I am a fleet owner too and like seeing you restore these older trucks. I know first hand how much work and money goes into that. I really like the mechanicing videos. You can always learn something new.
I like the Red&White&Blue old school paint job, the suggestions from the other viewers to name her "The Patriot" sounds great.

We use to take the old windshield into a glass shop & get them cut out using laminated glass as their flat windshields. Works out real cheep!
Yup! We did this for old RV’s when I was a parts manager at an rv dealership, even did it for side windows on newer RV’s because $25 was cheaper than $100 plus freight on those windows!
Make sure the glass has the laminated branding or some DOT get sketchy.

This old K100 Aerodyne is in remarkable shape! Needs some TLC for sure, but you’ve got a good base on which to build. For paint…..Root Beer brown metallic with Aztec Gold stripes would be perfect.

Tim I forgot to mention in the video were you said the guy you traded the trailer for the Mack and International trucks told you he would pay for the head work an apologized for not knowing it was messed up that was awesome of him to make the trade/deal rite an awesome that you let Devon do the head removal and replacement I'm sure he was stoked with confidence that you trusted him to do it.... Also he must've left the oil pressure sensor and coolant sensor unplugged or it definitely wouldn't have been running as awesome.. and the good thing it's not a major mistake but one that will remind him in the future to double and even triple check those in the future on future jobs just a part of learning and he seems to be doing awesome.. also Braxton was killing it on the help he had involved with it and you could tell from the video he genuinely likes working on trucks also

@@ernestpassaro9663 i agree with you there i've had several and every one of them was a damn good engine ,,i stuck one in a steiger tractor about a decade ago and it's still going with no major repairs yet other than a clutch which i just finished last week

K100 is my new favorite truck on the channel. Takes me back to when I was a kid watching BJ and the Bear. If you ever decided to sell it I'll be there with hundred dollar bills in hand.
Tim I just seen how nice amazingly nice the interior is in the new to the fleet K100 is that K100 looks like it just needs a once over on the mechanical stuff,clean the interior and either do a cleaning of the paint and a satin clear coat for that patina look and maybe a new big front bumper couldn't tell if the driver side is push in a little or not

I used to drive a 94 eagle with a 444 Cummins and 18spd pulling six axle west coast set up , it was ugly brown and gold livery, but worked and pulled like a champ , and yes an international eagle drives super nice 👍🏻

Tim you have 3 of my favourite trucks in your position the Pete , gotta love them hoods , the Kenworth 100 cab over , gotta love those cab overs , last one I drove was a 83 big shack , if we were closer I would offer to buy Braxton’s 79 F250 , I had mine it had Dana 60s under it and a cast iron transfer case , damn near indestructible but I broke it in half trying to jump a small river , busted the front pumpkin out of it and folded right behind the cab . Keep up with the awesome entertainment .

I drove 3 International Eagles and they are a really good truck as far as im concerned I liked the way the dash was laid out and they are not a bad looking truck

"Patriot", perfect name for the K-100 Aerodyne. Kenworth introduced the Aerodyne in 1976, I think there 50 K-100's and 50 W-900's, all sported a special, bicentennial paint scheme. Yours is already in a red, white, and blue paint job, given the color of yours and the history of the Aerodyne, "Patriot" is a great name for it.

Thats the colors of the Carretta Trucking.. there older trucks were. Then they went to Blue Pete cabovers.. But they always used to have CAT Motors in them. Great truck. I drove for Carretta for 7 years. Great Video...

Good Deal 👍 My grandpa had a Few Cabover K-Whoppers...I loved the summer's ... school would let out and I'd leave with dad in our 359 Pete ..I'd run with him for a couple of weeks then he'd getta load through Pawpaw Al's to drop me off. then I'd run around with him Truckin' for a month'er so then dad would pick me up and run with him till school started back . They both would let me drive sitting on lap till i turned 13 then they'd let drive by myself late at night... Peace ✌️ Love 💕 and 18 Wheelz to All.... Cabover K-Whopper gonna be Tuff E-nuff...and it's an Aerodyne ... Double Bunk Double Bunk Cabover Kenworth is what I called them when I was little...

Theirs a local trucking company that has 6 cab overs. Stored in one of their shop in new Bethlehem. I've only seen one of them is a pete. Then I seen new kw cabover sitting in a savage yard

Awesome choice in buying the Areodine K 100. Not long ago, a light yellow and white KW cabover sold in Perris, Ca for an unknown amount. I love the old cabover trucks too, especially the ones made before 1984.

I love the old kw an pb cab over or long nose either one an the stand up sleepers totally different rigs but all of em are bad ass . But the original look paint works for me just like the looks made for working good clean looking factory style paint jobs an Crome that’s the cat’s meow lol .
