I have been watching your videos for a while now. The whole time thought I was subscribed but just noticed I was not. Sorry for not subscribing sooner!
Back in my early days, cabovers were 90% of what trucks that were on the road. I drove so many different brands of cabover, I've lost count. I still like 'em to this day.......
I have to.say Bruce got me hooked on Cabover with Blue Collar. Love seeing y'all restore these trucks. Would love to be able to drive one someday but thanks for sharing these are awesome
You and Brax remind me of my own dad and myself when I was a kid. Remember going to go see trucks and riding alongside my old man. I'm almost 30, and those are the best memories with my dad, keep it up cause these memories will last him a lifetime. Still loving the content and ready to see the old cabovers making money for you
It's one of my first time watching video best part is I can see your good farther teaching your son him good things and keep out trouble it's not easy being a father when you are a single father and wish you you could be there for your kids more it's great to see that you care for your kids keep doing good videos with your son so he'll grow up to be a good man like you okay
Another great video.. I watch because you bring great content and I love your relationship with your son. He will be well rounded when he gets older because you care to show him and let him learn. Great job as a parent as well.. By the way.. I'm loving your will to bring the cabover back. They are all going over seas which is a shame. I'm a Volvo man but would love a completely rebuilt COE for my company.. Gill Trucking Inc. Raleigh NC
The ATHS(American Historical Truck Society)would appreciate the fact that you are rescuing these old cabovers, and putting them to work;using them to haul loads with, which is what they were designed for. Plus they don't build cabovers here in North America anymore,so they have become a rarity out on the roads;and they sure do catch people's attention especially now that these old trucks have attained vintage status.
First time viewing your channel , I can’t watch to much without wanting to get back OTR ! Lol. I love the Freight Shakers , I drove a 1983 for 15 years and I miss it ! Overall I drove for 35 years but now retired ( back injury ) but you don’t see to many cabovers on the road anymore and the new tractors I guess are automatic ! DANG ! Today’s drivers ( not all ) are steering wheel holders ! I watched a guy take 15 minutes to back up into a dock ! My grandpa told me anyone can drive down the road but it takes a trucker to back it up ! Shiny side up , rubber side down !
By far the best trucking channel I’ve found. I’m amazed with your son’s knowledge man. Trucking is in my blood and I can’t get enough of these REAL old trucks u buying up
Love the New Freightliner COE I drove an 86 for a couple of years Even from New it was hard to shift without the Clutch I had to Double Clutch it most of the time Your getting to have a real Nice Fleet Enjoy
Wish I had my CDL. Had the chauffeur lincese when I got out of the ARMY driving the all well drive 5 ton trucks. They were a beast to drive in them small towns in Germany... lol
Congratulations on the new truck. Love seeing you and Brax with the trucks. Ur lucky you ain't got no snow!! It cold here in NJ and we have 10 inches on the ground with ice storm Monday. Keep warm and stay safe
I’m not a huge fan of guys using box tubing for running duel exhaust. It breaks up the flow for the exhaust and sound is not as good as 5in pipe. But that’s just my opinion. But it’s definitely a cool rig
I worked on old frieght shakers just like that . Same cab not as long...LoL.Runs good. And he has the Fuel turned up now...LOL...That will pull ur boats for u...Rides better because its long...Great video...
Take about 3or4 feet outta that frame and it would still be long enough to help the ride, yet short enough not to be stupid! Love them Freightliners! Cabover or conventional!! That thing is insulated good,it's quieter than the 2006 Colombia I drive!
Hi there from perth Western Australia. I wish you guys the best of health and family happiness, and wealth. Be proud. Send kind regards. Peace brother. Danny
Looks like the extended cab overs that we used in the Air Force to pull the trailers that was used to remove and replace the warheads and guidance systems. Right behind the cab was a large generator to run all the needed electronics. MSgt David R. Smyth, USAF, Ret.
@@Gentryandsons Yes I did. Thanks for the heads up. What you bought, the Freightliner was what we used at one time. With the length of the bed, it could have been one of the Missile guidance section tractors. The generator behind the cab ran all the electronics and hoists in the trailer if site power had problems and ran the environmental systems enroute to the silos. Thanks. If I had my choice, I would drive a cab over everyday instead of a car. Better views! Let me know when it's done, I would like to see it. MSgt David R. Smyth, USAF, Ret.
Looks like you guys are gonna be " OUTLAWS " got them loud colors for semi'. Lookin good!! Wait til your in your 50's and 60's you'll wanta stay in your W900 KW them cab overs will get to your knees & back after you climb in and out of them enough. Good luck keep the videos a commin...
I know Bruce put a lot of money in Blue Collar. But the new yellow coe would look awesome with the same mods as Blue. Bumper, headache rack, drop visor and the same steers. Then do all amber chicken lights on that girl.
I drove a 1987 Freightliner cabover single axle spring ride. I drove it for 6 years pulling doubles for Roadway Package System, now known as FedEx ground, from NJ to Fl to Pa and back to NJ weekly. Yep I've had my fill of cabovers. and that was over 25 years ago.
I sure enjoy your video s so much I for get to click like but I will work on that for sure . Watching your video remind me of hang out with my buddy in the driveway and just taking about 🚗 we are going to build
Driving cabovers in the 70s were different. I remember midwest winters and the heater worked enough to keep coffee from freezing running northbound on windy nights
Hey Mr Gentry that is a cool truck I think you don't need to get rid of that that would be an awesome truck for your fleet if it runs great and drives great I think that you going to some cabovers if so neat especially the older ones what kind of truck was that a Freightliner also you know the old saying goes for enough money anything is for sale so do what you want I love the content that you put into your channel you and your son is amazing
I drove a K100 for my uncle. He had a trucking company based out of Miami. The K100 was a 1979 flat top. It had a cat 3406 with 400 hp and 1050 torque. A 13 speed and the ride was horrible. Anyways, his fleet consisted 25 379’s. The k100 was 12 years old when I started driving her. I only drove while on break from college. That COE was my favorite truck. I turned down a 379 just to keep driving my K100. I wasn’t a fan of the long hood.
That's a nice truck to add to your fleet. It's good to see those old cabover trucks still running. They're a part of history. I enjoy watching your channel. Keep the great content coming.

