with a single well aimed Burst
Great video review! I enjoyed!
