This is the only detailed WOC tartelette palette vid that I've found. I really appreciate the detail you put into editing. You really helped me make my decision to buy or not.

Im so glad you did this review. I was interested in this palette but I'm not feeling how some of those colours are ashy! I have a similar skin tone so I guess that's no to me. They need to do better 😐 TFS!!
Received this palette on a Tuesday and 4 of the shadows were broken/destroyed down to the pan. Sent Tarte an email and they responded so quickly that I had a replacement sent to my home on Saturday before 10am! I am a Tartelette for LIFE. Oh and the pigmentation is superb.

I just ordered this palette & I'm excited to have it & use more matte eye shadows ;-)) this palette is currently on QVC for $36.36 & also comes with a double sided brush! Great deal & initially I was really resisting this palette but after seeing it so much & seeing it for that price i caved ;-)) the price is good until 1/29/15 ... Your welcome all who can get it for $36 instead of $44 ;-))

Woops, I see in the description box that you used Dior foundation. It looks absolutely lovely on you! I believe we're around the same skintone and undertone so I need to get Dark Beige because Honey beige looks way too light for me. I deleted my last comment because it asked about what foundation you're wearing howvever, great review on Tartelette. I wasnt sure if I should get this because the lighter colors were very intimating for me. Still on the fence though. Not sure if I should get Becca Ombre or Tartelette.

thefancyfaced Thanks for the recommendation! I will explore the Chocolate Bar palette. I think I got sidetracked trying to find an all matte palette. When browsing around last night, I discovered that Too Faced came out with a new palette called Natural Matte Palette and the colors look nice.
First and foremost, I love your reviews. So I just used the palette today for the first time and I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but when I blended the shadows it just blended away. A little disappointed. :-(

This palette did nothing for me it was just ashy on me I don't see the rave in a lot of these products
I feel like a lot of Tarte's product are more for very light skin tones :|
So true! Really hope they come out with a palette for deeper skintones as they have the pigmentation and formulation down!

Really good review. I think using a brush to show swatches shows shadows more accurately. Thanks....could you do the visart palette the same way?

Yes! The picture shows dark colors but they are not as deep in real life.

rowserm Viseart has more warm tones....I would say quality is equal.