THAT TRUCK SOUND JUST MADE MY HEART GROW 2 SIZES BIGGER AND GLOW LIKE THE SUN. NICE BUY AND LOOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING HER SING DOWN THE ROAD.
Man when I was I kid, I thought those cabovers were the sexiest trucks on the road!! Nice to see one looking sharp!
When I was a kid the sweetest truck was the 1976 Bicentennial Kenworth W-900 VIT-200,,,,still a pretty rig today
Eddie is a good man! We’ve been friends since we were kids hauling hay and working tobacco on my papaw’s farm. Glad his truck went to a good home!

Beautiful freightliner I love the cab overs ever since I was a kid they get a unique look 👍🏼
Love how you break in and told us you sold the Dodge. Then back to the cabover. Too funny!

Love the long wheel base cab over.
That's a unique exhaust set up. Never seen anyone use square tubing before.
I’m not a huge fan of guys using box tubing for running duel exhaust. It breaks up the flow for the exhaust and sound is not as good as 5in pipe. But that’s just my opinion. But it’s definitely a cool rig

Nice truck. Love to see all the cabovers lined up
Im Randy from Arkansas, since the new freightliner is yellow, a good nickname for it would be Big Bird, like off if sesame street. 2 thumbs up.
Nothing bad about buying trucks until they don’t fit in the yard and the bank account is empty lol
Yeah, but when you have more money than Jed Clampett, those sorts of problems don't effect you, huh Tim?, lol
I'm sure he's not that dumb
Looks like you guys are gonna be " OUTLAWS " got them loud colors for semi'. Lookin good!! Wait til your in your 50's and 60's you'll wanta stay in your W900 KW them cab overs will get to your knees & back after you climb in and out of them enough. Good luck keep the videos a commin...

It looks like you can't float them Tim and double clutch is the way to go
That is a beautiful rig and I love the stretch job on it. Enjoy!!!
Such a cool truck, and it sounds amazing...
I know Bruce put a lot of money in Blue Collar. But the new yellow coe would look awesome with the same mods as Blue. Bumper, headache rack, drop visor and the same steers. Then do all amber chicken lights on that girl.
Your stretch cab over looks great
A 9 over is a very long legged transmission... I had an old ltl9000 a long time ago with 4:11 rears and a 9 over and it would roll out !
Nice looking rig !! Luv them cabovers !!
I drove a cab over for a year and that was enough for me.. beats the living snot out of you. Enjoy.

I hope you keep this truck - it would look awesome rolling as a team with ol Blue Collar
A lot of those cabover's you have to use the clutch in just an fyi
Them old big cams like being shifted around 2100 should be smooth as butter then
