Where is the circuit board made and populated? Just casually dropped in there, without further prior assembling?
Thinking the same thing. Unless they say otherwise, its reasonable to guess that the PCB is made in China.

No, that is myth. Keep them clean, but you can touch them with your bare hands. I think its some high energy light bulbs you don't want to touch, like projector bulbs.
Heath Barnhart - Exactly. Arc lamp bulbs are funky, the oil from your skin will quickly cook onto/into the surface of the glass, etching it a little more deeply each time it's turned on. Those bulbs are filled with various gases, which they need to function properly. Eventually the photo-etching of your fingerprint can prematurely kill the bulb by making its surface porous, allowing those gases to escape, or (and I've seen it) by getting really hot in that spot (absorbing light, like black paper vs. white paper, but worse) and causing the glass to crack open violently. It's probably not a bad idea to wipe the oils off gently (when the tube is cool!), but the glass tends to be thicker, relative to their overall size, and don't have pressurized gases inside, nor do they put out nearly as many intense UV rays that accelerate the etching caused by the acid in your finger sweat/oils.
