hehe, i dont have time atm to learn something new, my flighttime is very limited, 500 activity atm. And yeah, i overheat a bit, because i put the plane to its limits, its a calculated risk, and one of the reasons i do as well as i do. I do not feel it is a disgrace if it happens and the result is 5 kills ;)

hahaha i love that moment at 9:01. That was so nasty what you two did to that 109 haha. Perfect bait and the Wyvern's execution was perfect. All you heard was the whine of the Wyvern and the next thing you know the 109 was obliterated lol. Sounded and looked so awesome.

P-51H is probably the plane I am most hyped about in 1.71.

What's cooler about this plane is if you are with three friends. I did this, and we sometimes reck the entire team. But remember to side climb. We would side climb at fifteen degrees, and stay in WEP, until 4500 meters, and turn. When you turn, go to ten degrees, and turn off WEP. that will get you something no matter what. Don't let bombers distract you. And watch out for Do 335's.

What a great video Jengar! I don't have any P51 but they are a nightmare when a fly the A7M1. You said the climb rate on the P51 is not great but the stats card says it's 22.7 m/s, way better than the A7M1. Unless they choose to engage in a turn fight, I always find myself with no answers to fight it. By the time I get to 5000m, they're already above me and then they have the power to always zoom away should they choose to do so. This plane is a bit of a frustration for me for these reasons. The video though... really, really good! :) Great teamwork there.
Thank you for your input Jovaan. I should have said "if the cards are accurate". However, I do often find P51s and P47s above me by the time I reach a decent altitude, not surprising given the P47s gets air spawn. Perhaps I am not climbing in the most efficient way. The A7M2 climbs better than the A7M1 if I am not mistaken but I haven't flown that one more than a couple times.
American planes like the p47 perform very well in high altitudes, from my experience the p47 will climb like a brick until ~5.5km alt and then go beast mode while the A7M1 is the other way around i believe (havent flown it that much to be certain) better performance at lower alts.
it says 22.7 but that is a flat out lie in the stat card. It is more like around 16-18m/s, it just feels that it cant get to alt with 22.7m/s. Im not really sure but the D30 just does not feel right, very strange FM.
High time gaijin provided accurate info in the planes' stats cards. I do appreciate your guys' input as, like i said, I don't have any of the P51s. They seem to be a difficult foe for me though.
Do not expect the P51Ds to be that fun to play. Everyone says they are OP and undertiered but its more so how passive people play them. Most other nations tier 4 fighters just work better, I dont know why but they do not feel right and fine. When you unlock the Ds you might see what I mean, but until then If you get a p51D below you he is pretty much dead if you work the right angles.
Hello! I'm a newbie on your channel. was looking for the latest review on 30 mustang. You had a great battle out there... Do you use keyboard or mouse when dogfighting those 109s?
Also, can you advise how to deal with soviet la7 and la11???, cause all I can running from them: the climb better and, as far as I see, they turn better..
yeah, i use M&K, as the the la's, they only climb better up to about 4500m. Above that you will improve, they will diminish. You need to take the time to sideclimb.
Love this plane, my grinder, have ace crew ,fully upgraded, and a talismen, i use tracers ammo. Fantastic, little problems with overheating, I've been working on MEC to alleviate that.

I love this plane, with the previous D models I never was able to fly them well. But the D-30 significantly with more performance as given me much better games :P

WT states that tHe P51 30 Varient is best of the 5, 10, 20 Marks. What makes it better?
Could you make a video on your control settings? Especially mouse and aim sensitivity?
I have a hard time getting my guns on target, despit beeing in good positions. My aim is allways a little bit shaky and I am very consistent in just missing the enemy. The planes often seem to "wobble" when I try to get guns on target.
mouse and aim sensitivity are default, 1800 dpi mouse.
try to lead the target twice as much as you think you need, then reel the lead in as needed.
My aim is getting better from just leading more than i think is adequate. This is indeed a great tip.

Yeah I've had a couple P-51s surprise me, especially because American pilots tend not to be the best. It's always refreshing to see a good American pilot using these beautiful planes to their best.

That looked really easy Jengar - but I doubt it was. I've just grabbed your review of the Wyvern, because it looks interesting. Is there any way of asking the game creators to introduce new planes? As I said before I'd really like to see the Westland Whirlwind, and definitely the de Havilland Hornet. :)
the hornet was just introduced in the new patch ;) you can request planes somewhere on the technical forum i think ;)

I have no idea what it is but the D30 and even D5 just feel really strange. Something about it just does not feel right after the FM got Nerfed(imo). Its one of those things where I feel as if I could do more in any other 4.7 fighter. Just very off putting with the FM it has right now I have no idea why.
Gaijin cant accept too much freedom in real life.. so they had to nerf it in game

I've been flying my fw190 d13 lately and american pilots don't know how to deal with sissors and throttle control and get pissed when I kill them after they overshoot

true, although it really depends most on the pilot to see who would win :)
I amn't sure sideclimbing is that good an idea with the D-30. Not when most of the team is dead on the ground. You have 2k horsepower below 2500 - so I've had some interesting matches by climbing to 3k and just accelerating.
You reach a speed not far off most aircraft's rip speed so you can just suck down uopprtuinists and outrun them, then use your energy retention to kill 'em when they slam face-first into a wall of drag.
I'd have more kills with it if I could hit my targets
Or if I'd played the game in the last few months.
i personally prefer my altitude tbh! you cant boom and zoom from the bottum up ;)
I prefer the D-30 over the H. The H has a tendency of always being up against jets. Which it (the H), can handle, BUT!
i like the D-30 a lot as well :)

Heh, you won't be able to out-maneuver a K-4 in a D-30 in 1.71, even at 500+ kph. Unless the final dev server pass adds in the 109's proper control stiffening problems at those speeds, anyway.

When the P51D30 used to be good, now its BS, doesnt climb, lost its supercharger so its useless at high alt, gets outrun by G6, G2 at alt, G55S dives better than it, j2m2 at 4.3 outclimbs it, F, i dont know why gaijin nerfed it so hard, same goes for the F8F1B
think I'll be looking forward to the p51H at .........................5.7

Jengar it's not the people that fly it but the people you fly against, idm destroying the enemy team but I do mind getting destroyed by something I can't fight when it's played correctly

Please play some Japanese planes they're not really bad they're really maneuverable although armament is kinda weak the A6M2 is really good you should try it
